Numerous readers are having issues with being able to stack a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together on one item. Well, the good news is that Target's coupon policy clearly states that you can use both coupons together on one item. Their policy also states that if the value of the coupon is higher then the value of the item, then they can adjust the coupon down. Plus, their coupon policy in now available to view online here! Yay! Print it off and keep it with you every time you shop at Target. You also may want to read more about the coupon issues people have been encountering and what can be done about it here.
**Also, Target is now giving a $0.05 credit for each reusable bag you use when checking out! I'm excited about this. It's just another great way we'll be able to save at Target. I would call ahead to make sure your local Target is participating.

Hi,where is it listed about the glade deal that I can see. I went to 2 different targets this weekend and did that deal but they only gave me 1 $5 gift card back. I bought the refills and the tins at one and refills and glass holders at the other. If Im supose to get 2 cards I will say something but I need to see it somewhere. There was no signs in front at either store. thanks so much.
I went to Target (MN) yesterday to get the Glade deal because my q's were expiring & they were all out. As I was checking out at guest services The associate stated that they will take expired q's & if the cashier gas a problem get a manager. I finally price matched there & I got 4 boxes of cereal plus overage!
I believe the problems we are having with target is that the target coupons state "one per transaction", so you cannot use multiple target coupons for the same exact items. Therefore you would have to do multiple transactions if you plan to buy multiples of the same exact items and use the target coupons. This way doesn't always work out to free or very cheap deals.
The Glade Sense n Spray Printable coupons - it says there are no more prints left for it. Sorry.
Nicole:
Check your products at a scanner. If there is a $5 GC it will tell you.
I went to Target yesterday and did the Glade deal. I bought 5 Christmas scents refills and got my $5 GC. They didn't have any Christmas candle tins out yet, but I'm gonna check back. When I checked the regular candle tins at the scanner the $5 deal didn't show. It shows with the Christmas scents.
Last comments had typos! Sorry! Whether you are able to use multiple Target coupons depends on your cashier. I have not had an issue with it so far. I even used multiples at the Guest Service counter yesterday to get my Free cereal.
My Target lets me stack, but they quit letting me use more than one Target Q per transaction on the same items - for instance, I can't use 4 Target Q's on the Kelloggs deal unless I buy them in 4 separate transactions, which means I can't get any rewards for getting all four. I've pretty much given up on Target - my Publix is right next door!
If you are looking to do the CFL light bulbs deal there are also coupons here.... (IE) http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qaltfxb60506319&bt=vi&o=54159&c=GE&p=azZD12iY

Collin - Thank you so much for your site! I LOVE Target and feel I have saved so much money shopping there by using your site.
I haven't notice a lot of discussion about their pharmacy, but I only use Target pharmacy. They have those great coupons in their ads for gift cards on new (or transfered) prescriptions! Plus, they have the nicest pharmacists!
The last time i tried (months ago) using Target and Manufact coupon i was rejected. They even brought the manager and he said you could only use one. tisk!
I'm very new to the Target shopping and I'm still kind of confused as to how it works. It sounds like each store is different.
When getting in on the Buy X get 1 free. The cereal is buy 3 get one free..so you grab 4 and one would be free. Wouldn't you only be able to use 3 $1/1 manufacturer coupons on the ones you will be paying for? Or can you still use a coupon on an item that would be free?
And I haven't tried yet, but has anyone had trouble stacking a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on a product at Target? I'm just afraid of getting to the cashier and having the thing beep beep beep on a cart full of items.
But for the most part, I'm confused about using more than one coupon on a BOGO. Maybe if its an in store deal that does not require a coupon? Last time I used a buy shampoo and conditioner and get a styling product free. Plus I tried to use another coupon on the shampoo and conditioner I was buying to get the price down more but the register said no. She thought it was because she had already scanned the buy the shamp&conditioner man. coupon for that deal and wouldn't take another man for that deal. Makes sense..but she took it anyway.
Just want to do it right! LOL Any Target pros help I would love to hear! Thanks!
Where does everyone get the red plum and smart source coupons? From the paper or a mailer? I haven't ever seen either. I went to the store and checked our 2 major papers for the twin cities (MN) and neither had red plum or smart source inserts. I am new to the coupon thing and I just don't get this part. Thanks!
The one light bulb I got ($2/1) was marked $1.99. FREE BULB! I only printed one coupon b.c I read somewhere they weren't going through. It did beep but I am sure it's b.c it is less than the coupon amt.
Also the glade refills/tins are holiday scents only. My store only had the cinnamon and bayberry. Any other scent is NOT part of the gift card deal.
Jody- Not sure why you didn't get the red plum or smart source...check the Star Tribune and the Pioneer Press. They should have them in there. Just picked up mine and they had them!
You can only use 3 Target Kelloggs q's. The 4th one beeps and displays a message that it cannot be used on a free item.
Anon @ 11:16 ~
You should be able to use 4 q's. They still have to scan the 4th item.
I bought the Keebler cookies yesterday with a bunch of Target and manufacturer coupons. Actually the Target coupon said for 12.5 oz size and the size I got was 16 oz. (I went by the picture this time... lol). It went through.
Print out their coupon policy and bring it with you (I always reread mine before I check out). It clearly states that you can use a Target coupon and a Manufacturer coupon on the same item.
It depends on the cashier. I had a good one. Some items beeped, but she rang them through saying she saw the item. I will go to her from now on. Good Luck!
* Anyone feel free to correct me on this - I'm still learning too.
I haven't tried the cereal deal, but the Keebler cookies worked for me. I started not to even put them in my cart b/c they were the wrong sizes, but figured if the cashier wouldn't take the Target Qs that I would just get her to void them off.
I honestly don't know if they went through or if she pushed them through, but they were taken off. And I don't feel bad at all, because I bought larger sizes than were in the pic -- I don't really understand why they word things like that, anyway. It should be 12.5 oz. or greater. =)
Was the Keebler deal just last week or it is still good? Now that I know it works, I might have to go back for more for my extended family if I can!
Does anyone know how the markdowns go on all the Halloween stuff at Target and Hobby Lobby?
I don't know if anyone cares about this or not, but when we went to target the other day they catalina that came out manufact q)actually says RIGHT ON IT that it can be used with a target q. Proff right there on the catalina, cool.
Also, Lysol Freshmatic refill, in case you missed it at Walgreens last week is $4.49 this week. Minus $4 printable makes it 49 cents. And Wheat Thins are $2 so if you have any of the Wheat Thins printables from Kraft First Taste, they will be free.
You can SCORE Kraft Halloween marshmallows for $0.02 EACH. Yes, 2 cents each. They are on clearance for $0.52 and if you buy two, use the $1/2 Q from Target. AWESOME deal! My store in Florida had a ton of them, but who knows how long they will last.
Yes to those doing the Glade deal it is only the holiday scents and they only seem to have 2. Apple cinnamon and Bayberry. I went to several Targets and the same thing. As far as their coupon policy goes, you do not need to carry it with you. If they give you a hassle, ask for a manager. If the manager doesn't know, walk him/her over to the registry computer in the front of the stores and on the main page (not target.com) it will say store coupon policy. click that link and either let them read it there or hit print and then they HAVE to honor your coupons. I had this happen the other day. The cashier was a total jerk and I had to ask for the manager 3 times! (the cashier kept refusing to get him) Finally I got one to come over and he knew nothing so I showed him and he printed it for his records and the cashier read it but still would not do the deal so the manager took over! What a bunch of crap. I will be emailing corporate. But they will do it as it is right there for them to see on their own computer system!
Today I went to Target with my 4 target cereal coupons. The register said you can't use a coupon for a free item. I think it took the Manufacturer's coupon, though.
Jodi R:
I live in MN and I get the Star Tribune every Sunday at Dollar Tree for $1 a paper. I get a stack. They have all the inserts.
Tricia:
If you can stand the frustration, explain to your Target that each item scanned is a transaction, not each time you pay. That is how I understand it.
They can be predictable on their schedule, but each store kind of has their own way of doing things. For example, maybe at your store they start the women's clothing on Monday instead of Tuesday. No matter in what order they do it, they usually stick to the same routine. Always call before you go in, especially on holiday markdowns. Some stores mark down more quickly that others, so call before you go to make sure you don't waste a trip. I have noticed our stores here seem to vary each year.
Disclaimer: Please don't take this list literally. Use it as a reference point. Not all Targets mark things down in the same time frame. So don't blame me if you follow this list and it doesn't happen. Just take note of your store and watch what they do.
YEAR-ROUND: (note: this may vary from store to store, but this is the general rule)
Monday -- Infants department, Kids clothing and Electronics (maybe food also)
Tuesday -- Women's clothing, Domestics
Wednesday -- Men's clothing, Garden, Toys, Health and Beauty
Thursday -- Lingerie, Shoes, Housewares, Sporting Goods, Luggage
Friday -- Cosmetics, Hardware, Auto, Home Improvement and Jewelry
HOLIDAYS: All holidays except Christmas follow the 3-3-2 rule:
The first 3 days after the holiday are 50% off.
The next 3 days are 75% off.
The next 2 days are 90%.
After that it goes to salvage (Goodwill, Big Lots are two main places)
Valentines 3-3-2
Easter 3-3-2
4th of July 3-3-2
Halloween (since it's always on Oct. 31, the schedule stays the same) Nov 1st = 50% off Nov 4th = 75% off Nov 7th = 90% off
Thanksgiving 3-3-2
Christmas - varies.
I did the kelloggs deal today. The 4th target coupon beeped and the cashier didn't let me use it. So I went to the guest services and they put it through.
thanks everyone about clarifying the glade deal. Thats why I didnt get my second gift card because I bought all regular refills instead of christmas scents,I did smell those but thought they stunk.I will try again friday. I am saving this receipt because my subtotal was 00000000. How awesome is that it was around 60.00 before all my coupons. All I paid was 2.66 for tax. The cashier couldnt believe it.
Funny they won't let you use the coupons on the free box of cereal when we used coupons last week on the free cookies and I did that deal twice with no problems. I will probably try to use them on the cereal and see if it works at my Target.
Connect Four is on Rollback at Wal-mart for $10, after coupon...only $5!!!
Here are a couple of deals I got this morning at my Target:
Price matched Wal-Mart ad that came out today for Duncan Hines Cake mix @ .78 then used the .50 Target coupon making it .28.
I then price matched the Skippy peanut butter from CVS @ 3 for 5.00 and used the 1.00 Target Skippy peanut butter coupon(I used three) making them 3 @ 2.00.
Well I went to Target today and I was able to buy
2 Rice Kripie's Treats $1.88 each
Free Yogos worth $2.04
I also used a Target coupon
$1/2 for Kripie's
and
$0.50 off Yogos even tho free
Has anyone seen the ALL small & mighty 2 load trial size? I have looked at 2 different targets so far and cannot find them :(
I've seen the trial size All small & mighty at my Target in WA and got them for free no problem. I've looked in the glade tins at my target but there are no coupons inside the tins. Where are people finding these?
People are stealing the coupons out of the tins. I know it is a big accusation, but I am pretty sure that is what is happening.
Could the Arnold's bread coupon be regional? I'm in STL MO and I swear I didn't see it anywhere. Really bummed because our local market has these on sale ending today and I bought 5 papers. At least I can still try the Glade deal.
I think Orowheat was the coupon we instead of the Arnold bread. You could still try this since they seem to be made by the same company (sort of like how Dryers Ice Cream is called Edys Ice Cream in some places)...I'm not sure though. But if you do please let me know, Im also in STL MO. What was the store having the sale? :)
Jennifer -
Dierbergs has Arnold Soft Natural Bread for $1.29 ending today which would make it $0.74 a loaf with coupon.
Did the Glade deal yesterday! Got 5 holiday candles (not the tins but the new holiday candles in the decorative glass holders) at $2.50 each and got 5 of the matching holiday scented refills at $2.50 each.
Used five of my $1.50/1 coupons and five of the "buy the candle, get the refill free" coupons. Got back TWO $5.00 gift cards! Worked like a charm!
My Target in Virginia Beach, VA has Olay regenerist, buy 1, get a $5 gift card until 12/26.
First time this has happened BUT I did the Degree deal and the register adjusted the coupon to .50 instead of 1.50 off each item. I did the deal a few days ago and there were no problems. Hmm...guess just return and not mess with it. Just irritating.
I was able to get Reach dental floss for .97 and then use the 1.00 coupons making them free plus .03 overage.

Hi, just got back from my target, and love the cereal deals! However the glade deal at my target are for the glade 2 in 1 candles, not on the oil candles! Actually the scented oil candles are $2.99 each instead of $2.50. Wonder what's up with that?
Kara
Everyone watch out of Target in Goldsboro, NC. They are now counting and refusing to accept the 1.50mg and bogo coupon together.
Did one transaction the other day and went thru like a charm.
I got 5 holders used 5 1.50mg
I got 5 refills used bogo blinkie
paid like 5.xx got back 10 GC no problems. Went to new cashier today and got shot down she matched the coupons to the items then called the other cashier over said no go. If you use the bogo you can`t use the 1.50mq.
I have seen with target have the best runs in the afternoon and weekends. I guess parttime people just let it go thru or something.
Anyone else have a run like this with glade deal?

So I went to 2 different Target and check out their Glade Holiday Candle Tin, and cant find any coupons inside. I am beginning to wonder if people just take the coupon from the tin w/o buying the candle! Argh.
For those of you who had success with the glade coupons does it matter what ORDER you present them in? Is it better to have them scan the $1.50 off coupon first then the b1g1 free coupon or vice versa?
Give bogo first then others. But bogo does beep when they put the price in so will have to be k1'ed
Question on this deal:
Deal Scenarios:
Buy 5 Glade Scented Oil Candle Christmas Tins $2.50 each=$12.50
Buy 5 Glade 3 pack Scented oil candle refills $2.50 each=$12.50
Use 5 $1.50/1 coupons found inside the tins
How do you get the coupon from under the tin to use when you check out? lol
Thanks
Where is the coupon for Raisan Bran? I don't see it.
As of today my Target was still just adjusting down the bakery items to 99 cents with the coupon. I was able to get a few brownies and some of the bread. And as far as the Glade deal, I handed over my money off coupons, then the free refill coupons. And when using Target coupons, I give the manufacter first, then the Target one. Works fine.
The Lea & Perrins is a MONEY MAKER! My store had a $1/1 hangtag coupon on the bottle and the price was $2.69. When I combined my the hangtag with my $2/2 it turned into a money maker!
$2.69

=0.29 overage!
I have posted the butterball coupons and offers on my blog
http://www.bargains4wahms.com/2009/11/butterball-turkey-coupons-and-offers.html
Swaggrabber has the winndixie ad up for this week, and Butterballs are $.99 per pound!
Is the GE CFL deal a regional sale? I was at Target yesterday, stoked to get some free (or close to free) light bulbs, but none of them were marked to $2.39! I went to the front of the store and checked the ad which they always post, and did not see CFL bulbs anywhere! Poop!
