Does the catalina print out at stores other than Walmart? What does the catalina say?

I bought it earlier this week, and it wasn't on clearance, but I still got it for $3. A great housewarming gift (along with many other goodies) for my sister and brother-in-law.

Ellne...it is just Walgreens (not Walmart)

It is the 8 cup one only that I saw on clearance. Not the 6 cup one in the picture.

My Walgreens here in Phoenix, AZ didn't have the pitcher system marked down at all...it was still $21.99. They did have the faucet system on clearance for $8.99. I used the $5 coupon and got back a $3 RR.

I wasn't able to find the coupon - I did the pledge and nothing happened with a coupon.

I was able to score a sweet deal on L'oreal Bare Naturale mineral makeup kits. It was the foundation, blush and finisher kits normally $19.99 marked down to $9.99. Then I had $2 off coupons (for any L'oreal makeup) making them $7.99 each. And at the register they rang up BOGO! So I ended up only paying $3 each! Plus there were coupons on the lids of each box for more deals. One Walgreens in town had these 50% off but the other didn't. Not sure why but I love this makeup!

The Brita's are being discontinued. Which means you will not be able to get filters for them. Walgreens also has a big appliance sale going on. Just got a Black and Decker programmable coffee maker and and a 3.5 qt slow cooker for $13.00.

My Walgreens had one left of the Brita Rivera Model. The price tag said $31.99 but $15.99 was hand written on it in red marker. It scanned for $31.99 but the cashier changed the price to $15.99. So I got the $32 pitcher for $8 after coupon and RR. I compared the price to Wal-Mart to make sure I was getting a deal and that model sells there for $34. I'm happy because I REALLY prefer the taste of filtered water!!!

They were not on clearance in Dallas. I had the cashier scan it and it was the full price still :( bummer!

Worked out great for me here in Florida, I gave my coupon to my mother in law who wanted to buy one for her daughter for Christmas so she was pleased when she paid only 4.00 dollars and got back 3 dollars in rewards. Nice cheap Christmas gift!!!

I found the Brita Pitchers. The clearance tag read $14.99 but they rang up $7.99. With the $5 coupon and the $3 catalina that printed out the pitcher was free if you don't count tax.

Great Find!!!

moname has a good point. Will you even be able to buy filters for those pitchers if they are beign discouintinued?

A little off topic - about 3 months ago I went to pick up a carseat off of craigslist from a guy, he and his wife were having a yard sale when I got there. I looked around but didn't plan on spendning money as we are on a tight budget.

Well, I saw what appeared to be an old 12 gallon humidifier. I asked him what it was and he said it was a humidifier and I can have it for 10 dollars as they need to sell everything. I declined at first as my first concern was being able to buy filters for it. He insisted I could still get them at Sears and he was not sure how old the model was.

Long story short - I bought it as it was only ten bucks and with a then 7 month old and being pregnant and due in Janurary and winter coming I figured I would trust him.

Best ending ever!!! About 3 weeks ago we decided it was time to use the humidifer for our home and we looked up the model and found the filters online avail. at the sears stores for only $20.00. Best thing is my husband had checked to see if that model was still available in the store for sale and it was: For $160.00!!! WOW awesome deal - I got it for $10 + $25 for new filters = $35 and it works like new!!

Anyways - being able to buy things like filters is a concern even I worry about when buying things being discontinued or that have been discontinued. I got lucky here on this buy!

I work as a vendor who goes into Walgreens. I was told by a manager that the reason some of the stores have the Britas marked down and other do not is because they are changing what the will be carried in some stores. The stores that are marking these down will be revising their stores in the future but are clearing out some of the merchandise they will not be carrying and spreading the hooks/shelves out to make it look like they still have lots of merchandise. There ar currently lots of great markdowns in the older Walgreens right now.

Here's another deal at Walgreens I didn't know about. The Oragel toddler toothpaste is on sale BOGO. The price was 3.79 and I had $1 internet coupon. (I can't remember where I printed it from, possibly the Oragel site.) They come out to $1.40 each. According to the tag on the self, the sale goes through Saturday.

Phoenix 5:35 PM. I called two or three nearby Walgreens. One said they had some yesterday, but they were all gone. All the others had them for regular price. It was a Walgreens in a less affluent part of town that had the clearanced items that were gone. I asked at two other stores today. I was told that "clearance" was stashed away until after Christmas.

Where do you all find the clearance items in walgreens? is it in the end caps? I also went to walgreens they had them at 21.99

There are 2 different pitchers that is why some are $7.99 and some are ringing up at $21.99. My store told me that they are trying to make room for the Holiday liquor. I didn't know that Wags carried liqour anymore! Oh well. If you can't get the filters you could always use the pitcher for ice tea! :)

I went to Walgreens tonight after my sons doctor appointment and was able to buy the faucet filters with the 4.00 brita coupon. I had gone in looking for the pitchers but only found the faucet fileters. The coupon did not beep and went throught OK but when I got home I read the extra one I had left and realized it was for the pitcher or faucet mount system. I paid $1.17 after coupon then received a $3.00 RR for each one.

If it helps the Brita Pitcher on sale is actually square shaped not round like the one pictured. It's the 8 cup Riviera model.
Called 8 stores in Southern California and the 9th store finally had it! It was the last one on clearance for $8.49 (-$5.00 Brita coupon) total came out to be $4.23 b/c of CA's insane tax rate.

The $3 RR will print out for all Brita models at WAGS. This will make a great xmas gift!

I suggest all you ladies call ahead to avoid wasting ur time & gas. Happy hunting! =)

can't get coupon to down load...have tried many times, keeps asking me to install coupon printer....

I went to Walgreens and found the last two 8 cup pitchers they had.
I paid .49 each after the coupons plus tax. OOP is 1.00 for each.
Each receipt generated a 3.00 coupon for Walgreens and a 3.00 coupon for the filters.

Thanks for the heads up.

Worked for me-
Pitcher $8.49 - $5 Q. Then $3RR!!! Thanks so much!

So far only been able to locate one of the 8 cup one, and it was $15.99, sill bought it. After the Q and RR, $7 is not a bad price for something that was originally $34. I have found several 6 cup ones.

I am still hunting. Only one can hope that I can get the good deal for $.49!! I wish I would have known about this when I was in FL last week, sounds like they have them there, LOL!!

I found one Brita pitcher on clearance for $7 today at my Walgreens. It doesn't specify the size, but it's the one that fits in the refrigerator door. After using the $5 mfg. coupon and receiving the $3 RR, they "paid" me to take it off their hands! Love it! Thanks for all your hard work. Your blog is the best for the Wags deals.
