Can you stack two wags coupons and a manuf. coupon? I don't understand.

Anonymous said...

this says limit of 3. how can you buy 6???

Anonymous said...

There's a buy 2 get 1 free in the 11/8
I just used the b1g1 at CVS (sale 0.99)yesterday and don't remember where or when it came from.

I thought you could only get one $5 rebate per receipt. Is this correct?

limit 3

Heather,

Yes, you can stack a Walgreens in ad coupon with a Walgreens store coupoon and a manufacturer coupon. They will all go through without any beeps.

I've done this lots of times.

Pam (meanestmother) said...

You must submit the rebate on individual receipts.

Collin explained this in her comments in another post, Your milage may vary, meaning it depends on your store if they choose to exceed the limit, in most cases it goes through without any problems.

Yes, I did post this in the other Walgreens deal post, but I'll also post this here:

There is a limit stated on most Walgreens coupons, but you can surpass the limit and you will still get the correct discount off each "like" product purchased.

Now this does become a YMMV (your mileage may vary) type situation depending on your cashier or manager. My manager doesn't mind if you purchase more then the limit stated on the coupon. All he asks is that you don't clear the shelves.

I'm going to update the post with the correct rebate info. I didn't realize you couldn't submit for two rebates on once receipt.

This will still be a great moneymaker, though!:)

I could not stack an in ad coupon with another wags coupon. I tried this yesterday and the register kept on beeping. The manager finally came over and told me I can't do this. Does anyone have an official coupon policy?

Completely off the subject question if you do not have a Rite Aid in your area and you purchase the item online can you use coupons with your purchase? If so how do you do that?

Wanted to let you know that I mailed my SC Johnson rebates to the company the last of October, and I have already received an email confirming submission and approval of my rebates. Does anyone know where you can get the rebate for the Soft Soap Ensemble? I belive it's for $4 back.

I was told the November coupon booklets are manufacturer coupons so you can't combine them with other manufacturer coupons...

I can't find my BOGO Glade coupon from Sept. All You Mag. Oh well, even if I did have it and used it, it would only apply once and not three times since it's a manufacturer coupon. Right?

It says LIMIT of 3

on the 99 glade spray i was not able to use the in-ad coupon, the $1/2 from the savings booklet and the $1/2 manuf. coupon. they only allowed the in-ad coupon and manu. Has anyone else had this problem?

Heather said...

Sue:

I understand stacking a wags coupon with a manuf coupon but this scenario has two wags and one manuf coupon. Is that okay. It seems like one item would have three coupons applied to it...I understand two but will three work?

Unknown said...

I was not able to stack the 2/1 one on the Glade either, only the Manu Q and the In-Ad Q, I also could not do with the Ocean Spray either.

where can I find inserts please let me know..

I don't see this coupon in our ad in WA

If I understand right one of the walgreens coupons is not really a coupon so to speak it is just a "sale" price. I can't remember which one though. The in ad or the monthly booklet?

Collin could you help us all with the 3 coupon 1 item thing. I would like to do the comtrex(?) deal. I have 10 3.00 of man. coupons and all the walgreens coupons. so each would be a 2.00 profit.

You can use more than one Wags coupon as long as they are DIFFERENT coupons. The barcodes need to be differnt. You cannot use two identical coupons from the Nov. booklet, but if the qs are different they CAN be combinded with a Man. Coupon. I've done this more than once at more than one location. HTH good luck

I went yesterday and they would not let me use the instore coupon and the november coupon together. They said they could only use 1 walgreens coupon and one maufacture coupon.

hopevierze said...

yes- today at Walgreens the cashier did not let me use 2 different WAGS coupons together. Could not do comtrax deal, or glade spray deal. Also- she would not let me use 2 coupons for a BOGO offer- so could not do clearasil deal you posted. Do you know Walgreens policies on these? is there somewhere I can find it and print it off? Thank yoU!

hopevierze said...

oh forgot to mention- being able to stack 2 wags coupons is something I want to do for the Enfamil formula as well. I would REALLY like to know if its in their policy! I have rainchecks for $3 off wags coupon from a couple weeks ago, they have a new $2 wags coupon, I have a $5 check, and my manufacter Wags bucks. This would make for a sweet deal. (they have been letting me combine manufacter coupons with formula checks)

Sue, Yes I'm afraid to tell you it WILL BEEP. =[ She said it was because the Glade sprays were not shown in the picture! **Very upset. She was so rude and then questioned everything I was buying. No I couldn't use 2 coupon s on clearasil either. Also I did the Ocean spray using both coupons to make it free in the right order the wags one STILL beeped she said you got walgreens brand juice not ocean spray. Oh, thats when I really started gettin angry showed it to her and she did overide that one. =[ Ughh. My WAGS shopping has come to an end!

This deal worked out perfectly for me.
Thank you soooo very much for the info and for ALL that you do!!! I do not know what I would do without visiting your site at least once if not multiple times a day! Thanks again for everything!

I did this deal in Mooresville, NC and it went through fine. I had asked beforehand if she was ok with me doing all the coupons. I also went to cosmetics, she was in no rush and was really friendly. Great deal. Although the buy one get one free had a price limit so I had to pay a surplus of a few cents for the free ones.

I stumbled across this by accident yesterday and couldn't wait to share.

THIS IS WHERE THE ORDER OF COUPONS COMES INTO PLAY!!
$5/$25 then Man Coupons then WAG coupons.
The quantity of items has never been an issue because the employees know that I will break it down into multiple transactions and slow everything down, frustrating other customers.

Prices vary depending on location, more so it seems at Target and Walmart than other stores. Case in point, the 72cnt Up&Up wipes are only $1.29 at both my local Target stores, rolled back from $1.57!

I guess I am lucky that the cashiers at my Walgreen's are great, based on some of the comments. It does pay to get to know them and I have corrected them (politely) and told them the price of the free items so much and been right that I am rarely questioned about my coupon usage there. In fact, usually the employees, upon seeing me, ask 'How much are you going to save today?' They are astonished at how I get my total down with coupons and RR.

Also, the November Savings Coupons are Walgreen's coupons. Ask the cashier or Manager to show you where on the couon or booklet it states 'Manufacturer Coupon'. They do not, thought they proudly display the Walgreen's W on them.

I have never had a problem using a manufacturer coupon and multiple WAG coupons for the same item. The UPC codes are different on them and they always go right through provided they are handed over in the order stated above.

I 'found' Collin's site back in August and am proud to say that since that time I have cut my household grocery and toiletry expenses by an average of %65!! Plus I save $$ on other things as well like Toys, Dining Out, etc.. Added bonus #1 is that my son thinks it is great that we get to try products that before we would not even consider due to price. Added bonus #2 is that since I started 'couponing', I have yet to return to the $100 store (Costco) for regular shopping!

Again, a BIG thanks, from myself and my wallet, to Collin for her site and for all who participate in making Hip2Save the best savings blog I have found (IMHO)!!!!!

Unknown said...

Oh yeah, and the Ester C deal is great too!!! No RR, but there was a $5 coupon off 1 in the Sunday paper and they are BOGO at Walgreens this week (90cnt for $11.49 at my Walgreen's). So 2 for $11.49 and then 2 $5/1 coupons makes it $1.49 for both bottles!!! Add in some Stocking stuffer candy with the Wonka and Russel Stover $.39 cent candy or other items and used the $5/$25 and you can not go wrong!!!

Enjoy, and I hope my comments help someone!

Your scenario includes TWO Walgreens coupons. You're allowed to have 1 W. coupon and 1 Manufacturer's coupon per purchase (item). You got me excited for nothing!!!

Anonymous said...

my stupid walgreens is evil. they won't accept a manufacturing coupon with the walgreen coupons

The MQ coupon is from the 11/1 SS insert

You can use the Walgreens in-ad coupon AND the coupon from the November Savings booklet.

The deal WILL work.

I just did the Kleenex deal and used BOTH the in-ad coupon AND the November Healthy Savings booklet coupon AND a manufacturer's coupon.

Just make sure you always use the MQ coupon FIRST.

I have used multiple WG coupons in the past on the same item without beeps. (I have never had a cashier override beeeps).

However, this particular coupon may beep at some stores; I have used ONE WG coupon lately that has beeped every time I use it.

No need to get snippy about things, people :) Some stores allow it, some don't. Just like some stores consider the Nov coupons MCs while others consider them WGs.

Anonymous said...

Most of you people just need to OPEN YOUR EYES and READ YOUR COUPONS!!! The Ocean spray $1 off coupon from the coupon book works just fine without beeping if you get the 2 flavors that it lists... otherwise it will not work. You cannot expect a coupon to work for a product that it does not include!

lacey said...

my store wouldn't let me use the $1/2 coupon from the november book. The cashier said it was for the items pictured. I tried telling her to go off what the coupon reads not the picture, but it kept beeping so she wouldn't take it. darn!

I had the same problem with the Walgreens coupon. I hadn't even given the $0.99 ad coupon when the cashier questioned me using the Walgreens $1.00 off 2 Glade Products?? I said it doesn't specify and the manager was walking by so she asked her. They said it was only the ones pictured. I still said that's not what the coupons says. Anyhow, they are always really nice at this one but I just cancelled my transaction and walked with nothing! I called corporate and they are supposed to be calling me back.

hi my sister is a wags cashier, the in add coupons don't count in their drawer as a coupon, although the item 2 coupon ratio applies 3 items - 3 coup. i tried the glade 1 off 2 her manager said only pictured. not their fault its a corporate issue
