Any ideas on whether this is east coast or west coast time zone on 12/1? Just wondering if I'll need to get up early to score this deal!

Anonymous said...

I looked and the company is based out of Ohio, which is EST. It should be up by now if they were going to start it at midnight.

Anonymous said...

Tomorrow is the 30th, not the 1st

Anonymous said...

Man this site has to give there stuff away free because nobody would actually deal with there site and pay! Talk about technical difficulties. And it doesn't start till tuesday....

Anonymous said...

I got mine all ready to Go.. I hope I dont forget about this by Tuesday. And I hope it works. Thanks!!

Dec 1st is my 30th b-day! Bagging this deal would be a fun start to my day! How do you know what item to set up? I doesn't seem really clear what items they are offering. Does anyone have a link to more info on the deal? Thanks:)

CAN I ONE HELP ME WHERE IS THE WORD WRITTEN "PHOTOWORKS GRAHPHIC" I DID'NT FIND ON THE HOME PAGE...

Unknown said...

I just called photoworks customer support to find out what time the promotion was going to start, and if you had to have the projects already created to get the $25 coupon code. The CS rep didn't know anything about this promotion. It sounds like a great promotion, but I'm not sure I want to risk taking the time to create something and then have the promotion not happen. Do you think the photoworks reps might not know about this promo yet?

Tara S said...

the promotion is through american greetings. so go to that site first and i am assuming when it starts at midnight there will be a new graphic stating the sale...right now it is for buy 1 holiday card pack get 1 free. it is a good idea to make this gifts and just save them to your creations if you want to get in on it cause last time their site got slammed and couldnt take it. right now the photo clutch books are on sale for 5.00 with shipping it comes to 9.69. i would not pay that for a little 4 inch book. but i made it and its ready to be free hopefully.

Anonymous said...

Photoworks might have other deals and freebies when the current ones expire. It's probably a good idea to at least have photos uploaded, and maybe even make a couple of projects so they're ready to go. I made a clutch book and a calendar, and saved them to my account so I can order them quickly.

Anonymous said...

From my understanding the coupon is good until 12/15 so you don't have to order right away. You just have to get the code right away.

Kristine in WA said...

Its up right now (904PM PST) and the option is for either the cards, the clutch book, the calendar OR $25 credit. Not all 3 items or the $25 credit. Still a great deal nevertheless.

I got it! 10pm MST

YAY!!!! I snagged a calender! Super excited to see it and give it to my parents as a gift for Christmas from their Grandson!

Where are you all clicking on the page to get this? I am on the americangreetings site and don't see a link yet--but people are saying they've clicked it.

Help, please!

Unknown said...

Free Shipping was included!!! Such an awesome deal. I ordered a calendar for a gift!

I have the right page for the code, but the spot where ithe code is supposed to show is blank! I think I'm going to cry.

Anonymous said...

Worked Great Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Got my code!!!!

Kara said...

For those having trouble seeing it, I didn't see the link using Firefox, but did in Internet Explorer and Chrome. Also, they only allow one code per computer.

Anonymous said...

How is everyone getting the code? I clicked the graphics on the right side of the American Greetings page which takes me to Photoworks home page, but there is nothing there to direct me to the code. I added my email at the bottom of the home page and checked me email for a code, but nothing. I feel so stupid and I've got my books ready to go. Can someone explain further on how to find the code?

Anonymous said...

I took the advice and opened up Internet Explorer and stopped trying this in Firefox and ordered the book I made earlier today. Thanks Collin and to everyone who gave tips...does this mean we all can go to bed NOW??? HAHAHHA! :-)

hmmm so they are not unique codes? this is going to get ugly i can just feel it.

Mrs Save Alot said...

this place can not get out of its own way

Anonymous said...

Oh my goodness. I thought they would be specific unique codes just for our email address, yet I too got kicked offline and when going back to the American Greeting site I found that they are only posting 4 different codes, one for ea of the 4 gift options. Each code begins as C373387 & ends with 4 otherdigits,
Code 7579 = $25 Off any photogift -Code 9796 = 20 pg Clutch book -
Code 8476 = 11x8 Photo Calendar -
Code 2365 = 25 Holiday Pic Cards.
I really hope they dont shut this down as they have no idea of how many people are going to be doing this.

Anonymous said...

do you have to pay shipping for the clutch or calendar?

Anonymous said...

Yes, Only 4 Codes are being given.
C3733847579 for $25 Off photo gift
C3733858476 for 11 x 8 Calendar
C3733859796 for 20 pg Clutch book
C3733852365 for 25 Holiday cards

Anonymous said...

THE OFFER SAYS: If you choose one of the first 3 actual Photo gift options, the Clutch or the Calendar or 25 Holiday Cards, that Shipping is INCLUDED in the order.
IF you choose the $25 Off good on any other Photo Gift Option of your choosing, then I guess you pay the shipping. But their website now advertises Free Ship Code of EARLYBIRD . So might as wel try to see if that will work.

Tara S said...

wow...they are going to get robbed! lol how can they do this! they are going to regret it in about 10 mins!

Anonymous said...

Tara, I used your code and it took off 16.95 in my cart for the clutch book, but did not remove shipping and tax. I thought this was a totally free deal. Did the code remove the shipping and tax on your order?

Anonymous said...

Wouldn't apply the coupon to my book I had already made, had to make it all over again! What a pain ;)

Anonymous said...

Anon 11:47 - Thanks so much for posting codes. I ordered the book for totally free using the book code.

Tara S said...

the card one is only takin shipping off for mine...something isnt right

Unknown said...

it said it was supposed to cover the item and the shipping...ugh...this deal lasted less than an hour and they are already crashing!

Anonymous said...

Tara: I did this several times trying to figure it out also and apparently, you need to get the really, really cheap cards to get the cards and the s&h totally free. hth!

Anonymous said...

Anyone know exactly what cards to get?

Unknown said...

This is Tara....no I used the more expensive cards and it went through...i was trying to get my brother to get them shipped to his house so i wouldnt have to buy any photo cards but now its not working pooo

Erin said...

Thanks, my order for a calendar went through fine. I chose the basic one, so I only had to choose 12 photos. I waited until I had the code and then went through the order. Took 5 min!!
Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I ordered a set of cards and a clutch book using two different computers with two different emails. However, they're going to the same address. Any idea if this will be a problem?

I'm so tempted to get a calendar as well!

Anonymous said...

I think the code only works on certain clutch book. I made one book earlier this morning, but the code will only take off Shipping. I made another clutch book and the code works - taking both shipping + the price of the book making the total $0. Finally, I got the clutch book. Thanks Hip !

Tara S said...

wow they are really screwy....i changed from the phot cards to a book and the photo card coupon code works for the books too lol

Tara S said...

ok i ordered my book and ordered my victorias secret. i am going to bed....before hubby kills me :P i hope everyone can still get this deal tomorrow!

Anonymous said...

Hey, I finally scored and got 6 free duplicate clutch books. I ordered the "personalized" clutch book that I set up earlier this evening, and shared it with the different family emails who also have photoworks accounts. When the free book went live, I got six books ordered in 15 minutes using Code C3733859796 for totally free books. Wowhoo! So happy I got in this deal. Thanks Hip for sharing this great deal.

Anonymous said...

Thank you very much for this! I appreciate the heads up and it will help my Xmas out very much!

Anonymous said...

SCORE!!!! I got 15 duplicates clutch books, plus 4 other duplicate clutch books, so total of 19! Plus, I also used the $25 off for 1 of the big books from last week that I did not get in in time. So, I am VERY happy! Thanks, hip! BTW the codes are all the same for the certain gifts!

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:18 - I ordered 6 books using different emails but all going to the same mailing address and same recipient name. Did not have a problem placing these orders.

Anonymous said...

its only to the first 20,000 ordered using these codes. yes codes are good till mid dec, but wont be any good here in another hour or two. sux for those who arent already using it now. by 8 am all will be gone for sure with some getting 20 at a time. Just glad i got my 1 calander for mom.

nancy said...

anon at 12:54,

what will you do with 19 of the same clutch books? just wondering.

nancy said...

i meant 12:51 not 54

Anonymous said...

I was wondering that as well :)

Unknown said...

Yeah, not so sure I would be proud to have used this for so many multiples. That takes away from a LOT of other people who would like to take advantage of this deal...

Anonymous said...

I made clutch books for my kids... and duplicates for their birth parents. Yay ! Thanks Collin!

Anonymous said...

I made 19,981 clutch books. Anon 12:51 got the rest. Sorry guys! LOL!

Anonymous said...

wow. . . i made one book of my son to put in his keepsake box. . . . 20 of the same book? Hope you have a big family or something.

Anonymous said...

I've heard clutch books are the new Christmas cards!

Lynn said...

I'm sure there are people posting about extreme quantities that they snagged just to get a rise out of people, well guess what???

Here is your freakin rise!!!!

You are ridiculous for taking away the chance for so many other people to get theirs. Were you a spoiled brat growing up? Did you get everything x5 that you whined to mommy and daddy about? So sick of these people and so sad that such a great thing would bring out the nasty selfish in people. Clear and simple view on the direction the world is headed. Share people!

(LOL @ Anon 3:33)

Anonymous said...

It isn't going to be difficult for American Greetings to figure out what's going on with multiple orders. They'll either get cancelled or the company won't offer such great deals in the future.

Mrs Save Alot said...

I am not even going to bother ordering mine because these will get cancelled,no doubt. This happened with See Here photo christmas balls too, and happened with this company with the Photo Books. I ordered a Photo Book that has been "delayed" and I only ordered 1, so no risk of dups. Anyway. good luck guys, I hope you get them if you are ordering the specified amount. To the anon ordering 19...if in fact you really ordered 19, gluttony.

Anonymous said...

The coupon code worked when I did the Hopes and Dreams Photo Clutch book.

Anonymous said...

Hi Ladies, so here is what I am doing with 19 books:
- Book 1 - 4 coppies: this has pictures of my children for 3 grandmas christmas gifts

- Book 2 - 15 copies: I teach developmental preschool (children with disabilities ages 3-5)for the school district in town. We had a Halloween party and I took a picture of every child wearing their costumes. We also had a class picture that day. So, I made 1 book, duplicated 14 times, and ordered so I can give each child one, along with the Mr. Potato Head (I got 15 for 1.99, thanks Hip!) for their Christmas Gift!

They will love it and for many of them these might the the only gifts they will get this year.

Anonymous said...

And, Ladies who complained about my order, you can judge me was much as you want. I really don't care! I am happy to be able to give this gift to my little students. If I could afford, I would buy 1 for each, but I cannot.

And seriously, ladies, 19 out of 20000 is really nothing! All orders have been confirmed, and weather they will go through or not, I am not sure. However, than again, when I bought the Mr. Potato Head for each of my students they did not think it would go through, and it did.

Maybe it is the good luck of a good cause!

Lets open our hearts during this season!

I hope all of you got your freebies, 1, 3, 200 of them!

Merry Christmas!

Anonymous said...

And Lynn, seriously, I hope you can get over all this hatred in your heart! Holy cow, your post is the definition of hostility! And honestly, I do not care about what you say or think about me. I cannot wait until I see their little smiles when they get this special little book!

No, I was not raised as a "brat" but I was certainly raised with manners different than yours. I was taught to make others happy and share. I am sorry if me sharing these books with my little preschoolers offend you so much. I am sure they will be grateful!

Anonymous said...

Greedy is greedy.

It doesn't matter if your selections are for grandparents or for disabled kids.

You and your ilk simply decrease the possibility of companies doing deals like this in the future.

Clearly, this company is willing to eat $500,000.00 in free merchandise to potentially get 20K new customers....not to give you *mulitple* cheap Christmas gifts for your relatives and class.

Taking 19 simply disallowed 18 other families to get this freebie.

They probably won't...but I would ROLMAO if they cancelled your order.
Merry Christmas :)

Anonymous said...

The way I see it 15 families are being blessed with the books she ordered. Would it be any different if each of the 15 parents had ordered it themselves? The books are not for her, and I am not sure about you, but as a parent I would love to get a keepsake like this, without even have had the trouble to order it myself. You see it as greedy, I see it as thoughtful.

Anonymous said...

I agree...that's not right! 2 or 3 maybe but 19, that's just wrong.

Anonymous said...

Despite the wishes of some unhappy ladies, all the books shipped! I will have some very happy preschoolers, and that'a all that matters!

I am so bummed... I just tried to order my 25 free Christmas cards and of course, due to those who ordered mass quantities individually, I wasn't able to use my code. I used to teach and that is really nice of you to do for your students, however it is people like you who end up ruining current and future deals for the rest of us.

Mrs Save Alot said...

got my little book today and I have to say it is adorable. the quality is great, the pictures are great and I love it...i would order from them again and again for photo books. they make a great product.
