The Rite Aid in Novi, Mi had this nail polish for .$97. What a bargain even without the coupon, but free is even better. HTH!

No, you do not have to purchase 5 Prells. You can just purchase one and you'll get a $2 rebate. Making this a $1 moneymaker! However, you can purchase up to 5 and you'll get a $10 rebate--making this a $5 moneymaker. I hope that makes sense.

Yes, buy a filler item to cover the overage so your total doesn't end up being negative.

You then submit the info from your receipts so that you can get your Single Check Rebate. Note: you can only request one check a month, so be sure you're done for the month before you hit the button to request your check.
MM: at my Rite Aid, the coupon will cover tax, and our tax is MUCH higher than 3% - so The coupon overage would just go toward tax. This is a big YMMV, though - some stores won't allow it, and some have computers that will reject it.

I also saw these nail polishes on clearance at Walgreens. I think they were closer to $2 though.
Nail polish and other CG makeup was 75% clearance in Royal Oak, MI. But did not have the prell deal mentioned...

I went to Rite aid today....did the Nivea Lip deal (without the b1g1 coupon) and got the lotion...and got some Revlon makeup that was 75% off...used a 2.00 off coupon..FREE! I was so excited.
So I got 3 Nivea lip care products, a body lotion, an eyeshadow quad, a mascara, and some bubble bath for my little boys stocking for 9. and some change...and will get 3 in rebates!! yay!

Get a raincheck on the Prell. Check your regional ad from Sunday -- it should be in there for .99. If it is you can get a raincheck. The rebate is good through 12/24. I tried to do the Pantene deal and it's not on sale, but the ass't mgr put it through for me anyway!
Anon 9:01 -- thanks for the heads up about the Phillips remote being on sale. I tried to do the rebate last month, but it wasn't the week the remote was on sale, & my Rite Aid had it priced at $23!!! I'll check my store.
The Prell deal sounds great, too! I've sworn off of buying any more shampoo (we have a lot in our stockpile) unless I can get it for free. And ever since I decided that, Rite Aid keeps paying me to buy shampoo. Amazing! Thanks, Collin!
At my local R.A. they told me that I can't use coupons for clearance items. :( Is there anything in the coupon policy about that?
1) You can do the Prell deal in different transactions, correct? I got 2 today after going to 2 stores, but want to get more to total 5. (Thanks for the tip on the rain check, though!)
2) I found a stack of 50 cents off Nivea lip care products at my store, so I used one of those which brought the total down to 49 cents after the Q & the SCR! So be on the lookout for those!
Were the Nivea B1G something free regional? I have gone through my qs more than once and can't find them.

Riteaid also has some Revlon lipsticks clearanced 75% off, so with the recent $2 of revlon coupons I got free lipstick!!!!These same lipsticks were clearanced at my Kroger also I live in Dallas, GA.....so BOLO...
My Rite Aid has had cosmetics on clearance for two weeks now. Last week I was able to get a FREE Revlon mascara. It was 75% off, down to $1.99 and I had a $2 coupon. I need to check out the Cover Girl clearance this week!
where are you finding the clearance make up in the MI Rite Aid stores? I looked in the Covergirl aisle but only found buy one get one 50% off. Is there another section of the store to look for clearance items?
I am feeling low lately because I cannot find any makeup coupons! I had in the past got maybe one Rimmel, or a $1 off CoverGirl..or even a $1 off Revlon. But for over a month, I haven't seen a makeup coupon in my papers.
I know that some that are posted are regional, but I'm just surprised not to see any for so long. And I'm missing all these great free or almost free items!
Any ideas as to where to get some? I don't subscribe to any magazines though I do buy the All You here and there when I remember. I also do the newsletter thing with the sites but have never received anything in the mail or email.

No Prell (all out at both stores near me) but I did get a raincheck. Let my daughter pick some pink glitter nail polish so we could have a little girl time later tonight. Both stores had TONS of makeup clearanced, Covergirl, Revlon and some Loreal. FUN!
My RA had the $0.97 nail polish, but refused to accept the $1 coupons, both the cashier and manager. I was disappointed and thought they were wrong, but just checked the RA coupon policy and it says... "In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Rite Aid will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons." It doesn't say to reject the coupon yet it doesn't say to adjust the price either.

Where did you check the RA policy at? I have one that I printed, dated Sept. 09 and it definitely states not only that they DO adjust the price of coupons down when the item is selling at a price lower than the coupon, but it tells how to do it.
Now I'm curious if there's been an update, or if your cashier/manager were just sorely misinformed?
