The last time I did EasySaver Rebates at Staples, I wanted to use an Office Depot coupon. The cashier (thankfully) told me that I could use the coupon OR get the rewards, not both. I don't know if this applies to Staples coupons or not.

My Staples takes competitor coupons with no questions asked and I have never had a problem with matching that with rebates. Also...you could google for coupons for either Staples, Office Depot and/or Office Max and I bet you could find a printable. We just had a big purchase at Home Depot and I was able to google for a 20% off printable. This is a great offer scenario, thanks!!

Kelly,
Last month at Staples I bought some rebate items and used a $10.00 off $50.00 purchase that I had from Office Depot. They told me the only way they can take the coupon is to adjust down the price of an item...so, I got 2 Casio Label Makers which they adjusted each one down $5.00. The rebate was for a $20.00 Visa debit card...I thought, since I didn't pay the full price for each item, that the Visa card would reflect this, but I got a Visa card for $40.00...so this was definitely a money maker for me.

Also, I have an email from Office Depot that has a $10.00 off $50.00 purchase...it is only good till 6/15 (tomorrow)...if anyone would like this, leave your email address, and I'll email it to you ASAP. I get these all the time, because I belong to their rewards program. I'll probably get a later date one in a few days...I can let you know then.

can I use the 10 off 50 for just the paper? It's only 49.9? before tax.

Wait before you buy thoes coupons! The cameras are sold out already online. And I was told by 2 people from Staples on the phone that none of the stores carry them. Sounds dishonest to me since the ad says that item may not be available in every store impling that some stores will carry. The lady on the phone also said they only had 500 to sell to begin with. If they have stores in every state, that's 10 per state.Plus their website says they have stores in other countries.

If you look at the ad, the next camera is $30 more and isn't 10 megapics like the coolpic.Seems dishonest to offer something in the store thats really cool but isn't really there.

Reed,
Probably not...you can always grab a small Purell at the register to bring you over the $50.00

thanks fran!

Readers should also note that the $25 of $75 coupons states PHONE ORDER OR ONLINE, while the rebate in the paper clearly states IN STORE ONLY.

Your total has to be $50.00 before tax so buy something small. Gum , candy or what ever

I'm confused... the coupons say online or phone orders. Are people that are doing this deal, doing an online/phone order... or do they except the coupons in the store. thanks! I would like to do this deal, but it's a lot of money and I don't want it to backfire!

thanks!

The linked $15 off $50 purchase coupon says "Must present Worklife Rewards Member Number at time of purchase". Since I don't know what this is (and I don't have one) I don't think I'll use it.

Anon,
The worklife reward number is the number you get when you sign up for the program. You can probably sign up at the store before you make your purchase, then you will start to earn money on your purchase. I would offer you my number, which would benefit me, but you may as well sign up yourself to earn your own bonuses.

I called my Staples store and the manager said she would be happy to take the coupon even though it says worklife rewards. Thanks so much Collin. You have saved me hundreds!! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all you do.

Is the paper deal working for people? I am trying to get my hands on that coupon to get it down to $1. Didn't want to bother if people are having trouble.

So far the paper deal has been working for me. I bought my coupon on ebay for $2.97 and it said it was good for in-store. I thought he would send me the actual coupon but he sent a printable via email. I was concerned it wouldn't work but it did. So I bought my stuff for about $60 plus tax, came home and entered my info. Now I've got my tracking number and I'm just waiting. Thanks for the tip!!!

Jo, could the email be forwarded to others of us?
