Does anyone know the size on these bottles? One of the $1.00 coupons I have states on the 500ML size. Thanks!

Is there anyway to download the BOGO 8/2SS coupon for the Listerine?

cent_saving_mom said...

Yup you'd get 12 bottles and these did not appear to be the tiny bottles that I've seen previously. Thanks for linking to the deal. :)

OH man.. i didnt start couponing until after that.. I hate when this happens..

For those of us new at the couponing, and who do not have the old SS coupons, we can still buy 3 of the doublepacks ($12), use three of the $1.00 off coupons that Megan linked, and get a $5.00 off Target card, making each of the 6 bottles .67 each + tax. Still a good deal in my book.

since the deal is until the 22nd you have plenty of time to order the coupons! try ebay or thecouponclippers.com

I am confused as to what it means when you write use such and such coupon (3/15SS, 6/14SS) what does that mean?

Anonymous said...

(3/15SS, 6/14SS) means the March 15, 2009 Smart Source insert and the June 14, 2009 Smart Source insert that was in the papers.

I have a question. Off topic but not sure where else i can ask. What about the things you never see coupons for.. like Q tips... ? We go thru those a lot and they are exp.. lol.. sorry.. not coupons have made me very frugal.

I have used the Johnson and Johnson $1 off to get q-tips for 23 cents!

I Heart Coupon deals

The bottles are both 500 ml. My coupon says 500ml or larger, so it would work on these no matter how the cashier interpreted the coupon.

I have never been able to use a BOGO coupon with another coupon to use for the one that I am buying. I have tried it at Target, Walgreens, and Walmart. They all have said that you can't do it because there are suppose to be 2 items attached to the BOGO coupon. I have explained that I am buying the first one with the $1 off coupon and getting the 2nd one free with the BOGO coupon. They have all said I couldn't do it. So kudos to all you who can get the cashier to push this through.

Anonymous said...

KB how have you done that. They are not made by Johnson and Johnson.

Anonymous said...

johnson & johnson make their own q tips. there are always lots of j&j coupons out there. hth!

I just came back from my Target (not a super Target) and I didn't see any double packs or anywhere listed they were $3.99 and to purchase 3 you get a $5 gift card. Is this only certain Targets? I'm in MI. Thanks

I hope they have this going at my Target. I've been hording the gift cards to use for Christmas shopping. I plan on using them for some PS3 games for my son. With the $10 off coupon and my gift cards, I'll be getting 2 just released games for less than 20 bucks. Yay Me!!!!!

I just got back from my Target (VA) and this deal was not going on. They do however, have the Halloween stuff 75% off now. I took all of my candy Qs that hadn't exp. and bought several bags for $0.49 each! Also got 8 boxes of cereal but was not able to use a MQ or a TQ on the free items. Oh well, still only approx. $1 for each box and they all started out over $3 a box. Also got 3 Wii games for $20, less than $7 each! Best of all - NO coupon problems!!!!!!! Yeah for great cashier!

No double packs at my Target, which would have been fine if the gift card deal would have worked. All six scanned, no gift card alert. Voided before using my coupons...
I have definitely been able to use a BOGO to get one free, and then another coupon off the one I'm buying, so hopefully this deal will start next week :)

No double packs of Listerine at Target in Tulsa. They didn't even have singles of the Cool Blue or Smart Rinse.

Had lots of fun on the 75% off Halloween Isle. Great bargains for grandchildren next year, tops and leggings, $1.24 each, Halloween books approx $1.50-$2.00, Oreos .25 with $1/2 coupons. Go Target!

RE: Q tips. Not to be a party pooper, but remember generics from the dollar stores and your local grocer are pretty darn cheap all the time. I see them all over town, usually 300 for 99¢. Coupons are good, but IMO the true frugal lifestyle doesn't always include name brands! I only mention this since OP said she uses a lot of them. HTH.

Anonymous said...

what does HTH mean?

never mind. i got it : Hope that Helps

No double packs of listerine at Target in Clackamas Oregon and no sign about gift cards. may be regional, even though I did not know Target had regional promotions.

love your site!

Re: Q-Tips there was a 0.30/1 coupon in womans day magazine. but .30 doesn't make too much difference.

Unknown said...

There is sometimes a .30 off q-tips coupon and in the target insert a few weeks back there was a target coupon for .75 off q-tips which you could stack for 1.05 off.

I hate to ask a dumb question, but where are people getting the target coupons from? I looked on the target web site and saw the gorcery coupons, and I got the link from here a couple of days ago about the holiday coupons they have, but I am curious where people are getting actual printed coupons. I get the target brand up and up coupons in the mail but that is it.

Anonymous said...

nevermind, I just found the target coupon info on another page in your blog so I am all squared away. ;-)

has this deal worked for anyone???!!

Anonymous said...

This deal worked for me in the Twin Cities...HOWEVER...it was unadvertised. And, I had to look all over for the ones that were only $3.99. The ones in the mouthwash isle were 5 something. Anyway, I had all but given up when I spotted them on an end cap up by the registers. They were not double packs, but they included free dixie cups with the mouthwash. Anyway, I bought 4. Used 2 B1G1 coupons and 2 $1 coupons and then I got the $5 gift card. So, by my calculations, I got all 4 bottles (with cups) for $1.

Here in CA the prices are always sooo much higher. The cheapest listerine I could find was $4.99. Same problem on the scrubbing bubbles deal...ours was $3.99, not $2.99. Bummer.

definitely not in all areas :(

Here in Las Vegas I found the Listerine not with the regular bottles but with the kids toothbrushes and next to the floss an isle over. We didn't have the double packs but the packs with a free pack of dixie cups. There was no price listed but I price checked it first to make sure it was part of the deal. Thanks Collin! I've been looking at these coupons for months wondering if they'd ever be worth hanging onto.
