I have some exciting new for all you CVS shoppers! There's a new $5 off $20 CVS in-store printable coupon available! However, accessing the coupon is a bit more complicated then usual, but I promise it will be well worth it!;)
Follow these directions:
- Go here and type CVS in the search box in the upper left hand side.
- Hit search and you'll be redirected to a new page and you should see a banner ad. This rectangular ad is located at the top of the site.
- Keep hitting refresh/reload until you see a CVS ad that says "Peel to Save".
- I saw 2 CVS ads, so make sure to refresh the screen until you see the one that says "Peel to Save".
- Click on the ad and start peeling!
- After you're done, wait a minute and you should see a spot on the right side of the banner in a yellow circle that says "Print Your Coupon Now!"
- Click on it and you'll be able to print your very own $5 off $20 CVS coupon with an expiration date of 12/31/09! Yay!

When you do the search, it says no match found, but if you look at the banner at the top, you will see an ad for CVS. I had to refresh once to get it to come up - it says "peel here" and you have to roll over some boxes and the coupon is on the bottom.
Do advertisers lay awake at night thinking of these things?! Mercy! Next we'll have to stand on our heads and jump through hoops to get a coupon. LOL! I was able to get the coupon. Just keep "peeling" down to the bottom "layer". Don't bother trying to print more than once. "Big Brother" knows you already did.

The search results do not matter. After searching for CVS, you should see a banner ad image at the top of th screen. Keep refreshing until you see the CVS ad that says "Peel and Save"

I hit refresh twice and it came up. Banner Ad on the top of the page, just move your mouse around until all the peelies are gone adn print. Limited to one per computer.
You need to type in C space V space S. Then keep hitting refresh and it will appear.

This is a one time use coupon with a unique barcode. If you try to use the same coupon more than one, it will beep saying it was already used. If you want more with unique barcodes, you must delete browser cookies and go thru the process of getting to the coupon again. Or print from a different computer.

Hit the yellow button that says print coupon. I had the same trouble but it worked when I hit the button. HTH.
I noticed at the top of the coupon it said Longs Drugs is now CVS/pharmacy. I was just wondering if this coupon will be good at all CVS stores or if it's a coupon just for a specific area. I don't want to be accused of trying to use an ivalid coupon.
Got the coupon. Was at the very top of page. Just peel & then print.
I had to do the peel thing twice to get the print page to come up. So if you have trouble just start over and the second time around you should be able to print it out.
I was able to print off multiple coupons with unique barcodes by disabling my cookies. Make sure you print plenty for black Friday!

Got it! Thanks, was easy :) However, you can only print one per computer. Deleting the browser cookies and retrying (like a previously poster mentioned), does not work. You will never see that particular CVS banner ad again, even after deleting cookies. So you'll need to do this from a different computer(s) for additional coupons.

I hope they take this coupon at the store. The CVS logo at the bottom of the coupon looks smudgy when it's printed so it's looks a little hokey.
I'm not getting anything, just a orange panel with the word "SUNSET". Refreshing does not help. No banner ad shows.

Try Internet Explorer if you don't see a banner. I didn't see anything at first when I used Mozilla Firefox.

For anyone having trouble with this (like I did) . . . it took forever, seemed to get stuck on various non-CVS ad campaigns (Airwick, hotels, everything but CVS) and no amount of refreshing helped. But persistence paid off. Kept going back in from link and starting C V S search over & FINALLY got a different CVS ad that started a CVS ad cycle, which brought up the peelie ad. So keep trying! I have a question about ECB. If I have $10 in ECB and I only purchase $5 worth of items, will the machine spit out a $5 ECB to make up for the ECB I didn't use or do I have to use the whole $10 ECB? Thanks!

It took me a couple of times, I have to say this site, Hip to Save, is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quick tips for success on this one:
1. Use the direct link posted above, it works instantly without "refreshing".
2. Use ONLY IE or Safari, Firefox isn't working well with this coupon.
3. Once you've opened the page, right click on settings. Slide the scale all the way down to "0", so no info is stored on your computer from CVS, this will insure that each coupon you print will have it's own unique bar code.

I had to do it twice (the first time it took me to a "store locator" page) but it did print. Warning: it prints with TONS of red and black ink - the whole page!!!

Hipchik47, you won't be able to use the same barcode more than once (unless you have a cashier who would manually put it through after it beeps--but technically not supposed to).
To get multiple copies of this you would have to print from multiple computers.

When you are able to print off more than one do you take the quiz again?
Took me a long time of refreshing for it to come up. Putting spaces between CVS helped me, too. When you do that, there is also another banner ad on the side to watch for, so you have two chances of it popping up, rather than one.
This was wonderful! I didn't see it at first and it kept saying no results for CVS but it was actually on the banner and as I peeled back each coupon, I found it hiding underneath! YAY!!! Thankyou so much for sharing!
I finally got it, had to download firefox, then printed it, then uninstalled firefox after. Took me 2 days, but got it, finally!
Man that sucks down a lot of ink! But probably not 5 dollars worth

If you follow the directions exactly, it comes up. This probably indicates i need to get out more, but it was kind of fun -- nice to not just be handed a coupon without thought. Not that i'd want to do this every time. :)
You need to click the yellow print button on the coupon bar after you've peeled the layers -- if you click the red bar, you just get the store locator.

I printed it off through Firefox, but the image is blurry, so tried Internet Explorer. The Firefox print out has a barcode, but IE does not. Think I'll stick w/the blurry print out.

I'm pretty sure these are printing without a barcode now because the coupon has been pulled. I printed several a few days ago and all of mine have barcodes. I personally would not attempt to use one without a barcode.

Sad! I found the coupon and when I clicked the yellow button, a message popped up saying, "The coupon can only be printed once."
Why do some websites tell me I've already printed things when I *KNOW* I haven't!? I understand that sometimes the "Print limit has been reached for this campaign" or "Prints are no longer available." But when the site tells me I can't print again because I supposedly did, I don't know how that happens! I am the only one using this computer (no kids & my husband does not go around printing off coupons)!
