I thought the number of coupons and the type in the January issue were "weak" I was unimpressed!

My computer doesn't like the Shop at Home site for some reason. However, when I saw this offer it reminded me that my son's school was selling magazines for fundraising. So, I just wanted to post this as an option. They had the 1 yr. for $15 and 2 yr. for $20 at www.qsp.com and you don't have to wait for the rebate! You can just click on your state and type in various school names till you find one who is selling these.

I agree totally with Rita, the coupon selection was almost nothing that I would ever use. The last issue wasn't much better. If they don't stop being so lame, I won't be renewing my subscription.

Thanks for the heads up on the www.qsp.com price. I was able to subscribe while helping the high school I went to.

I agree about the January issue...it was weak on coupons. Of course, it will still pay for itself, but I was disappointed in the brands featured this month and hope that future issues are more like older issues!

I agree not the best coupons this month, I hope next month will be better.

Another option is to go through Bing, they have 50% cashback on magazines.com right now. Search for 'magazine' in Bing shopping and look to the right, it should show up. You need to set up your cashback account first at bing.com/cashback.

So in the end $9.98 or $0.83/issue. I've never used Bing before this, anyone have bad experiences?

So how does Shop at Home work? Can you request a check at any time or does the money in your account have to be spent through their website? Thanks!

I used one of the coupons yesterday from the January issue....the $1/1 coupon for hormel all natural ready made meals.....Fred Meyer had them on sale for $3.99 this week and I used the $1/1 to bring it down to $2.99 (they are normally $6.99) Sometimes albertsons puts these on clearance for $1.99 so you could get one for 0.99 cents. a lot better than going out to eat and one meal feeds my family of 5. I freeze them and they only take 8 minutes in the microwave if you put them in still frozen. 4 minutes thawed.

To Cece: I am a Bing.com shopper and I have not yet received my first cashback payment yet I've accrued alot of cashback so far and it seems to be a very worth site to shop from.
I just logged onto Bing and they are only offering 16% Cash Back for Magazines.com.
Where did you see the 50% CB?

I used some of the December All You coupons that were only for use when you buy the January issue. Saved enough to pay for new mag - even if I don't use many of this months Q's! Still waiting for my subscription to kick in from a month ago.

At Anon 2:15, after searching for "magazines" on the right hand reserved for ad space you should see:

Magazines.com

Huge Savings, Free Shipping, No Taxes, and Get 50% cashback from Bing.

The $9.98 is pending in my Bing Cashback account. Hope it works for you!

I don't think you will get the $5 shop at home sign up money in your account until you make a purchase.

Collin,
Maybe we need a follow me Monday for all the rebate sites. I use shop at home, and ebates thanks to your recs. I just received my ebates check from buying magazines right after Thanksgiving. I bought several $5 subscriptions on magazines.com and they were offering 40%back. I spent $115.00 and got back over $50 before my Credit Card even closed. magazines.com is doing a deal everyday right now.

Agreed, last issue was disappointing, but still if you can use one $1.00 coupon a month it still pays for itself. Now as for qsp.com, I really liked what i saw and that reader is right, $20 for 2 years and no rebate hassles is great in my opinion. That still works out to only 83¢ an issue and i always find at least one coup i can use. Another thing i liked was that my order said that 40% of my purchase was going to support the school or organization of my choice, from among the choices listed. A great deal all around!
