I have a sears store very near to me. Can I use one $10 coupon today and then use another one some other day?

I'm going today. Thanks!

I tried printing it twice, but the bar code has the same number. Is that OK?

Anonymous said...

It's a PDF coupon, everyone has the same bar code.

This is soooo awesome!!

Hmmm . . .It's only taking $5.99 off my order. I have 2 Juniors shirts for $5.99 each in my cart and it only took the $10 off one item.

Is it only good for one item?

Kris

Has anyone been able to get the online code to work? I can't get it to go through. Kim

Wow. I think I'm a coupon code dropout! I just tried to purchase a Junior's shrug for $12 and the coupon code says it's not valid on the item?

Guess I need to read up on what the coupon is actually for!

Strange coupon code. It does allow me to get a $8 shirt for free, just pay shipping and handling (which is about the price of the shirt, so no real savings.)

I think the code must have some issues online.

In Chattanooga, they told my hubby it was only good for online sales. I think I may have to make a trip myself to town...

I went this morning. I did 3 transactions because it said per purchase and i thought that it would just be easier that way since i shopped the clearance section and i didnt have one item that was $10. I got 15 shirts for around $1 and some change each order. The store i went to had great cleranced stuff for my daughter. Please scan your items as the price might be less than what it says. I got a bunch of shirts for 2.00 but the tag said 7.99..the cashier was soo nice. i asked her if i can do 3 trans. and she said ok, it wasnt crowded in store at all. then she keep using the same coupon for all 3 transactions and then just gave my coupon back to me. She was so cool i asked her if she could take coupons for herself and i gave her the coupon she gave back to me for her to use. I am going back later to grab more stuff..awesome shopping trip thanks HIPTOSAVE!!!

anon, i dont know why they would tell your hubby that it is for online only..unless you have a scanner at home, it has a barcode on it..lol..duhh..

just got back from Sears- the cashier wouldn't use the coupons because my item didn't come to $10. I asked for the manager since the coupon says no minimum purchase and she was so nice. Gave me the difference of the item and let me use another coupon on another clearance item. My store had a ton of great clearance for under $10. There is no limit- they just have to be separate transactions. Crazy! I could go back and get more...

I just got back from Sears and before sales and coupons I would have spent $314.45 and with coupons and sales I only spent $26.67 WAHOOO. Thanks Collin for the great tip.

I went to Sears (Whitehall,PA) today and had no luck. The cashier was not friendly at all. I double-checked with another cashier and she called the manager. But nobody was of any help. They said my transaction has to be exactly $10 or above. Moreover, I was not allowed to combine items to get a total of $10. It should be just one single item per coupon. I searched for clearance items, but didn't find any that would make a good deal.

Anonymous said...

the coupon does say "no minimum purchase" so they shouldn't have done that anon- sorry you had that kind of service!

Anonymous said...

the coupon does say $10 off so it is safe to assume that you have to get things at least $10, as well as buying things that are in the junior department, not any other department. All that is stated on the coupon. Getting something less than $10 would just not make common sense at all. No minimum purchase means that you dont have to spend for example $25 or $15 in order to use it.

I went to my Sears yesterday and they have a HUGE clearance sale. On top of that, you can deduct 40% off that marked down price! After the coupon, my sister and I each got three tops for less than $1.00 total. Great find! Thanks!

I just took the coupon to my Sears here in Terre Haute, Indiana. My bill totalled $13.56 for 1 pair of jeans and 2 tops. They are having an additional 40% off all clearnce right now so I got a great deal!!! Thanks hip2save!!!

I had a horrible time with Sears today. First the lady before me had 5 transactions and got to use her coupons. The cashier needed help so a manager came over, and then said to her that people could only use 1 coupon per visit. I told him the coupon did not state that and it said 1 coupon per purchase, with no minimum. So I got 3 shirts for $2. I left the store and came back in to do another purchase at a diff register. The assistant manager came over because the item I wanted was $9.99 and she told me I had to spend exactly $10 to use it, then told me " didn't the manager already say something to you once" I told her I left and came back and then she tried telling me I was commiting fraud. I was so pissed I told her where to stick it and I'd take my business elsewhere.
I'll go back in a couple weeks. but if I have issues again I will say to their face I want their 800 number and their names.

I have been a few times and this is all up to what kind of cashier you have i went to different cashiers and one told me itwas an online coupon which is not true duh it has a BARCODE the manager came over and told her she was wrong se was not happy but she had to check me out. I really dont get why the cashirs care they don pay them to be cupon police they pay them to be nice and check out customers and give service. i guess thats a hard job for some but get ready for finding a nice cashier. or asking for the manager:)

I just got back from Sears in Columbia, TN and they would not accept the coupon with the explanation that it was expired. The coupon plainly states that it is good 9-15 to 11-14, but they still would not take it even when I tried to buy an item not on sale and over $10.00. Do not waste your time on this coupon.

I went today and they did have a little trouble with the coupon. It kept saying it was expired but it clearly stated it was good through the middle of November. They had to manually put it in on each transaction but overall it was a success!! I got around $140.00 worth of clothes for my daughter for $4 and some change. Thank you!!

They would not let me use my coupon. My cashier was ringing me up and then some woman (who knows if she was a manager or what, she never actually talked to ME) came over and said, yeah I'm off work. Then goes, let me see that (refering to coupon). She said, no we can't take that because it's printed, only talking to the cashier. Then, my cashier turned to me and said "sorry." I asked why I could not use it, as I had printed it from the SEARS website. She said I don't know, and all the time the lady that said I couldn't use it was standing there. I just left everything, which I was a little upset about since I had spent 1.5 hours in the store!!!

So frustrating! It seemed like that lady was just stalking me until I checked out to see what I would do. I hate it when they make you feel awful for using something they put out!

Awful experience with the store in Jax,FL. Same thing, they said it was expired, needed to reach $10 before taxes, was also told that it was an internet coupon... these people have clearly read the coupon so many times. I paid more than I intended to and was pissed! They even had the audacity to tell me "there is a website on your receipt where you can put your feedback..." I definitely did that!!

The store in Mansfield,Ohio is not taking the coupon at all. They have a sign at each register stating they are not excepting it. Very disappointed in Sears!

Hello

I went to my local Sears store in Joplin, Mo today. I tried to use the $10.00 off coupon and it would not scan, lady called up to main office to see what the problem was. She was informed the Sears Corporate Office sent an email to ALL Sears stores this morning saying No store is to except these coupons. They are genuine Sears coupons but said that they were being abused so they will not honor them anymore.

Just thought I’d give you a heads up. I’m VERY disappointed that Sears has done this! I’m sure I’m not the only one either.

I used my coupon yesterday around noon and it did beep "coupon expired". Manager was called, she read the coupon thoroughly and was told to override the register. I got a cute hoodie for my niece's christmas gift for $5 after Q. I'm sad to hear about all the problems with the coupon, what corporate is saying to do and that the coupon is still online!

I went to use my coupon and was denied, however I called customer relations and they are sending me a gift card for the $10...It's better than nothing.

I went today and was told they weren't accepting these anymore either. Maybe I'll send a letter to corp.

Sears stores have put up signs that state they will not honor this coupon in-store. What a bunch of nonsense! The coupon clearly states both online and in-store redemption methods. Please, everyone of us needs to complain to Sears about this coupon debacle! Really, do they think we're blind. Then sales clerk proudly showed me the sign, and I proudly told her I wasn't buying anything and walked out. Who is the marketing genius that comes up with these schemes? Maybe they could hire someone who can think two steps ahead before they screw up, rather than someone who screws up, then wants the customer to pick up the cost, time and anger at their mess up!
