Okay... is it just me or has internet language morphed into the commercials? On the Day-After-Thanksgiving Commercials (this is actually what they used to be called instead of black Friday)
they kept saying "go over here to snag this" or "come in now to score this". Didn't even seem right hearing it on tv.

My daughter and I got our lip gloss this morning! Thanks so much for the post. I would not have known otherwise. Mine is a High Gloss Blush. Love it and that it was FREE!
The lady at my EL counter was weird about it. I asked about it, and she said I had to purchase a Beautiful fragrance. I told her I wasn't interested in the fragrance, and she reluctantly handed me the gloss. Strange.
I got the gloss along with a FREE 2 minute makeover!!!
I went this morning to an Estee Lauder counter at my local Macy's. I was told it was free WITH PURCHASE! I was very disappointed and left.
I was told at Dillard's that I had to purchase the Beautiful fragance to receive it.
No free lip gloss at my local Estee Lauder. Made a special trip just to get it and the gal knew nothing about it. There were some other customers who walked up at the same time I did (around 10:10) they were surprised as well that there was no deal.
Got my free lipgloss and foundation consultation plus a free ten day supply of the foundation of my choice! the lady was very nice no purchase required plus they served my daughters lemonade and cookies while they helped me with the makeup!
So cool - told my mother about this last night and said we're going to hit up two Estee Lauder counters at the mall. One at Macy's and the other at Bon-Ton...we both came away with two just from walking around the mall.
I had to buy some mascara anyway, when I asked about the gloss was told it was with Beautiful fragrance puchase, but the guy at the counter knows me and gave me one when his manager was not looking -- plus got a special offer with the mascara purchase that included a makeup case, eyeliner, concealer, and lash primer for the same price of the mascara on its own!
I just wanted to say thanks for posting this! I took my mom and we had a good time with some mini makeovers, a few minute hand massages which felt GREAT! And we each got a free lip gloss with absolutely nothing purchased! It was a nice little treat for the evening. :)
I went to Younker's where the rude lady told me that I had to make a purchase to receive the free lip gloss. Then I went to Macy's where the girl said that I had to smell the Beautiful fragrance and try the lotion to receive it. So I got the lip gloss for free from Macy's, but man does that perfume smell terrible! I smelled like an old lady the rest of the night!!

There was no promotion except a slightly discounted Beautiful set for like 50.00 at my local EL. They claim they knew nothing about the promo. I was there right after 10:00. They took my name and Number and said they would look into it and call me once they found out more. They said I wasn't the only one asking about it that AM but of course they never called me. The lady at EL was rather rude about the whole thing but the lady at Lancome was much nicer - this was at the Belk in Rocky Mount
