I ordered three different times. I am very happy with my purchase. At first it wouldnt take my code, saying that I needed a $39 minimum purchase, but I kept trying to reenter and then it worked.
Thanks for sharing this great deal! I'll have to order these for my hubby for our anniversary. When we got married 9 years ago, we placed 4 Mint Meltaways in a cute little box and gave them to our guests as favors. We got married at Christmas and the candies had green and red sugar dusted on them.
I will never order from them again! The totally messed up my orders and charged me over 16 dollars after sending me an email saying that they would only charge me what was approved on my credit card. The chocolate was nasty too! My kids don't even like it. Be aware!!!
They so screwed up my orders last time. I was never going to order from them again. Oh well! My son wanted the fruit and nut 1 lb box last time. I got it for 7.25 shipped. Great christmas present for him.
Thanks again Collin. Hopefully they won't screw it up again.
I have never had a problem with their services with the last deal my card was charged correctly, but I hate to say nothing I got was really tasty, but for a good price no complaints :)
No they are not nasty. I think better than Russell Stover or See's. I grew up in Chicago and holidays ALWAYS included Fannie May. Walgreen's sells the individual Pixes and Meltaways here in TX and they always sell out fast. I snagged a couple when they first went on the shelf and there were ALOT! Now, none! :( This is a great deal! THANKS for posting!!!! That beware someone posted is very weird. Sorry they had trouble but I do not think that can be considered the norm. These are delicious!!! whatever you choose : )
I had no problems with being overcharged for the last offer but my box of truffles were melted when I got them. Not severely enough to prevent me from eating them but I wouldn't have been able to gift them. I live in Florida but I figured a company that specializes in chocolate would know how to get it shipped to me in a good condition.
They ruined my order the last time, charged me and never shipped the candy! Had to call customer service and get it worked out - they sent a replacement box. It was honestly a huge waste of time and effort...Finally got our candy three weeks later, disappointing.
Just ordered the chocolate mouse cake to be delivered close to my birthday-which also happens to be my birthday :) only 7.25! I ordered from fannie last time the promo codes came up, and was very happy with the chocolates we got.. no complaints!
I used this code last month and they charged me the full amount of my order. The code was only supposed to go out to a certain number of people. I wouldn't count on them honoring this.
Awesome I just ordered 2 petite gift boxes and one bag of chocolate mini snowmen. My total was 23.97$ and it still let me use the promo code. So with shipping and tax it was 8.81$
Tara- The coupon savings shows up on the Last page.
Thanks for the deal post Collin!! My church adopted a local nursing home and the gentleman I selected asked for candy for Christmas, so I purchased the Christmas assortment for him. It was $12.97 for the item and shipping which is more than I would normally pay for a box of candy, but I think it is well worth it to pay a little more to give a gift to a person who otherwise wouldn't receive anything else.
I'm having that problem too.. not sure if my order went through or not? Went to check order history, and that page wouldn't come up either, and no confirmation email. I"m guessing it didn't go thru...
I called because I was having problems and was told this is a fraudulent code and they won't honor it. I'm thinking it was meant for only one person since it did show up in my cart... I just couldn't finish the order.
I called customer service to place my order. The lady thought this was a wonderful deal. HOWEVER, she said the code went through for her but it would not allow her to prcoess it because this is an illegal coupon code. She told me that her boss said they will not be honoring these purchases and had been trying for awhile to get rid of this code. Sorry everyone...I was excited about it too.
I did get an emailed confirmation for my first two transactions, but now I keep getting the brown screen. I don't think those are going thru even though I enter my cc info and hit submit.
I think you can get better chocolate ( Lindt, Godiva , Ghiradhelli etc,) in stores for a better price . I don't think this chocolate is good at all. You seem to pay a premium for packaging and advertising and not the quality.
I called customer service and they said that the recently placed orders will be updated at 4pm in their system. She told me to call back then and that if the order was not placed they will still accept the coupon code.
Collin where do you get these codes from? Is this code really fraudulent?! What the heck man. Forget this I will just go to the freakin store and buy me some candy for $7 buck. Thanks but no thanks.
I'm still waiting for them to credit my credit card after charging me way more than my four invoices showed last time. I hope this is the month. It was quite a bit of money overcharged!
Anon 1:50...contact your bank. I was charged five times for the last promotion, they said they would refund it, never did, so I called and had the money back in my account that same dat. I also got five letters from my back two days later that said the credits back to my account where there to stay based on their investigation!
I just called CS because I kept getting the brown error screen when trying to submit my order. I wanted to make sure my order went through or if it didn't that my card wasn't charged.
After trying to place the order over the phone I was told that this is a fraudulent code and they will not honor it. They did offer free shipping, but I declined. Thanks anyway!
Wow! Alot of complainers on here today! I love the anonymous complainers!
Listen, I firmly believe that Collin does her very best to research deals she finds. Sometimes they don't work out. But, did you lose anything? NOPE! Seriously, quit the whining! All the amazing deals she has posted today ALONE, not to mention this week or the past week! I'm impressed! Sure, it may be disappointing if a deal doesn't work. But, oh well.......move on! It isn't like you researched for the deal or anything! If you don't like a deal - don't do it! If you don't like the chocolate don't complain just don't get it. Many people love it. IF the deal doesn't work.....oh well. I love this site and all the incredibly hard work that Colin puts in! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
And to all the wonderful people who view this blog and post fabulous comments and wonderful suggestions you rock! To the complainers...........relax! Enjoy the ride........it's the holidays!!!
Ok so my credit card just jumped out of my hand ran over to my glass of ice water yelling, my biscuits are burnin!! I guess I am done shopping for the day. (on that card)
Thanks for all the deals Collin. Our cards and husbands will forgive us. LOL!!
I just called a really nice costomer service person and she said that it isnt a valid code and that if i use it and put my CC number in that my card will be either charged or the order will just be cancled. EVEN though when i finally got to my order summery it LOOKED like it would take off the $25....
anyway The deal was a good idea! Call the service hotline just in case, other wise you may have a problem :(
and the ANON who is all mad a Collin for this should just get over themselves and just keep it to themselves!!!!!! It isnt her fault! SHEESH!!@!
Wanted to let you know that I just tried to place an order and entered my c.c. info. and everything, but received an error. I called customer service and they said that this code was placed on the internet ILLEGALLY and they would not be honoring it. YIKES! "Illegally" placed. Sounds kind of harsh to me!
Just called Fannie May, was told that somebody is passing around fraudulent codes and then they are giving them out on blogs and wreaking havoc. If this keeps happening, stores will not give out great deals anymore because of all of the headaches this causes!
Andrea A. LOL at your comment. So I went through the order process and then closed it out. Need to display some self-control and I'm going to skip on this one.
It didnt send me an order confirmation. I looked in the order history and nothing is there. I put in my CC info and hit submit and it went to a brown screen. I dont want to chance it and order again and be double charged. Bummer
My order wasn't going through and I called to make sure I wasn't being charged multiple times. When I spoke to the customer service rep, he told me my order wasn't going through because I used the promotional code that has been illegally placed on many websites, so they are shutting it down.
Hopefully, I won't be charged for the orders I tried to place.
FYI this is one of the same codes we used on one of the deals before, I just checked the previous post so that is interesting. I wonder why it is going through if it is not valid. But looks like we have at least 5 people that have spoke to customer service and said it is not valid. And yeah to the complainers just go some where else and don't waste your time then! I love all the deals I got yesterday and today, tons of stuff for like $25 presents for baby shower and bridal shower so I'm good with one deal that doesn't go through!
Hey, I just called Fannie May also because the code was not working. They said that it is an illegal code, and that Fannie May is on top of the situation. :( It did seem to good to be true! :(
If you click on Order History and get the brown screen, you can faintly see in the background where it says "Error on Page An error has occurred on the page you were trying to access." I am going to keep my two emails that I received as confirmations of my two orders, in case they try to chrage me for the full amount.
When I spoke to a customer service rep, VERY nice lady BTW, she said as long as you do not receive a confirmation the order has not processed and you will not be charged. HTH!
I really hope they arnt saying this isnt a valid code JUST cause we bombarded them with orders .. the finks... WAVING chocolate in our faces then hiding it on us .....
When I spoke to a customer service rep, VERY nice lady BTW, she said as long as you do not receive a confirmation the order has not processed and you will not be charged. HTH!
These false codes that are being given out is what is causing so much mess these days- stores are simply going to stop offering discount codes to avoid these illegal codes, etc. We will all end up paying for these mistakes - a blogger posted a great deal for Bliss stores two weeks ago. It was a DISASTER. I called Bliss and was screamed at for trying to use the code, they were so angry that a blogger posted a false deal!
I wound up calling CS to place my order because I kept getting an error online when I clicked on Place Order. But then I got a confirmation email without the discount. So I called back. The code is fraudulent and they said they wouldn't be honoring it. So I canceled my order. I guess my trainer wouldn't like me eating a pound of candy anyway huh? :)
I just spoke to Customer Service (1-800-999-3629) and they did confirm that this is an illegal code. I feel the honest thing to do is to cancel my order. I wish this was a real deal! Thanks anyway!
I just called the company, they said I could use the code online or phone orders. I gave my order and the promotional code and her computer wouldn't accept it. She checked with someone and they said it was an illegal code. :(
I am reading that the code is invalid now and that perhaps they will either cancel orders or charge the 25.00 (not sure how they could do that, really)
I hope it works out for those of you who were able to get your orders in!
I actually saw the single serving size of this brand of chocolate at Walgreens this morning--and I'd never heard of this brand before (recently moved from overseas). Wow..in Australia--the term 'Fannie' isn't something I'd think chocolate should be called! After reading about everyones ordering dramas on the choccies, I am so glad I did not order this deal---but I've been VERY thankful to HIP sharing her deals---she deserves high praise for all the neat Christmas pressies we will all 'get and give' this year to ourselves and to family and friends! Hip, hip hooray for Collin! :-) :-)
I just BARELY got refunded the money that Fannie May illegally charged me the last time they had an amazing deal going on! I'm glad that they resolved their issues, but I do NOT want to have to deal with it again. And I don't blame Colin for this either to all those who might think I'm complaining. I just don't know if I can fully trust them. It seems that their system is a little outdated to take false codes and allow you to have a negative amount owed, yet charge your card anyways, for FALSE amounts! I ordered 4 things last time, but haven't tried any of them since I wanted to wait until the payment issues were resolved. After reading many comments, I'm not even excited to try them now! Too bad!
I was having issues online, kept getting error message so I called CS and the guy helping me was awesome! Said the code was only good online but what he could do for me was give me free shipping and a refund of $17 on my product so it was basically the same as $25 off. I ordered the 1 pound No Sugar Added sampler ~ yum!
I actually gave Collin the code which I got from another site. In my opinion, these companies are giving out codes without the proper programming. How is it that the code works, then when people start cashing in on their mistakes, they change them. In the last week, I have wasted so much time shopping with companies who do not honor order confirmations
So many complainers since there have been many problems recently with Fannie May, Cheryl & Co, etc. They have over charged many of us for codes that have worked and I still have one that is not fixed and cannot get anyone to help me. Now I am not using any codes for them I don't get in an email myself.
I tried ordering, site was slow and kept getting an error code when trying to process payment. My husband called Fannie May. The office told him that the 10567 code is not going to be honored and that any orders processed with that code won't be fulfilled. I'm just passing along what they told him, can't guarantee if it is correct or not. good luck
Glad I didn't attempt to order. I decided (before I read all these posts)I didn't want to pay even $7 for chocolate that I didn't have somebody specific to gie it to. Thanks anyway! On a good note, I got my free sharpies yesterday! They shipped super quick!
At first I walked away but then I came back and ordered a cake for the Christmas party. I cant even make a cake for that price !!! Thanks again. lizard9256
I called to see if my order was going through. Yes it WAS going to be shipped tomorrow for 30.24. I canceled my order of course. Was told the code was invalid and not released by Fannie May that it was released on websites.
Moral of the story is. Fannie May needs to update their system. An invalid code should not work. They should not be able to charge you full amount if they decide not to honor code. They were going to charge me full price with no further contact with me.
Not complaining. I have gotten so many deals lately on here. Collin you rock.
Glad I didn't try to do this deal....thankfully I learned my lesson the last time they offered a code. Apparently Fannie May didn't learn anything from the last fiasco.
Fannie May is so ridiculous...WORST company I have ever dealt with. If the code is fraudulent then I think we'd all understand them not honoring it BUT you CANNOT just decide to charge the full amount. You cancel the order. Did they not understand from the last go around.
I see someone else commented on the Nascar.com. I never did get my stuff or an email and when I logged onto the system it said my order was cancelled. This was from the $15 off of $15 purchase with free shipping. I am not complaining AT all I love this site, I was just wondering if all of the others who order that nascar.com deal had their orders cancelled. I sent an email but have yet to receive a reply. Thanks!
Call and cancel your order if you do not want to pay regular price and shipping! I just called, and of course, their computers just crashed...so I have to call back and do this in a bit. UGH!
Anon 3:04 - there is a very strong possibility that you will be charged. Something similar happened a little over a month ago at Fannie May. We were all getting free candy and they went and charged *most* of us more than what they said they would. Some of us got it fixed pretty easily but it took me until just a week ago to have mine fixed. I personally would suggest calling and cancelling.
Tami, If you want your name shown instead of Anon, just click "name/url"...when you do this, a space will appear to put your name...that's all you have to do, then hit "publish your comment". HTH!
I will make sure to hang on to my email confirmation showing the 7.25as my total. If they charge me anything else, I will dispute the credit card charge and provide my email confirmation as proof of the amount. I also wanted to mention that I ordered from nascar.com when the 15 off 15 promtion was valid and DID receive my order.
I actually received 3 Fannie May shipments last time and my credit card was not charged (had a negative balance). I have had a great experience with this company, so I am not cancelling my order just yet.
i'm on hold right now with fm. i'm still trying to get my 45.00 refund from being charged too much on october 20. thats why the typing is one handed lower case. this symphony is getting intense and old! please give me some new on hold music aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh help
I'm sure I'm going to get flamed for this, but if some people wouldn't order 3x or more each time a "freebie" is posted, this issue could be avoided. I see this becoming an issue with all companies if people continue to abuse it. I don't know anything about this company, but I do know, every company has a right to discontinue any promotion that they are running for any reason they want.
I recieved my nascar 15.00 promotion alson No problem. I just sent a email to fannie may adressing this problem. lets see. thanks lizard9256 No we arent mad at you I dont believe you would ever steer us wrong. If you knew the problem you wouldnt put it in your blog.
The problem is the companies giving out coupon codes and then not honoring them. I agree with another poster that you should not abuse the deals by ordering 3+ of something.
But I think what happens is these companies probably don't get alot of business anyways and then all of the sudden their is an onslot of codes entered because of them being published.
Companies shoud know that in this day, people blog and share great deals.
Colin has not shared any illegal codes...they would not have worked for the first handful of people if they were illegal. It is just the companies way of getting out of it. And that is fine.
I personally love Colin's site and have gotten some great deals!
If you don't like being dissapointed because a deal doesn't work maybe you should stop visiting such blogs.
Anon 4:02 - I'm sure Fannie May would have figured it out evenutally even if there were not any phone calls. A company doesn't just go from getting 20 orders an hour to 2,000 and not notice. And if we originally believed it to be a legit code why would it matter if someone called??
I called CS after 4:00pm cst (when internet orders upload to the CS assoc.)and was told that any order place today with that code was deleted from their system. (Mine included) They could find no record of my order place at 2:45pm EST this afternoon. My CC will not be charged as they have no record of the order.
To those bringing up the NASCAR topic, I ordered ONE item during the $15 off of $15 deal, making my item $4.99. I received it only a few days later. I was happy with that! I hope you all get your deals sorted out! No need to add stress to our holidays, right?☺☺☺
About an hour ago I called CS at Fannie May and they said my order is not even showing up. So then placed it with her on phone and she said that it IS a good coupon code. She said I will be charged full amount though and get credit from code separately and takes aobut 1 week to show up. I said no thanks!
I called and my order was cancelled. I hope it does cancel before it hits my card. I love this site, so no hard feelings, Colin. You help us all! The lady at Fannie MAe was very friendly. Hoping it all works out. This would be the first time I had problems with a deal. Not bad odds.
Well, even though I received a confirmation on their site, I guess my order did not go through. I did, however, receive an email from them tonight and in fine print at the bottom, it gave a code to use "for 3 days only" to get $25 off any order. So, I reordered. In the end, I got the same deal, so I am pretty happy.
thanks Collin for all you do! I love your blog and have saved so much money this year b/c of your posts!
I got the same email, but when I tried to use it the website said that only could be used on an order of $40 or more. I checked my Order History and the 2 previous orders I placed this afternoon are finally showing up (no all-brown screen), so I printed them out to have on hand in case of any credit card dispute.
I was with customer service for over forty five minutes because I was overcharged 50 dollars on my Oct. order. They'll pay me back 15!! My order was supposed to come to 12.71!! I have the invoices to prove it. Now they gave me someones name and email to send my invoices to (maybe they'll give me more). I will NEVER order from them again. Last month I called about my credit card charges and they said "we're straightening it all out. check your statement next month" Well my credit card bill came today....no credits from F.M. They said that these codes arent' supposed to go to blogs. I said "why did the codes work then, why did it act as if shipping was supposed to be included?"
I want to hear the good, bad and the ugly about a company I'm going to order from. If there have been problems in the past, that is useful to know. If the product tastes bad to some people, I also want to know before I order. Anyway, the code didn't work so I hope everyone gets their money refunded...and I don't blame Collin at all!
I made an order yesterday and was charged the full amount. I called this morning to cancel and the woman I talked to told me the code was "fraudulent". I don't buy it, I think they got more response than they expected and backed out. I'm very turned off by this company. I don't think I will ever order from them nor will I reccomend them to anyone. A company that sends an email confirmation with one charge amount and then charges your account a totally different amount with out any kind of notification is a bit shady to me. And the fact that this has happened before to other people just makes it even worse.
Anyone recall what the discount code # was? I've been charged full price, even after receiving an e-mail stating that my purchase would be $7.25. I called them this morning, and they're working on rectifying the situation, but they've asked me for the code, and I don't have it written down anywhere......Thanks!
If you were charged a different amount on your credit card than your order confirmation shows then this is ILLEGAL..You can:
File a report with your credit card for false billing (you should have your email confirmation showing the $7-$10 charge amount.) Call Fannie May and cancel your order and they will refund the money. For questions concerning an on-line shopping order: Call 1(800)333-3629 or email customerservice@fanniemay.com
You can take it one step further if you like.
File a report with your local Better Business Bureau. File a report with your State Consumer Affairs office.

Thanks for all your great deals Colin. I really enjoy your site.
I was overcharged as well. Instead of the $7.25 my confirming email stated, I was charged $32. I canceled my order.
I think instead of just changing this to a "dead deal", something should be posted on the front page to alert everyone who doesn't read the comments to check their cards.
Too bad about this., I was looking forward to getting my order!
I actually got my order shipped and got it for the $7.25 shipping. I have been checking my credit card statement since this was posted and it finally showed today. Only charged $7.25 on my Discover card and I have traking saying it will be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully it worked for some of us then. Thanks for the post and sorry some had so much trouble!!
I have been charged the full amount even though they told me they had refunded it. I am forever boycotting Fannie May. Just hope when I return the candy the will refund it then.
I got my order today, and was only charged the discounted price. Everything went smoothly for me! I am very happy. I placed my order early, when the offer was newly released, so that may be why. I am very happy with the birthday chocolates!

I will never order from them again! The totally messed up my orders and charged me over 16 dollars after sending me an email saying that they would only charge me what was approved on my credit card. The chocolate was nasty too! My kids don't even like it. Be aware!!!
I ordered the popcorn tin for my kids, they are going to be so excited!
reminder - go thru ebates.com for 8% back :)
thanks anon..i was just going to order these but if they are nasty I will pass. I really appreciate the heads up!
Thanks! I just bought 3 small gift boxes for the kids' stockings. I only paid shipping.
Melanie
They so screwed up my orders last time. I was never going to order from them again. Oh well! My son wanted the fruit and nut 1 lb box last time. I got it for 7.25 shipped. Great christmas present for him.
Thanks again Collin. Hopefully they won't screw it up again.
I have never had a problem with Fanny May!!!! Love them!
Tami
site is soooo slow!!
I have never had a problem with their services with the last deal my card was charged correctly, but I hate to say nothing I got was really tasty, but for a good price no complaints :)
Who hates Fannie May?!?! It's the best chocolate in the world!
I ordered from them last time and they did rectify the problems - albeit slowly.
I used the code today (only once!) and it went through great. the issue last time was the shipping... should be fine this time.
I ordered a chocolate mousse cake to be delivered to where we will be at xmas for $7.25. Can't beat that!
Now, none! :(

I got the cashews the last time and they were yummy.! I then got the thank you coupon and used it for free popcorn at the Popcorn Factory.
Ordered my Trinidads!! Some of the BEST candies!
I had no problems with being overcharged for the last offer but my box of truffles were melted when I got them. Not severely enough to prevent me from eating them but I wouldn't have been able to gift them. I live in Florida but I figured a company that specializes in chocolate would know how to get it shipped to me in a good condition.
Holy cow slowest site ever! I may give up.
I put in the code and under the box it says $25 coupon but it hasn't deducted it from my total. Am I doing something wrong?
I used this code last month and they charged me the full amount of my order. The code was only supposed to go out to a certain number of people. I wouldn't count on them honoring this.
I ordered the Foiled Snowman Chocolates for stocking stuffers and the Cashew Brittle for Hubby!! $7.25 Shipped!! Thanks Collin!!
My total is only 23.97 w/out the code. Maybe it has to be over $25.
If you have a Fresh Rewards pass use it for an even sweeter deal!
I called 1800flowers and the rep said the November passes will be emailed on December 7 or 8, so now I have to decide if I'm going to wait or not...
The Vanilla Buttercreams look very yummy!
I also still had that $15 gift certificate code from the order before so I got my order free! YIPPIE!!!
Awesome I just ordered 2 petite gift boxes and one bag of chocolate mini snowmen. My total was 23.97$ and it still let me use the promo code.
So with shipping and tax it was 8.81$
Tara- The coupon savings shows up on the Last page.
Anyone able to use two promo codes? There's one listed on the homepage for a free box of chocolates with at $29.00 purchase.
Just got my mom 2 boxes of the no sugar added mint meltaways. She will be so happy. Thanks for the great deal!!
Website it running way to slow. I think I'll past this time. Thanks for the deal Collin.
OMG I love the meltaways :D
But seems when i click on em it only comes up with a pic maybe none available? IMA CRY!!!!
Tara,
Just hit the continue button. It will deduct at the end.
Is anyone else having the problem of the screen being highlighted in brown after you enter your credit card info and hit submit?
Stevie and Anon. Thanks for your help
I'm having problems and not sure if my order went through-has anyone else already received a confirmation email?
I'm having that problem too.. not sure if my order went through or not? Went to check order history, and that page wouldn't come up either, and no confirmation email. I"m guessing it didn't go thru...
Does the coupon show up on the final purchase summary? I dont want to enter my credit card info when it says I owe 32.24.Thanks for your help!
If someone can get to use more than one code let me know too!
BTW I'm not the same anonymous as before!
I called customer service and they said that the recently placed orders will be updated at 4pm in their system. She told me to call back then and that if the order was not placed they will still accept the coupon code.
heather, it will show up on the page you fill in you CC info.
now i got something into the cart and i want it and its telling me the code only works for orders $39.00 or more... and now IMA CRY TOO
Collin where do you get these codes from? Is this code really fraudulent?! What the heck man. Forget this I will just go to the freakin store and buy me some candy for $7 buck. Thanks but no thanks.
I'm still waiting for them to credit my credit card after charging me way more than my four invoices showed last time. I hope this is the month. It was quite a bit of money overcharged!
I just ordered a box of candy for a friend for her birthday. The total came to $13.28. Not bad for a $25.99 box of chocolates!
Thanks a million.
Happy Mom!
I won't be ordering. I NEVER received my order from before. My account wasn't charged, either. But, they continue sending me email messages.
Ordered mixed nuts. the website is super slow!!
Anon 1:50...contact your bank. I was charged five times for the last promotion, they said they would refund it, never did, so I called and had the money back in my account that same dat. I also got five letters from my back two days later that said the credits back to my account where there to stay based on their investigation!
I was able to use the code 3 times... purchased 3 popcorn tins gifts at $7.95 each. I think that's a great deal!!
BTW - I may have anonymous - but my name is Tami!
Just wanted to let everyone know.
I couldn't have said it better myself Tami! Thanx!
Hey, I just called Fannie May also because the code was not working. They said that it is an illegal code, and that Fannie May is on top of the situation. :( It did seem to good to be true! :(
complainers go away.. Ill throw gum at you
If you click on Order History and get the brown screen, you can faintly see in the background where it says "Error on Page
An error has occurred on the page you were trying to access." I am going to keep my two emails that I received as confirmations of my two orders, in case they try to chrage me for the full amount.
yayayayayayayayayanext to free fannie mae THANKS
I know they are saying the coupon code is false. But how is it fake if it actually works?? Hmmm
I just spoke to Customer Service (1-800-999-3629) and they did confirm that this is an illegal code.
I feel the honest thing to do is to cancel my order.
I wish this was a real deal! Thanks anyway!
i got one, but on the second try says the code expired.
I just called the company, they said I could use the code online or phone orders. I gave my order and the promotional code and her computer wouldn't accept it. She checked with someone and they said it was an illegal code. :(
Tried to use it, said the code was invalid or expired.
told me it has expired
rats, this would have been a great deal. thanks anyway
I am reading that the code is invalid now and that perhaps they will either cancel orders or charge the 25.00 (not sure how they could do that, really)
I hope it works out for those of you who were able to get your orders in!
As always, I love this site!
I believe the code is dead.
DEAL IS NOW DEAD
It is telling me that the promotion code has already expired.
I actually gave Collin the code which I got from another site. In my opinion, these companies are giving out codes without the proper programming. How is it that the code works, then when people start cashing in on their mistakes, they change them. In the last week, I have wasted so much time shopping with companies who do not honor order confirmations
nascar.com
cns.com
fanniemay.com
Thanks again. lizard9256
So if I got a confirmation with the shipping only price, should I cancel the order?
Deal is dead!
I ordered with Fannie May the last time they had the crazy deal and I had no problems at all. (I did 3 orders.)
I was able to put in just 1 order this time, so we'll see what happens. I choose to remain optimistic :-)
Apparently Fannie May didn't learn anything from the last fiasco.
oh well maybe next time
Fannie May is so ridiculous...WORST company I have ever dealt with. If the code is fraudulent then I think we'd all understand them not honoring it BUT you CANNOT just decide to charge the full amount. You cancel the order. Did they not understand from the last go around.
Buammer I missed this one, Grama wants some dried fruits and nuts for Christmas!
So we wont' be charged right? How could it have gone through if it was fraudulant? I will be so upset if my credit card is charged. Should we call?
I ordered direct about 1 hour ago and it worked fine! My father's chocolate covered cherries are on their way!~
Tami,
If you want your name shown instead of Anon, just click "name/url"...when you do this, a space will appear to put your name...that's all you have to do, then hit "publish your comment".
I rec'd my nascar order. pj's. love them! great deal. 15 off 15!
All you crying complainers I have some free Kleenex if you need it.. I hear the WAAAAAAAAAAAMBULANCE a coming
I actually received 3 Fannie May shipments last time and my credit card was not charged (had a negative balance). I have had a great experience with this company, so I am not cancelling my order just yet.
Maybe we should all stop posting and believing Fannie Mae coupon/deals!!!!!
I got the deal last time they honored it so dont cxl if you have your order just hold and see what happens
NO BIG DEAL....THANKS FOR ALL THE OTHER AWESOME DEALS YOU'VE POSTED I HAVE DONE A GREAT DEAL OF SHOPPING FROM YOUR TIPS!!!! YOU RULE
i'm on hold right now with fm. i'm still trying to get my 45.00 refund from being charged too much on october 20. thats why the typing is one handed lower case. this symphony is getting intense and old! please give me some new on hold music aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh help
Thanks Fran!
All you crying complainers I have some free Kleenex if you need it.. I hear the WAAAAAAAAAAAMBULANCE a coming
-----------------
Laughed my but off with that one! Hey, it's a gamble when it's free, you take your chances...
I agree with you elkpear (I too will probably be flamed). People do not realize that their greed really ruins alot of deals.
I recieved my nascar 15.00 promotion alson No problem. I just sent a email to fannie may adressing this problem. lets see. thanks lizard9256 No we arent mad at you I dont believe you would ever steer us wrong. If you knew the problem you wouldnt put it in your blog.
i agree jess
anon @2:17
The problem is the companies giving out coupon codes and then not honoring them. I agree with another poster that you should not abuse the deals by ordering 3+ of something.
But I think what happens is these companies probably don't get alot of business anyways and then all of the sudden their is an onslot of codes entered because of them being published.
Companies shoud know that in this day, people blog and share great deals.
Colin has not shared any illegal codes...they would not have worked for the first handful of people if they were illegal. It is just the companies way of getting out of it. And that is fine.
I personally love Colin's site and have gotten some great deals!
If you don't like being dissapointed because a deal doesn't work maybe you should stop visiting such blogs.
right now on my credit card I have a pending charge of $32.24 and it should only be $7.25! I hope they fix it!
i didnt order today but i had a good experience with FM last time! I hope this all gets sorted out!
I just called customer service and my order didnt even go through so I wont be charged. Good.
Elkpear- I agree!
elkpear-
I was replying to anon @ 2:17 (unless this was you)
But I think you pretty much just repeated what I just wrote.
My point was that they are not ILLEGAL codes. Which was stated @ 2:17.
My point also was that I don't agree with people abusing the codes by ordering 3+
'Tami' get over yourself!!
Wow wish I had never gotten involved in this deal. Just cancelled my order.
thanks for the name/url tip
I made an order yesterday and was charged the full amount. I called this morning to cancel and the woman I talked to told me the code was "fraudulent". I don't buy it, I think they got more response than they expected and backed out. I'm very turned off by this company. I don't think I will ever order from them nor will I reccomend them to anyone. A company that sends an email confirmation with one charge amount and then charges your account a totally different amount with out any kind of notification is a bit shady to me. And the fact that this has happened before to other people just makes it even worse.
P.S. There is no need to be nasty to each other.
Anyone recall what the discount code # was? I've been charged full price, even after receiving an e-mail stating that my purchase would be $7.25. I called them this morning, and they're working on rectifying the situation, but they've asked me for the code, and I don't have it written down anywhere......Thanks!
The code was 10567.
I love your site, and i love mint meltaways. Thank you for all the effort you put into bringing great value to us all! It is so appreciated!!!!!
If you were charged a different amount on your credit card than your order confirmation shows then this is ILLEGAL..You can:
File a report with your credit card for false billing (you should have your email confirmation showing the $7-$10 charge amount.)
Call Fannie May and cancel your order and they will refund the money.
For questions concerning an on-line shopping order: Call 1(800)333-3629 or email
customerservice@fanniemay.com
