Duvets are like comforters, except that they have removable covers that can be washed separately and switched up to match your decor. Very good if you have pets, kids, or a smaller washer!

A duvet goes over a comforter. I have one that goes over my white down comforter. I love it!:)
Just read through the reviews on this item. Seems a lot of people were disappointed about the colors of the duvets. Might want to really look over the rest of the reviews, too.
