I should say that rebate 77 won't work for the giftcard, but the rest of the scenario would work for a 1.99 moneymaker after the 20 dollar mail in rebate. Still a good deal, just not as good a deal. I'll be passing on this one since I already purchased the scope and crest.

This post is one of the most understandable couponing ones I've EVER seen!

Finally, something to help those of us still trying to grasp the whole couponing thing...

Wouldn't you still be able to get both rebates if you just waited until 10/11 to make the purchase since the Olay rebate is good until 10/25?

How does it work if you have to mail an original receipt in to both places? One for the Olay rebate and one for the Rite-Aid SCR?

You can submit the Rite Aid receipt in online. That is what I always do each month. You just input the info from your receipt and the correct rebates automatically get calculated into your account. Then at the end of the month, you request your check.

I would wait to do this deal until the week of 10/11 and dounle dip for the $10 p & G Rebate. Just take out the scope and crest and replce it with something else free that week!

Ok- another thought. Olay is on sale buy one get one 50% off. So if you buy the eye roller you can buy the Total Effects face wash for about $4. I used a "buy olay total effects moisturizing product, get Secret Flawless deoderant free." I also used an $1/1 Olay Regenerist coupon on the eye roller. In total I paid $4 for the Total Effects Face Wash & Deoderant. Not a SUPER deal, but not too bad either!

The Olay eye roller was almost $22 at my Rite Aid. Boo!

I think you can make this work and get both rebates as long as you do your Olay & Pantene purchases the week of 10/11 - 10/17.

Go ahead and buy the Scope & Crest this week for the rebates.

According to iheartritead.com, Pantene is sale again 2/$7 the week of 10/11. In fact, there are a whole page of deals to line up with the $10 gift card deal.

You should be able to get the Pantene & Olay products for around $30 ($22.00 after coupons) and with the $20 Olay rebate & the $10 Johnson & Johnson rebate, you will still come out ahead.

The actual numbers will have to be worked out that week.

I took advantage of the BOGO 50% off Olay and purchased one of the 2 bar packs. They were 3.39 and I had a $1 coupon from a P&G mailer, I believe so that made them .70 after coupon. I have to go back through my receipt to be positive, but it looks like the cashier took off a $1 coupon that I had for Olay cleanser or moisturizer for the Eye Roller, too. Never hurts to try!

I checked my receipts and they did accept the $1 coupon that I used for the eye roller. I don't think the register beeped on it. I didn't have any coupons for Pantene that weren't for a specific line that was not part of the 3.33 sale but hopefully other have had better luck!!
