Toys R Us: Mr. Potato Head $1.99 (11/20-21)!

Heads up--Toys R Us will have some new two day door-buster deals available on Friday and Saturday (11/20-11/21). You can check out the 2 day ad here. One deal to note is on the PlaySkool Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head. They'll be on sale for just $3.99! Plus, you can use the $2/1 coupon from here to score one for just $1.99!

That's an excellent deal... especially considering the regular retail price is $7.99! These would make great stocking stuffers too!

Let us know if you see any other deals in the ad worth mentioning.

(Thanks, Patricia!)

I used my $5 off mr potato head spud buds coupon for a regular mr potato head at Target last week. Priced at 6.99, I only paid $1.99 for it.

Anon 11:37 - Yes I got my Staples reward last week from the earlier backpack sale. It came in a big blue and yellow envelope.

Toysrus will have their leapster games 12.49. In the December Parenting magazine theres a $5 off coupon. So it will only be 7.49!

Am I understanding you correctly that you were able to use your $5 off the purchase of Mr Potato Head Spud Buds toy on a $5 package of clothes at Kohl's?

I just received my staples reward for the backpack from back to school this last week as well.
It was for the full price which I was glad to get since it was a $50 backpack.
If you don't receive it soon, call the staples reward center and they will check on it for you. I called a couple of weeks ago wondering where mine was, and they told me it was on it's way.
Good luck.

There is also a printable $4/1 Leapster game coupon available and there are coupons in the Nov/Dec Woman's Day Mag as well. I knew those games would go cheap soon. My son wants the Star Wars Reading & Math games!

they go are part of the doorbusters. so tomorrow at 3 the leapster games will be on sale. You can go to toysrus website to view the ad.

Look carefully at the Leapster part of the ad- I believe the sale is only on the ones pictured, not all of them. :( It says "These LeapFrog Leapster games".

Does anyone have some tricks for getting the doorbusters before they are sold out? Do you go at 2:30, put it in your cart and check out at 3:01? Would it be wrong to buy it tonight and go back tomorrow for an adjustment?

Yesterday I bought a Santa Potato Head Spud at Target for 5.99 and used the $5 off coupon. I went back today to get another one, but they now raised the price to 6.99.

Anon 3:12, they were already $6.99 at our Target yesterday. I was a little bummed.

I did receive my staples reward check about 2 weeks ago for the full backpack refund.

I want to know how everyone is using the $5 coupon on a regular mr potatoe head? Aren't the only $5 ones that are out right now are for the spud pack on one of the about $17 dollar ones in the suitcase? Am I missing a coupon or is the wrong coupon being used?

Abby said...

The santa potato head toy says right on the package it is a Santa Spud - making it a Spud toy so that is how you can use the $5 off coupon on it.

Toys R Us ad has Leapster games $12.49. Wendy's kids meals have a $5 coupon. Games regular $24.99. Great deal!

I used the $5 off for the regular Mr. Potato Head at Target last night. I plan to buy more for Toys for tot.

I went to Kohl's last night and got 2 of the Mr Potato Head Outfits. They were regularly priced $8.99, but 30% off made them $6.29. With the $5.00 off they were 1.29, and with an additional 15% off for using my Kohl's card they were $1.10 each. They had policeman, fireman, snow clothes, and glamor girl. These will make the Santa Potato Bud more useable year round.

Wow, our Toys R Us, didn't have many potato heads for it being a door buster. So I got their early to ask how it worked. I asked if they were putting a display out at 3pm? They said no that they were already on the self... There were maybe 12... I told them this, so they checked there stock, and said they had 18 in the back. That is pretty lame. 30 potato heads are suppose to last 2 days??? at $3.99 I don't think so. I was able to buy 4. I felt horrible for the people who were asking if they had more in the back. I stopped a lady and gave her 2 $5 off coupons to use... I explained she could get the Santa one for $1.99 at Target (less than Toys R Us).

Anonymous said...

I had to argue with them to get them to even take the coupons! It worked though! Yay!!!

Got 17 of them today! 14 for my students christmas gifts (I teach develpmental preschool) one for each of my kids, and one for my son's best friend. GREAT find! Saved over $60. Thank you so much!

What I am wondering is how people et 17 coupons if they aren't copying

Anonymous said...

Oh, you don't need to wonder, I did copy them with the hope they would go through, and they did. The store manager said that I could use as many as I had as long as they went through. Some cupons will not go through more than once, but this one has. Merry Christmas! :)
