4 FREE Pond's Towelettes (5 ct)- Travel Size!

I mentioned previously how you can snag the Travel size Pond's Towelettes (5 ct) for FREE at Target. They're priced at just $0.97 and then you can use the $1.50/1 printable coupon from Coupons.com to get these totally FREE + make some possible overage!

Well, I didn't realize this (maybe you have), but there is also a $1.50/1 Pond's coupon available here: IE or Firefox. This coupon also doesn't specify any size, so you can use it on the travel size Pond's Towelettes too!

With both coupons, printed twice, you should be able to snag a total of 4 FREE Pond's Towelettes! I'm guessing that Walmart and various other stores sell these too!

(Thanks, Gene!)

I did try to use one of these coupons last night and was not allowed to make the purchase (with PLENTY to cover the overage). I'll have to try another cashier, who may not give me "the look" as if I'm trying to steal something.

I don't see the ponds coupon on coupons.com anymore. Please post your zip if you can still see them.

Thanks

I couldn't find on coupons.com either thanks for the info on firefox!

I was not allowed to use the ponds for the trial size or the $2.00 Renu coupon for the $1.52 travel size but after reading the Coupon Policy for Target it seems like I should have been allowed? I had a lot of other items.

It would be awesome if you could do a weekly post on travel size freebies and links. I always overlook these coupons.

I found the coupon (zip 30120) and used it at Target...I had no problem. I used it at the Target in Kennesaw GA for the travel size and got it for FREE! Thanks.

I printed 4 coupons in total. But after reading the comments, I am scared to use it on travel size. I would be really embarrassed(maybe coz i am a new couponer)if the cashier says 'NO' :)

I tried to use these yesterday at Target. It was a HUGE problem! A cashier (NOT my cashier) injected herself into my transaction and thew a fit. Said I could not use more than 1 like coupon in a transaction even if I had more than 1 like item. It was a nasty scene (her part, not me). I ended up voiding my whole transaction and just getting 1 of everything but could not use the Sara Lee Q, Ponds Q, etc. b/c they were over the price (despite having plenty to absorb the overage). They wouldn't adjust the Qs down. Even said no to Tide despite it being $1.02 and the Q just $1. Ugh. She claimed it was their store policy. I called a manager when I got back to work and, of course, she was wrong after putting me through all of that and ensinuating that I was some sort of thief! I sent an email to corporate as well. The CS at my Target STINKS!

Collin, how do you convince the cashiers to let u use coupons on travel size products? A lot of us are having problems with the travel size...

I didn't see any at coupons.com, but I got my Pond's coupon from redplum.com

I found the coupons at Red Plum, not coupons.com (zip 53110).

I used 2 at Target on Monday. The cashier acted like they worked, but when I looked at my receipt, they didn't come off. I was able to go to the service desk to get the money back (in cash).

never mind the ones from redplum say 30ct only

I used this one at my Target in Florida and it went through with overage. Not sure if the cashier had to push it through or not, but it worked for me! I am lucky at my Target to not have many problems with the coupons. Only one time has anything been adjusted down, and that was when there was $1.50 in overage, which I can sort of understand.

These are great for trips! I'm going to use them this weekend for our trip, hoping Target doesn't give me any hassels. One thing I was wondering about... what is the best way to save when eating out on trips? I'm taking snack stuff and one meal, but other than that, do you have any suggestions on saving when you're traveling? Thanks!

I usually eat at Subway, MC & Burger King when travelling which keeps my food expenses low.

When I travel, I really avoid eating out unless it's with a group of friends. But for on my own here's what I eat:

Breakfast is easy, take things like instant oatmeal, fruit, protein bars.

For lunch/dinner, one thing I always take is packets of tuna! Also you can buy a rotisserie chicken at your local grocery store, if you have a fridge/others to share with. Then for eating out, you can get free gift cards to Subway or other places by doing MyPoints.com and other sites. Another thing to look into is Restaraunt.com when they have a cheap promotion (which Hip2Save often posts).

My cashier called the manager over yesterday because the package I bought was the 5pk and on the picture it showed the 30pk, it is funny how they do not read the wording on the coupon they just go by the picture. The coupon reads "ANY", thankfully the manager agreed and put it through as well as 5 buddies which they were going to deny because they thought those were trial size as well. No overage, but they were FREE so good for me!

SusieQpon do you not have a print up of Target's coupon policy?

You can find it HERE

Please print it up and take it with you everytime you go to the store. That way you can pull it out if there are any issues. :)

Barbara, thanks for the suggestions, the chicken is a great idea! There is 6 of us, so eating out gets expensive. I'm gonna look into the mypoints thing also. THANK YOU!

Always try to carry the Target travel policy with you. It happened to me today and I wiped it out, read it to them and then they were ok.

Hey Collin,I just got back from Walmart and came across this deal,
in the makeup section look for the Max makeup and on the back of the product are $3.00 peelies for any cover girl makeup. I found the cover girl makeup eyeshadow for $3.12. So .12 cents for eyeshadow is all I paid.

Anon at 8:59 about eating while traveling - look for hotels that include a meal with a stay. Most will do something for breakfast and while you're down there, look for things that are individually wrapped. Bowls of cereal, granola bars, bottled water, etc. Those can for sure be found at economy and extended stay type hotels (Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Residence Inn by Marriott)

Sometimes its worth it to stay at a hotel that charges a little more per night if it includes a lot of extras - especially If you're going to a bigger city. Double Tree's have free fresh-baked cookies upon check in and most will give you another anytime you ask. Embassy Suites have a "Managers Reception" every night which is just a fancy word for "included happy hour" - from 4-7 free drinks and snacky foods!!! (Like popcorn, build-your-own nachos, mini burgers and more.)

Worked for me-thanks! I got for of the travel size. The cashier didn't think I could use them so she called for the manager (who is super nice). I told her they could adjust them down. He said, "Actually, as long as she has other stuff so you don't ending owing her money, you can go ahead and punch in $1.50." AWESOME! They just get reimbursed by the company so it really shouldn't matter to them. Needless to say, picked up some of the other little deals and got some great things!
