My Blog Spark gave me the opportunity to try 2 new games from the Elefun collection: Giraffalaff Limbo and Scatterpillar Scrabble! Can I just say first--these games are adorable and my kiddos absolutely love them!
Giraffalaff Limbo is all about doing the Limbo! The kiddos will have to spin the dial to try one of the 6 limbo styles: classic limbo, crab walk, crawl, giraffe walk, bend forward or backward! On top of that, there's music that plays and if the Giraffalaff gets knocked over, he'll roll on the floor while laughing! It's pretty cute!
In Scatterpillar Scramble the kids will have to try and balance marbles in the hands of one VERY wiggly caterpillar! This game also plays music--which really got my Kids excited! The Scatterpillar Scramble was also named the 2009 Preschool Game of the Year by Creative Child Magazine!

My four year old LOVES playing with a pack of dominoes that we bought on a vacation. It was cheap, only about $2. We played in our hotel room every night before she went to sleep. It is a great memory and every time we play, we remember that vacation-on-a-shoestring we took many months ago.
We are in the age of Candyland and Memory in our house.

At various times, depending on their ages, my kiddos have favored these games. If you don't have them, I highly recommend adding them to your game closet! Not only are these enjoyed by the kids, but I enjoy playing them as well! I can't say that about some kid games like Candy Land and Monopoly, which I'll admit that I absolutely despise! LOL
Balloon Lagoon (Cranium), Blokus(strategy game for older kids, maybe 7 and up), Ice Cream Scoops of Fun (cute matching game with a "working" ice cream scoop),and of course, Pretty Pretty Princess (we have both the Cinderella AND Sleeping Beauty versions!)

My 7 year old loves card games, we mostly play Go Fish, and he also has some Top Trumps card games that he loves to play. My 2 year old is still a little young for the card games but loves to dance! I also have a 6 month old and she enjoys peek-a-boo!
