I tried to use it today - they emphatically said "no". Wouldn't listen to anything....

Clicked on the link and couldnt find the coupon....

Anybody else getting tired of reading Will's same post over and over again?! Give it up, girl! Sigh...

Anonymous said...

I think Target is getting harder and harder to work with when it comes to coupons -- but, I'm going to give the camera coupon a try. Usually, it's a 60/40 chance they will take my coupons!!

Melissa said...

Don't see the coupon. Plz Help!!! My 10 Year old loves deposiables and she doesn't know she getting a digital for Christmas.

"disposable" WOW I must be tired!

On the left side of Target's page, click "Holiday"...it was on the 4th page for me.

mom2taytay said...

Melissa it is the 2nd to last coupon in the Holiday Catalog Category. It is a picture of Red Digital Camera, I missed it a few times.

I used 2 of the coupons with no problem today at my Target-she didnt even adjust the price down to 4.44.

mom2taytay said...

Ooops that was really unhelpful, go to page 4 and its the 4th from the last and the camera is blue.

Bev said...

I got 2 of these. It did beep but the cashier just pushed it right through and even gave me the overage!!!

The comments by Will are easy to skim over. It's everyone else complaining about him that is VERY annoying to read! Can you all just ignore him please?

I cannot get my computer to print Target coupons. I have a Mac. I also tried to print the coupons at Target at the kiosk and it doesn't work. Any tricks?

Anonymous said...

It says "any digital camera" so it doesn't work on the disposable..

Anonymous said...

can anyone tell me where did you find the camera. The one I saw was $6.49?

thanks

Anon 8:59, Mine says "$5 off kodak camera or digital photo frame" It should work :)

Looking forward to picking up a few of these. My daughter is doing a $10 Secret Santa with her bowling team, and my goal is to see how much stuff, I can get for the $10 or less. Already been to Bath & Body today, here's a nice camera to go in there. And I think I have some FREE Glade candles to add to it

Who is Will? What post is over and over again getting posted??? Any explain?? Thx!

Anonymous said...

Got 2 at Target tonight - they were $3.84 and the cashier just pushed it through!!

Anne said...

Good luck with that one, I had Coupon Nazi that wouldn't let me do anything. She wouldn't let me use the Johnson & Johnson coupon on the Buddies soap, a manager came by and even agreed with her. That was an unsatisfying trip to Target, I guess that's why I don't go there as much anymore. At least I got my free Swiss Miss.

Christa said...

Great find, I was able to print two of these and I think I also got one in a mailer! Thanks!

Brandie said...

Only slightly related -- our Swiss Miss has gone up to 1.49 and the coupon STILL adjusted down to 97 cents.

And the cashier insisted that I only bought one Motts apple juice. I was certain I had 2, but my toddler was with me and my DH thought she might have put it back (which in retrospect, doesn't make any sense). So he didn't use my dollar off coupon on that one.

I was sure I got two free packs of 2 batteries and then I checked my receipt and turns out he kept 2 coupons but only used one.

MASSIVE TARGET D'OH.

Don't know if I'll attempt the camera. I am on a bad luck streak!

mary said...

I'd like to know what all the "Will" comments are about, too, Julie!! Anyone care to fill us in?

mary said...

um...."fag" is a very demeaning term to throw around. I'm just saying.

i'm excited about this one! Thanks! Always go to the customer service. They are usually real nice and they work things out without getting frustrated! :]

Anyone else not able to print Target coupons anymore? I am so confused.

Virginia said...

Thanks going to try this at Target this weekend. For me it seems to depend on the cashier I get. Some will push pretty much anything through, others give me a hard time about everything! I am getting pretty good at cashier shopping though!

sjfabian said...

Hey Collin, here is a suggestion on a "Follow Me Monday". . .How to profile a cashier that will be coupon friendly ;) you can even show mugshots of good and bad - lol

Anonymous said...

I saw the coupon, after getting the printer hooked up, the coupon had been taken off the site. I think Target is paying attention to this blog!

Anonymous said...

it appears Target will not allow coupons to print at th kiosks anymore

Anonymous said...

I just printed out the Q but my target has them for $6.24. Might check another target this weekend.

Jaclyn said...

Great stocking stuffer! I hope I can find one of my coupon friendly girls working! My fingers are crossed as there are A LOT of coupon nazi's. =(

Jaclyn said...

Oh....other ideas for these cameras....donate to a school teacher for any projects they do with pictures, or keep in the glove compartment just in case you get in an accident.

Anonymous said...

I'm a Mac user and I find if it says FF print it in Safari. I generally don't have a big problem printing coupons however for some reason it is really hit or miss with the bricks coupons lately. I have to hit print 8 to 12 times before they will print. Good luck I hope that helps.

Virginia said...

Oh I like sjfabian's suggestion of a follow me monday on profiling cashiers, that would be great!

Anonymous said...

Maybe we should start a blog about Cashiers - we could call it The Good, The Bad and the Ugly! lol...

Tami said...

Jaclin - great idea!
I like that tip!

To those asking about the Will posts ' it is a post that keeps going up under Colin's posts about surveys. The person puts them under Will or various other names. The sites might be good but the person is annoying because they keep putting the same post up over and over and it doesn't have anything to do with Colin's posts ever. Many people are annoyed by it, and many people are annoyed by people complaining about the posts. Its just a cr*ppy situation. Trust me I complained big time............now I just ignore him. Hope that answers your questions.

My coupon is good for ANY Kodak Camera. Says nothing about digital anywhere in print. So it's legit ! :D

Since it's a Target Coupon they should indeed honor. Got my policy with me this time.

I HIGHLY doubt Collin could video tape in Target. I am almost positive he would be asked to leave. There are privacy laws about videotaping people with out their consent (like people in the background) and there are also Target rules about videoptaping in the store. I don't think it will work! I am surprised she videotapes as much as she does!

LilKim said...

I'm pretty sure Collin already videotaped in Target - one of the early follow me mondays was about target shopping. SHE most likely asks permission from anyone who will be on camera.

I always thought that about the young guys cashiering until twice at two different Targets the cashiers flipped out - one just freaked and called the manager over after arguing with me for a few minutes, another was way worse - he was actually rolling his eyes at me while I was explaining the store coupon policy - I asked for the manager that time. I stick with the friendly looking ladies or someone that looks like they are about to go on break or head home for the day - those are the best.

beth f said...

cant seem to find the coupon, looked at every page! boo...

bet f said...

nevermind, found it :)

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the coupon, I tried it today but they wouldn't accept it - they said it was for digital cameras only. I guess YMMV depending on the cashier/manager!!! Good luck trying!!!

Anna said...

I would love to hear how Collin profiles the cashiers. I'm fairly new so I've had both scenarios with the young guys. One time everything went smoothly. The next time, I think he was hesitant and called the manager because I had so many items and barely paid anything. But, everything worked out.

I keep getting the message install coupon activator - - after I installed it it said it would prnt and prints NOTHING! Can't get any Target Q to print anymore. Anyone know what to do to fix it? Can't print Q at Target Kiosk either. I get the same message, Yikes!

Okay! Just got back from Target. I knew this would be a sticky one to work so I went to customer service to avoid any trouble to get this. The Kodak disposable camera was located in electronics, not near the main checkout registers on the endcaps with gums. They were priced at $6.24 each and so I grabbed 2 and proceeded to check out at Cust. Service counter. (Well along with glade tin deal and the soap buddies deal) Now that I know Target policy, I was ready. :D

She tells me, "the picture on the Target Web coupon is for the digital, and since it won't let me take it you can't use this on the disposable camera." She also tells me the soap buddies is not a baby item and that's why the coupon for it won't work. I tell her that the Kodak coupon does not specify digital anywhere in writing. I also add the Johnson and Johnson coupon will have to be adjusted down. She gets another girl over there and this one is over several areas- she tells me this- and she also says this deal will not work. Yes, keep reading, it does get better. Another red shirt employee (store mgr. or someone like that this time) comes over and tells the Cust. Service cashier that the $5 coupon does not specify digital and so they must honor it. He also tells her to adjust down the Johnson & Johnson coupon to .97 cents.
I was impressed. The higher up personnel know their own policy, the others do not.
I had my Target policy ready but didn't need to pull it out.
This time I didn't get nervous about all the fuss or the possibility of it now working because I am learning if you are nice and patient with them, sooner or later there are higher ups who know the policy and honor it. :)

Disclaimer*** Niceness outcome may vary by region. Not all store managers learn the same, rejection may happen.***

Walk away wistleing a tune being thankful that God made today!

For all Windows 7 users the Target coupon printer is now fixed and working great.Just downloaded mine

Anonymous said...

Target wouldn't let me use it, saying the coupon was only for a 'permanent' camera and not intended for disposables of any kind.
This was even after he scanned the coupon and it ACCEPTED it!! It didn't beep or give any indication it couldn't be used. Then, he looked at the register screen and said the coupon value was higher than the cost of the camera and I couldn't use it. So, he took the 5.00 back off. Bummer.

Anonymous said...

Got three cameras, priced at 3.84 each with the overage!! Also lots of free batteries and a compliment from the cashier!

Anonymous said...

I got 2 today, no problem, no beeps, gave me overage and everything!! Also got some FREE BATTERIES!!
THANK YOU HIP!

My Targets out here in Modesto are SO GREAT! I really feel for all of you with Nazi Targets. Mine in Sacramento were the SAME way before I moved here. I feel you pain!

I went to Target today and got two of the cameras, a Blueberry Special K, two Steaz Teas, a Kellogg's All-Bran crackers, and eight of the Purina cat treats. The total after coupons came to 22 cents. My teenage guy cashier didn't change his bored expression through my whole transaction. Yippeee! Thanks so much, Hip!

I got the same msg. when trying to print the Target Qs but then I clicked the little pop-up blocker banner thing at the top of my screen, then Run and it worked. I am running Vista.

The cheapest cameras I saw today were 6.24 so I'm checking another Target and hoping for free cameras!

Anonymous said...

Tried to get the free cameras. They wouldn't take the coupons they said it wasn't for disposables but did get my free swiss miss and tea.

Got 2 cameras at $3.84. THe coupon wouldn't scan, so she called the "manager" over and said it wouldn't work. I stated the coupon doesn't state digital and asked would she simply adjust it down to 3.84. She said that made sense and did so. The cashier stated that when a manager does it, it doesn't come back on the cashier and said "Target didn't pay attention to that detail, did they?" and smiled. Being nice always helps!

Target couponing has become true headache for me! I took about 50-80 coupons to the store with me yesterday. When I got to the cashier she immediately called a supervisor over without even attempting to scan them. The supervisor - get this - takes my entire stack of coupons to the SECURITY guard! He walks over and tells me that that the coupons with the Target logo I can use, but all other internet coupons, they will not take.

I immediately pulled out my Target policy and warned that I would get corporate on the phone. They went through all of my coupons BEFORE they even scanned 1 and said they looked legit... While she scanned along going through each item 1 by 1 she stopped and pulled out a coupon and said I couldn't use it because it had been copied which it had NOT! My printer was running out of ink and the print was off on the color, but the black was in tack. I just said whatever and had them take the items off my bill.

All in all I was in the checkout for 45 minutes and left with a complete headache! And of course the buy cereal deal and get the OJ free did not work and I was charged for the OJ.

Anonymous said...

Candice,
That's crazy! What was the point of the security guard? I wonder if they were they afraid you would start acting out.

Anonymous said...

Always know/carry the Target coupon policy. I was denied, my coupons actually did (beep)stop the register screen. I told her the price and that she would need to adjust the coupon lower. I got the we don't do that/we can't do that from 2 cashiers. I said OK I have your coupon policy can you ask your supervisor. Supervisor said adjust them down, that is what we do.

Don't assume the cashier knows what they are doing or knows the rules just because they work there.

Candice said...

The security guard came to approve that my coupons weren't fraudulent.

CRAZY!

This deal was awesome! I had my husband take the coupon while he was shopping there today and told him to try it out (if it didn't work it's not a huge deal). Apparently it did beep, but after confirming he actually was purchasing the camera, she took off $5 even though the camera was $3.84. Thanks for the heads up on this deal!

Worked like a charm for me. The young cashier said...you can't do this, I said why, he said it will be negative. I said ok let me get some candy...My boys were excited. We got 4 cameras, 3 pks gum and 4 ring pops for $.74. My boys and I skipped out of the store!!!

Worked for me..and I got overage!

I was at the Target 20 minutes away this morning, they took the X-Box hardware/ points card coupon on a generic. No problem with the Rayovac batteries and the ladies thought it was awesome.

I went to the Target near us tonight for the camera's they were crazy. Said, no cash back...

I told them it was fine, that the coupon adjusts down per store policy and they said it was for dig. cameras. I wasn't going to argue because the manager in the morning seems to be fairly lax so I will check tomorrow.

My coupon clearly states, "5 dollars off a camera OR digital frame." It does not specify digital OR disposable.

Tara Jean said...

I got two of the HD Disposible Cameras for 6.24 each and two packs of the rayovac batteries. Checked out with a teenage boy at the electronics counter and there was no problem. I saw there were other disposibles for 3.84 but I just wasn't sure about how that would go down. Spent 2.83 and I'm happy with that! Maybe next time I will be bolder but for my first try at target i'm content!

mebsmomma said...

The manager at Target was hostile about taking the coupon and refused. I then left my $95 worth of merchandise there and told him there I had not bought anything that I could not get elsewhere. Target is habitually uncooperative regarding coupons and I have decided to quit shopping there entirely.

Got my two tonight...no problems. They were $3.86 a piece, so had $1.16 x 2 = $2.32 overage. Also got free tea and free batteries. My Target must be a little better than most.

Went to Target tonight by my friends house ( Fullerton, Ca) to get the cameras, and was told that the coupon was only good for a digital camera. I politely asked where it stated that on my coupon, she said, it doesn't, but that the picture is of a digital and that's all that it was good for. She then scanned it and it went thru, and then said, oh, it must be a mistake, and then voided the whole thing and called her mgr. The manager said, NO, we won't accept this coupon, and since the line was sooo long I decided to leave.
Went to my regular Target by my house(Whittier, Ca) and got 2 cameras, no problem! I LOVE my local Target!

I only took one coupon today to try it out and it worked. I try and go to the same gal each time. She just looks at the screen and pushes the coupon through anyway. Thanks for the info. on this deal!! YAHOO.

I had to fight a bit, but was able to get the $3.89 Fun Size Disposable Camera with the Q! Thanks again! Target was behaving, but the cashier I had tonight said that he would get in trouble for letting me use the $1 Johnsons Shampoo - Any on the Travel size. I wish Target could figure their policies out.

Thank Thank Thank You....... Still on my coupon High

I can only get the Target site to print one q per computer now that they have changed everything...that said, I did get an extra one to print somehow...I'm not even going to try to figure it out! LOL The Kodak FunSaver disposables are $3.84 at our target and I also bought a pack of socks for my youngest ($6.99). I took it all to the electronics dept and checked out there since that is where the cameras were located. The guy said the screen told him the q amount was too much, but it took the $5 off anyway, so he didn't really see a problem - it wasn't expired, it says ANY Kodak camera & I bought Kodak cameras. I ended up paying $0.03...and he was so impressed! He told me "Wow, that's a great deal!" and I acknowledged that it was and said thank you and told him to have a great night, LOL! Sometimes it pays off to check out at a "non-traditional" register if you don't have too many items - i.e., the electronics dept registers, the tire & lube registers at wal-mart, etc. I usually have luck at the "not the usual registers" because the people don't usually see qs and don't care as much -- YMMV there too, though!

Lynne said...

Candice, please call Corporate at Target and complain. Also I'd never do more than about 20-25 q's in a transaction - it's too hard to keep track and they think you're trying to put one over on them.

They use the Security Guard thing at Safeway. Like they are trained in Q forgery- yah right! lol... It is an intimidation tactic to keep you from using your Q's - please complain and make a big stink to Corporate!

Also Heads Up Gals & Guys: The $5 camera Q has moved to Toys - it's still there, just moving around!

Johnson Family said...

I went shopping at the Target 20 mins away today, I got in line with the lax looking cashier but the black girl called me over, I was hesitant because there is a huge racial tension issue around us but she was great!

I had 8 packs of the dollar bin batteries with q's, 2 packs of tape a dollar each, the two cameras, and a fifteen dollar remote control dog. Total.... 15.01! It looks like I got overage on the 3.84 cent funsaver.

I had an additional q in the diaper bag covered up, went back in and tried to get the Swiss Mist (out) with the Motts Juice and same camera, unfortunately it broke even and they wouldn't allow it... I decided not to argue and took the juice even though I had the Q policy.

Went to the one in town, to the E- counter, checked out without a prob. Pointed out BEFORE handing the Q over that it was for a camera, did not specify dig/ dis. or a min. amount no problem.... FREE.

Went to the main counter, had to bust out the Q policy and threaten to call corporate because they didn't want to adjust the price down. Manager came over and took care of it, no problems.

Moral: I would play the ditzy, negotiator, with the Q policy in hand, ask and point out what the Q says!

Allison, it was in electronics at our store. I noticed in Walgreens ad this week that the same camera I picked up pre-Q for 3.84 was 4.99 on sale at Walgreens.

Posters have listed different prices and all Targets do not carry the same stock. I would check back this week.

I used two of these coupons over the weekend. Of course it beeped but I explained to the manager that was called over that the coupon says "any Kodak camera"--it doesn't say digital camera. After pointing this out the put the coupon through and even gave me the overage. Yea!!
