The Leap frog tag, wouldn't it be $9.99 after the $20 (10 target and 10 leapfrog coupons)? Anyway great deals. thank you for all the work you put into this. You are the TOPS!

Julie said...

Can you clarify the wii a little more? Can you ONLY get three games that are 14.99 each? (And not the really good ones like Mario Kart???) Thanks in advance!!

Laura said...

Thanks! My DD is asking Santa for the Baby Alive doll. I love it when Santa gets to save some money!

Hip2Save said...

Anon,
That was a typo, sorry! The price match is actually for $39.99--not $29.99.

Julie,
You can buy higher priced games and still use the coupons. Your total just won't be as low.

You could buy 3 games priced at $19.99 each. Minus buy 2 get 1 FREE sale and the $10/2 coupon=$29.98 for all 3 games--that's just $10 per game... still a really sweet deal!:)

i'm confused...price match at Target with a toys r us ad? I didn't know that Target price matched. Never mind me, I am new to this!

Kmart has a new program that helps those who are unemployed(like me) by giving a 20% off on selected purchase. check it out on this website: http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/dap_10151_10101_DAP_Unemployment+Program?lid=smart_assist&sid=20091101_Holiday_Promotional_Campaign__NULL_&eml=91982423&rioptype=KC

hope it helps for some of us!

Oh Man! I just bought the Connect 4x4 yesterday, and now I could have saved another $5! :(

Anonymous said...

Okay, I'm NOT new to this but I'm confused by what I'm reading. Are you saying that I can take a Target Coupon to ToysRus and use it as the price match? i.e if Target has a toy for $20 and ToysRus has it for $15.99 can I buy it at ToysRus for $15.99 AND use the Target coupon? Please explain.....

Connect 4x4 is listed in my Target ad as being on sale for 14.99!

There is also a $5 off manufacturer coupon for Trio Castle combine with $10 Target get $15 off.

Target price matches now. So if you take the Toys R Us ad to target they will match the price, then you can use the Target coupon. Some targets price match at the register, but most require that you got o customer service to get the price match.

Anonymous said...

The Target Connect 4 coupon looks like it is only good for the Spongebob version. Am I reading that right?

Anonymous said...

This is to Anonymous who bought the connect 4x4 yesterday:
Target has always guaranteed me that if the price of an item goes on sale with a week or so after I purchase it, they can price adjust or refund the amount. Maybe you didn't lose out after all. :)

Rachel said...

What coupon is for Connect 4x4? I only Connect 4 Spongebob. I think that's the regular Connect 4, right?

Anonymous said...

I was able to find the Pictureka card game at Walmart for $5 and used the coupon, making it free.

Nicole said...

Sorry guys, when I send the deals I found to Collin, I misread the connect 4, it's all jumbled. You are correct, it is for only the spongebob connect 4. MY mistake.

Nicole said...

Also, I discovered that ALL Hasbro games listed in the post, except connnect 4 of any kind, are $24.99 before the coupons.

Anonymous said...

Great finds!!! You are awesome!!!

Anonymous said...

I don't see the $5 Target Leapster Tag Jr. coupon...

Anonymous said...

Q: With the Wii games, can I buy 4 games and get 2 free, buying a total of 6 games and then use 3 of the target $10/2 coupons?

Thanks,
The Hillmans

Mandy said...

Anon 10:15, that depends on your Target store/Target cashier. Some are very picky when it comes to the Target coupons. Fortunately, my Target lets me use as many Target coupons as I want, so I plan on buying 6 games(getting 2 free) and using 3 $10 coupons, making each game only $5!!

I bought the reg. Connect 4 game priced at $9 (reg. $10) last week and used the MQ for $5 so I got it for $4 and it also had the coupon in it for a free med. 1 topping Domino's pizza.

Does anyone know an approx. price of the energizer flashlights at Target? There is a $1 Q in the Target toy coupons and I know they are $1 at Walmart, so wondering if they would be pretty cheap after coupon?

Can I print off the ToysRUs ad to price match at Target for the Leapfrog Tag? I live in South Dakota far away from Target. My sister lives in CO, and I'm going to send her all the coupons and a printed ad if that will work.

Abby said...

Anon 11:05 I am going to tell you from personal experience my Target told me it is their policy they can only take the actual ad not a computer printed version of the ad. I tried this last week with the Walgreens Chex Mix sale and had to go by Walgreens and pick up the actual ad and come back. (it was totally worth it though b/c I got 8 bags for FREE!)

So my suggestion is to go by Toys R Us and pick up one of their ads if you don't have one (they are just right in the door way)

Anonymous said...

Thanks Abby! The only problem is that her ToysRus is the opposite direction of Target. I think I'll be going for a road trip to Target in the next week. :)

Thank to you all for more clarify on how to price match at Target that I want to buy Leap Frog Tag Reader and Connect 4 for my son who will turns to 5 on this Friday (sniff)! I hope all will go smooth when I price match at Target this week and will report back! :>)

Maybe the Target Connect 4 coupon will still work with the Hasbro MC for Connect 4x4. All the Hasbro Target coupons have the same SKU... it's worth a shot!

Anonymous said...

Travel size connect four was $4.99 at target so with the $5.00 coupon it was FREE !!

I didnt see a $5.00 target coupon for the leapfrog tag I only seen a coupon for VTech Bugsby Reading System. Am I missing something? I would really like to get this coupon because this is an item on my christmas list.

The connect manufacturer coupon is for the 4x4 game. I don't think it should be used on the travel size version.

I was looking for the $5 off Leap frog jr target coupon and couldn't find it either....

Sarah said...

Yeah the Target $5 Leap Tag Junior coupon..where is that? I'm assuming you can't use the $10 Target coupon?

I have all the books from the awesome Toys R Us deal, now I need the system!

Anonymous said...

Do you have to print all the coupons to get one of them thanks for your help ambr

Maria said...

I called all the Targets in my area, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl (6 stores). to inquire about the price matched from Toy-R-US or any other competitor for that matter. NONE of the Targets I called do price match on anything. Ladies call your local target to confirm they price match.

Nicole said...

Maria, go here to print the price matching policy, it is national from Target's corporate to match stores in the area. If you don't have a toys r us close use walmart, Meijer, Kmart, or other toy store. http://pressroom.target.com/pr/news/value/our-low-price-promise-facts.aspx

Cindy said...

Maria - Target price matches nationwide. Sounds like your local Targets aren't playing by the rules. Go here http://pressroom.target.com/pr/news/value/our-low-price-promise-facts.aspx to print out their price-matching policy that is posted on their website and take it to the store with you! HTH!

Ha! Nicole and I must have been typing at the same time. :)

4 coupons on each page so just select the page you want and print. The wii coupon is page 11 of 15.

I can't find the leap frog tag Jr. Coupon from target?????

Anonymous said...

how do I get to these coupons from target.com? I want to print them in store, but I can't find them!

Anonymous said...

I am interested in using the bike couponf or the spiderman bike and remembered a post a while back about target giving you a helmet free with the purchase of the bike. Is that still going on and what are the details?

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if these coupons can be printed in store & How? 15 pages is a LOT of ink?

Thanks

My Target would not allow me to price match and use the Target web coupon at the same time purchasing the Baby Alive doll - had to choose one or the other. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Michelle said...

So you can price match then use a Target coupon on top of that?! Has anyone actually done this?

Michelle said...

on the price matching policy it lists exclusions and says "coupons" does this mean you cant use a coupon when they price match or you cant bring in a competitors coupon to get a price match?

I went to Target today and found the Easy Bake Oven on temporary markdown for $19.99, plus using the $5.00 off Target coupon, I got it for only $14.99!!!!

Heather said...

I went to target today and the $10 off tag coupon works for the tag jr as well! and they said since the coupon worked they would do the target coupon for the tag for the tag jr too. it doesn't say it is just for tag it says any tag system :) they are $28.99 at target so i got it for 8.99!

I was wondering if anyone has actually gotten Target to price match than let them use a Target coupon on top of that. I don't mean to bash Collin at all, I'm just wondering. I know when I use a Target q on an item it shows up on the receipt at the adjusted price, so a $14.99 item - a $5 Target q, for example, looks something like this on my receipt -
00000 Item desc. $9.99
Coupon $5 off $14.99

I'm just thinking that the folks at customer service are going to tell me I already got it for $9.99 and won't price match unless I have an ad with a price lower than that. Anyone having any success with this? It will help me alot with my Target shopping this week! :)

Nicole said...

I did a price match just today on the Giraffalaff Limbo. I went through a cashier to do everything but the price match. I went to cust. service and purchased the game. I gave her my toys r us ad and then the coupon and she took both. What the policy means when it says that coupons are exclusions, they will not take another store's coupon. Walmart does this but not Target.

I went to Target today. I was able to price match the Clue game with a Toys R Us ad plus use a Target $5 coupon and a $5 manufacturers coupon. Final price for the game was $10 with retail of $23.99. I also did the same scenario with a Tag reading book. No questions asked. The cashier rang me up and then I had to get the price adjustment at the service counter.
In addition I used the Connect 4 Target coupon and manufacturers coupon on Connect 4x4 and got the game for $5.

Sarah said...

I was able to use both $10 coupons for the Tag Junior. They didn't even really look at the coupons and they went through just fine. I think it will probably depend on your cashier. I've found the younger the cashier, the better luck I have!

SWEET!

Ali Smith said...

I tried to purchase the Tag Jr. today at my Target in Nampa, ID and the cashier said I could NOT use the coupon for the Jr. She even tried scanning it anyway, just in case, and the register wouldn't let her. :( Bummer. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow...

Anonymous said...

I went to Target today and used both the manufacturer coupon and the target coupon both for 5.00 off the Connect4 game. The game was on sale for 14.97 but at the checkout it rang up 10.00 so I got it for FREE !!!! Thanks for the tip. This was in Waxahachie TX. I put it with my travel size Hungry Hippo games I have put up for Christmas.

Anonymous said...

So, can you NOT use the Leap frog tag coupon on Tag jr? thanks!

Anonymous said...

if you use this link
http://www.leapfrog.com/en/landingpages/coupons.html

you can print off coupons for the books and games--right now they are on sale at toys-r-us...Target will price match or you can pick them up there...

I saved $110 using TRU pricematch at Target, manufacturer coupons, and Target coupons. I got the Disney Princess Musical Vanity ($99 at Target)- it was $69.99 in the TRU Big Book, and then a $10 off Target coupon- I got it for $59.99!! I am thrilled, because it is on my daughter's Santa list!! A lot of the coupons are for toys that are cheaper in the TRU Big Book, so check it out before you go!! You do have to bring in the actual ad, and they check things VERY carefully- but be sure to watch. I had to go back in this morning because they somehow forgot to ring up some coupons- I got another $20 back!

Jennifer said...

I went last night to Target and used both $10 Tag coupons on the Tag Jr. They were on sale for $28.99, so I ended up paying only $8.99. The cashier just asked where I had found such great coupons, but they went through without any beeps.

Stacey said...

I purchased the Leap Frog Tag and the Tag Jr. today at the Target in Kansas City, and used both $10 coupons on each of the items, so a savings of $40! The Tag was already marked at 39.99, so I didn't have to price match with TRU, even though I had the ad with me!

Thanks Collin! Love this site!

Does anyone know what the Bricks link was for the $2 off tag coupons it's no longer on the leapfrog page.

I did not get the Target connect 4x4 Q to work because it is connect 4 spongebob, so it was $10 OOP. Oh well, I scored some girls Halloween tights and leggings for a buck each. And they are just black.

I went to buy the Scatterpillar Scramble Game. I was told to go through the regular registers and then go to customer service for the price adjustment. On my receipt, the game automatically went to $14.99 when she scanned the Target coupon and then it showed my Man.coupon savings. When I went to customer service, she said she couldn't adjust the price because it was the same as Kmarts $14.99. She said even though I had the coupon, she couldn't do anything more. I can't decide if I want the game for $11. It's probably a good price but my kids didn't ask for it for Christmas and they have a list! ;) Anyone else have this problem?

jane said...

Here in milwaukee wi, I had the NICEST cashier ever. She used to $10 off target leap frog Tag system coupon and the $10 from leapfrog, so it was $8.99. She had to put both in by hand and get managers approval. She was beyond sweet. I wish I would have gotten her name so I could send a letter.

I got a great deal on the LeapFrog TAG system! Aldi has a Christmas catalog with the TAG system listed for 36.99. I took in their ad, used the two coupons, and after tax paid 18.88. Woo-hoo! Thanks for the heads-up on this!

Sara: When did you get a good deal on the tag books at toys r us?

Cydne said...

The TRU toy book (prices valid until the end of the month) has Guesstures advertised for $19.99.
There is a $5 MC on the Hasbro site. Combine with the $5 TC to make it $10!
This game is normally $27.99!

Cydne said...

Sorry, the $5 guesstures MC is not on the Hasbro site, it is here

Walmart has these priced at $15 this week, through 11/14. If you take in the Walmart ad for a price match, and stack the Target coupon with the manufacturer's coupon, it gets them down to $5 each!

Anonymous said...

I just used the KMart ad at Target (they price matched) and got the new Clues Spies for $4.99 ($14.99-$5 target coupon and $5 manufact. coupon) and the same with the Pictureka Flipper game! Great deal!

Rachel said...

I didn't see anything in their online sales paper about the buy 2 get 1 free wii games. Is that a coupon too, or is it advertised in the store?

That, coupled with the $10/2 coupon is gonna give me about 90% of my kids' Santa list in one fell swoop! Woohoo!
