Anybody know what coupons in the Flu $100 coupon book?
I have a question. When a coupon says "one coupon per purchase" in the fine print, does this mean only one coupon per each item or only one one coupon per transaction? I have seen this alot on coupons and am wondering if this limits the number of products in a purchase that you can use coupons on.
Hi Anon 2!
Per purchase is per item, not per transaction.
You can get, for example, four shampoos, and use four like manu. coupons that say "per purchase" in a single transaction.
Thanks, Mei! Appreciate the answer.
I just came back from CVS, I got 2 shampoos, 2 cond., 1 softsoap pump, 1 refill, and 1 dawn essentials. Paid .65 cents after Q's, $5 for taking taking survey and $2 ECB, and plus, I got the "season to save" catalog. SCORE!!!

OK, I've got a question on the "per purchase" line as well. I just got back from Walgreens where I had a coupon for a free Herbal Essences styler with the purchase of a shampoo or conditioner. I also had a coupon for a free Herbal Essences conditioner. The manager and I went round and round about what per purchase meant because I used two coupons on two different products. Is the reason I was given so much trouble because they were both Herbal Essences products. She told me Walgreens now considers what i was doing coupon fraud and I find that ridiculous.
Oh, the reason I'm asking about this is because I want to go to CVS and use the B1G1 free coupons and the $3 off coupon for the Quench body lotion that will get me 5 ecb.
I've had a similar experience with Walgreens. I was purchasing two pregnancy test (same one) and had two coupons. Their machine beeped and the cashier read the coupon said, "you only use one coupon per purchase". So I said yes, I know, but I have two and he said it means per transaction. So I asked him to ring them up seperately. It was a big deal and the manager had to get involved, but I finally got it. I will not shop there again. It's just not worth the hassle or my time.
My CVS will let me do it and I've never had a problem. I love CVS!!

When a Q states "one per purchase, it is saying that you can only use one coupon per item. You are purchasing 1 of each, so you have a total of 2 items and that means 2coupons may be used. If it were one coupon per transaction, you would need to purchase them separately in order to use the coupons.
Are the Ensembles RIB Qs CVS coupons or MF coupons? If they are CVS coupons they will probably beep if you try to use 2 in one transaction. Those coupons always beep for me when I try to use more than one at a time since they do state limit one coupon per customer on them.
I just got back from CVS and purchased a 2 pack of Fruitopia shampoo/conditioner priced at $5/2. So you can get $1/4 instead of $1/2 =D
I agree Kanfish, I hate walgreens and refuse to shop there. I like the cashiers at my CVS much better than walgreens, plus the manager at my walgreens is an idiot.
There is a Walgreens on every one mile corner where I live. I agree that there are some crazy Walgreen employees out there, but there are also some great ones. I've learned which stores are coupon friendly and which are not. One manager at one Walgreens approached me and told me he "loves" coupon shoppers in his store. Whenever I need something, I can special order in advance. He is great. He treats me well. Sorry if you can't pick and chose your store. Mine has been a trial and error thing since they got rid of register rewards which I liked a lot better. It allowed me to shop quickly and be anonymous with my savings.
I got my Soft Soap Base and Refill free when I count my register rewards. I used a buy one base and get one refill, manfacturers coupon (Value 3.99). I used a $1.00 of any Soft Soap Product, Manufacturers Coupon. I found it in a booklet at Safeway. It expires 11-30-09. I used the CVS Coupon 2/1 from Reinventing Beauty Magazine, and the CVS Coupon 1/1 from the Flue Magazine. Total Out of Pocket 4.00 plus tax. ECBS Back 4.00. That coupon booklet at Safeway had a lot of great coupons--$1.50 Sucret and about five other coupons. I found it on the beginning of the health and beauty aisle. I think it was called the October Catalog.
I asked nicely for the Flu coupon book and was told by the pharmacist that it was for people with Medicare D? Anyone else have this problem?
My CVS pharmacy gave me one of the 100 dollars off Flu book, no problem. In the CVS ad that came out w/ them, it says no purchase necessary. Also, on another website someone said that they emailed corporate to ask if they had to get the flu shot and they were told no-just ask.
Just went to CVS this morning and if any of their CVS-specific coupons say "one coupon per customer", the machine will not let it go through. You can use the $2/1 coupon from the beauty mag. and then the $1/1 from the flu book together, but not 2 of the same CVS coupon in one transaction. I didn't think quick enough on my feet to pull out the flu book coupon, but I was able to score an extra base for free by using the "get base free" peelie coupon right on the pump combo. I also used the $3/1 and the $2/1, so I guess it was okay.
