Hi All. I just did my FIRST Rite Aid shopping this week. I submitted the receipt online for the SCRs and got a message that the receipt does not match their records.
I emailed customer service, but I'm a little worried because the deadline for them to be entered is today (for the stuff I bought - all that cold medicine).
All the receipt information I entered is identical to the receipt I received. I triple checked that.

Any advice? Has this ever happened to anyone else? I sure hope I get the rebate, cause it should be about $70!!!

Thanks everyone. I'm learning so much through all your couponing genius!!!

Don't forget to watch the videos for the $5 off $20 purchase coupon. This would make the Huggies diapers $9 OOP for 2 pks plus the $6 Rite Aid Rebate, which would make the purchase $1.50 per pack after rebates.

Michele said...

Nicci you can call customer service tomorrow and have someone review your receipt. I am reading that others are having issues also so double check your account tomorrow before you call. Don't worry about the deadline b/c it's 11/23/09 to enter your receipts

Collin the GE coupons I have from the videos say REVEAL and the ad says soft white....are there soft white reveal bulbs too? I don't pay attention to the shelves.

Anonymous said...

Nicci,

The deadline for entering shouldn't be today, so you shouldn't fret that; the deadline for purchases may be today, however. Wait it out and see the response. Maybe you forgot a number, or something. Maybe you entered one of the sets of numbers in the wrong category. They should be able to tell you. But no, it's not happened to me. I do it every month, for as long as they've had the program.

Anon~ There is a limit 1 for the huggies SCR, so you would have to use fillers.

Hip~ What scenario do you use to get $1.99 for a pack?

Michele said...

Huggies $9.99-
$3 Manufacturer coupon like $3 printable for Pure and Natural -
$2 Rite Aid Video -
$3 SCR=$1.99 pack

Thank you guys - I must have been looking at the "purchase by" date when I read Oct. 24. I'll see what customer service has to say when I call Monday. :)

I thought the ad this week was for jumbo and the SRC was for mega?? Is this correct? If so, then this wouldn't work right?

Does anyone know if you can combine the $5 off $25 coupon and the $5 off $20 coupon? Just wondering if I bought 3 packs of diapers at $9.99 each gave them the $5 off $25 coupon 1st then the $5 off $20 next then all my manufactures coupons if that would wk?
Thanks :-)

Hey! I'm not seeing rebate number 800 for the diapers. Is that new for this coming week? I was at RiteAid today and got four packs of Huggies/Pullups! lol

If anyone sees this tonight and it benefits them, Pull-Ups and Huggies were on sale for $8.99 today. I used the $2 RiteAid coupons (Huggies was from last month's video values) and I had $2 mfr coupons. I did 4 transactions where I bought diapers, filler items that were free after rebate, and used the $5 off $20 and $5 off $25 coupons. This made the diapers free, because the $5 went toward them! Some of the freebies were moneymakers, too, so I ended up ahead by about $3.

Also used up my $20 gift of savings certificate (which I got for free - I was at a 36-cent profit when I qualified for it!). I used it to buy things that were free after rebate, so I'm getting another $20 in my pocket there!

I LOVE YOU, HIP!! =)

Kate said...

Wahoo! I just saw on the RiteAid site that the $3 rebate started yesterday, so YAY! I'm getting $26 profit from today. The sign at the store said it started tomorrow. =P

Kate said...

Ha! And I just remembered the CGM rebate. $29! Woo hoo!

I also came out ahead by $1.50 at Target and can submit for the $5 Glade rebate.

It was one rockin' day! =P

Kate said...

Goodness, let me just take over the comments! ;) I just saw rebate #800 and I'm qualified for it now because of diapers I've bought in the past. Sweet!!!

Anonymous said...

Kate,
There is a limit of one $3 rebate. Can you tell us how you came out so much ahead? Maybe I missed something.

Kate said...

Sure! The rebates weren't on the diapers. I actually didn't know I was going to get a rebate on the diapers until I got home tonight. I purchased things like all that cold medicine. Here is what I did:

#1
Huggies 8.99
Chlor Kids Grape Spray 4.49
Nielmed Ready Rinse 5.99
Subtotal 19.47 (but it was over $20 after tax so they took the $5 coupon)
-$5/20 coupon
-$2 Huggies mfr coupon
-$2 RA Huggies coupon
Total oop $11.34

#2
Huggies 8.99
Hershey's Special Dark .99
Halls cough drops 1.00
Zantac 8.99
Subtotal 19.97 (but it was over $20 after tax so they took the $5 coupon)
-$5/20 coupon
-$2 Huggies mfr coupon
-$2 RA Huggies coupon
-$5 Zantac coupon
(I lost my Hershey's coupon!)
Total oop $6.87

#3
Pullups 8.99
Little Colds Mucus Relief Melts 5.49
Little Colds cold medicine 3.99
Gobstoppers .99 (because I had to get my total up and they were there - I thought the Pullups were $11.99)
Subtotal $18.47 (but over $20 with tax)
-$5/20 coupon
-$2 Pullups mfr coupon
-$2 RA Pullups coupon
Total oop $11.33

#4
Pullups 8.99
Little Remedies Allergy 9.99
Coldcalm 7.99
Sambucol Syrup 7.99
Subtotal 34.96
-$5/25 coupon
-$2 Pullups mfr coupon
-$2 RA Pullups coupon
-$1 Coldcalm coupon
-$20 gift of savings certificate
Total oop $5.86

So! Altogether, $35.40 oop, but I qualified for a free package of diapers and $57.92 in RiteAid rebates. I can also get $3 from Caregivers Marketplace. All said and done, I came out ahead by $25.52.

Hmm I wonder if I counted CGM twice when I did this the first time 'cause I was expecting to be at $25.52 before I knew about the $3 Huggies rebate. Oh well, $25.52 profit is still awesome!

If you don't count the Fall Gift of Savings, I'm $5.52 ahead. But I was actually at a profit of 36 cents when I qualified for the Gift of Savings, so it really truly was a free $20. Awesomeness! And I'll take a profit on diapers any day! =)

Holy Smokes Kate! lol Your coupon crazy! And I love it! lol

I, have never shopped at Rite Aid yet. I'm just now starting with Walgreens and with all the RR and stacking Q's and everything else, I thought I'd better master that store before trying to stuff another "How to at ***** store" into my head lol.

What are the "gift of savings certificates?" are they printed out when you spend a certain amount? Sorry..Rite Aid newbie here :P

Collin, Hope you do a Rite Aid Follow Me Monday and show me how its all done with this store...this is all so confusing but I need to learn because I'm missing out on a ton of goods here! lol

Michele said...

I still have to do my trip today. The Huggies SCR is on one package however there is a buy 5 get a free voucher till the end of the year. I bought 4 last week when they were $8.99 (pure and naturals). I am buying my 5th this week & it will count towards both the SCR and voucher.

Anon,
It's pretty easy when you follow blogs like Collins. Sometimes I swap for what I need instead. Some sites have the ad up in advance which is great for me. I usually have 3 weeks planned in advance.

The gift of Savings is over now but there is a rumor another will come around. This one was if you spend $100 (pre coupons) you get $20 savings certificate to use at Rite Aid. The last two months there was FAR(free after rebates) so you earned $$ while adding to your $100 total :)

Rite Aid is pretty simple to "work", you just have to be sure to purchase the correct items in the designated time frame. Some purchase can be made during the month long rebate period, but they often have rebates for a certain week ( and the stores don't always remove the old shelf tags advertising the rebate!).

The bad part about the rebates is you do have to shell out a LOT of money sometimes on the front end, but if you can do it, you can usually easily come out ahead using the $5/$25 coupons and MQs.

I bought cold medicine, etc. a couple of days ago and was in the store for just a few minutes and came out $32.20 ahead !!!

The AirWick sale must be regional? I didn't see it in the ad (in MI) and it wasn't 50% off at the store. Target still has them at a 5.99 price cut so I was able to snag them for free with my leftover coupons that are expiring today.

Do I sumbit for my SCR online today since November's starts? I'm new at this...

Anonymous said...

Nicci, I just saw the same problem on my account about receipts not showing up for last weeks SCR. I emailed as well because I bought everying FAR item as well. I am think it is a glitch on their end. I always keep my emails saying i entered the information. In the past they have had me fax a copy of the reciepts and they issued a separate check once they checked the items. HTH Beth

Please help! So I went shopping today and bought the vaseline and light bulbs hip2save talked about. however, it's under the november rebates. does that mean i'm not allowed to submit it for the october rebates and i have to wait til November? thanks!

Anonymous said...

Nov rebates start today, Oct 25th.

Also, I too am not seeing some receipts show from last week on SCR's...And they saw they were already entered when I tried to enter again, so something is awry in their system right now. Also, I am in NC and we have the Wellness program. Let me tell you - it's awesome combining these wellness coupons (i.e. $2 off any skincare/beauty item) with man q's...Bought a ton last week and should qualify for the L'oreal rebate.

Today I scored 2 packages of pull ups for free. Plus, free Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion & I made a dollar!! Woo hoo! I bought 2 jumbo packs of pull ups priced at $9.99 each, I will get the $4.00 SCR rebate for the lotion and I used a $1.00 off coupon to make it free! I added two small filler items to make sure the total was $25. I used the $5/$25 coupon, then the $5/$20(video value), then used 2 video value pull up coupons, & 2 manufactures pull up coupons. Gotta love free stuff, especially diapers!

Anonymous said...

Oh, I made a dollar because of the SCR $3 rebate on the pullups : )

Anonymous said...

am i supposed to submit my rebates for october already? is there a deadline to submit rebates for that month? thanks!!

Kate said...

Nu uh! Are you guys using the $5/25 AND the $5/20 in the same transaction?! I haven't read the fine print.

Anyone know the link to the latest (not the one from May) coupon policy with scenarios?

Hi everyone, I just had my first really stupid cashier at Riteaid. It was bound to happen but i am still feeling very mad! I purchased some candy that was on sale and used coupons, I thought i forgot my $5 off $20 at home but it was in the car. So my first purchase was for $12.22 and i went back in and asked for a refund so that i could get more stuff and use my $5 coupon. I argued with the cashier for quite awhile because she wanted to refund me $12.22 minus $4 for the coupons ( she wanted to give me back $8.00 when I paid $12.22). She finally caleed another cashier that refunded me $11.94 I was told the difference was tax that I do not get back and that I could not get my coupons back either. When I got home I called the 800 number to complain about the rudeness and to my surprise I got another rude person, who told me coupons are free money that i cannot get back, she said that i just lose them. I told her that riteaid is still getting reimbursed so I should get the coupons back! I was not asking for the money. She said this is their policy. I think this is really stupid and am going to look for another way to complain. They are gonna get the coupon money for their company and I don't even get the full amount I paid back. Please tell me what you think?
