Amazon: EnviroKidz Organic Bars 79% Off!

Update: I've heard from a few readers now that this may be a misprint and the price is really only for 1 box of 6 bars. In my opinion, though, that still doesn't make much since because who the heck would by 1 box of bars for $24?!?

Wow! Amazon has a sweet deal available on EnviroKidz Organic Cheetah Crispy Rice Bars, Berry, 6-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)! These were originally priced at $24 and now they're ONLY $4.99! That's 79% off. Plus, shipping is just .99! Your final cost will ONLY be $6--that equals out to just $1 per box of 6 bars! You can't beat that price... especially for organic food!

Hurry, I doubt these will last long!

(Thanks, MoneySavingMom!)

Has anyone ever tried these? My kids love granola bars, but I'm not sure if they would like these. Can't beat the price though!

I just saw on another site that it is a misprint and it is actually for 1 box of 6. Vitamin Shoppe confirmed that.

Yes, I would definitely cancel your order. It is a mistake and you will only be shipped one box (per other comments I have seen on other blogs). You will then have to go through the hassel of shipping back your one box of bars for a refund - or trying to contact someone directly at amazon for a refund, which I have never been able to do. I am disappointed, but I knew this deal was too good to be true.

I know enviroKidz puts out some gluten free stuff. Does anyone know if this is gluten free?

I just go off the phone with the Vitamin shoppe and it is a misprint and they will not be honoring it. If you place this order you will only receive one box of granola bars with 6 granola bars in that box!

Unfortunately this is a glitch. If you contact the seller Vitamin Shoppe they will tell you it is an Amazon misprint. The price is for one box. Too bad it was such a good deal. I think it is awful that Amazon is taking their time correcting the ad.

So why is the list price $25 for one box? That is a glitch too?

Yes they are gluten free and are DELICIOUS!!!

I just called Vitamin Shoppe AND Amazon. Vitamin Shoppe said they ship out the order but suggested that I call Amazon to verify my order. I called Amazon and spoke to a real person. I had her look up my order and she told me that the order was for 6 boxes of 6 each - for a total of 36 bars. So, I guess I just have to wait and see what comes to my house.

I also just placed an order. I too called Amazon and spoke to a live representative. She confirmed that I will get 6 boxes for a total of 36 bars. YUM!!!!!! Thanks for the post!

Can someone do us all a favor and post the numbers for both Amazon and Vitamin Shoppe so if we do receive this order and there are not 6 boxes, we have someone to contact?

Thank you!

If you want to cancel your order, call 1-800-223-1216 and Push #6!

I'm still in hopes I'm going to get my 6 boxes of bars!:)

Here is the Amazon number:
1-800-201-7575
they insisted that I am getting a case of 6.
I also called the Vitamin Shoppe CORPORATE who says I am only getting one box...to which I responed that their product at this price is STILL UP and running and advertising 6 boxes (not to mention the fact that this offer was advertised in an email that they send out this morning about organic foods!)...so then (after on hold for a long time) she tells me that they will be crediting people for their purchase but they can keep the one box.
So...who knows.. I am just trying to stay positive and at the very least I guess we will get a free box, right?
What cracks me up is that the "wrong" sale price is STILL UP. (I just printed it out for kicks)
Oh the drama of the deals, lol!

sounds like vitamin shoppe and amazon need to talk!!

They finally changed the price on amazon.. so now it will be interesting to see what will happen to our orders!

The peanut butter ones are still the same 4.99 price.

I just recieved an email from vitamin shoppe saying that the bars are on back order.. but it did say that it would be 6 boxes of 6 bars. Anyone else get an email like this?

Keri Lyn @ She Saved said...

I did too...so now I am thinking that they can't blame the error on Amazon... this could turn out to be kind of exciting to see how they handle all this. Remember the Korres deal a few weeks ago... sometimes it is neat to see companies step up and do the right thing....

I received the back ordered email as well. hopefully we'll get what we ordered!

I received an e-mail last night and at 6 am this morning stating the items is on backorder but I will receive 6 boxes. Crossing my fingers!!

Same thing here and I ordered 2!! If I get 72 bars for $11 I am going to be soo excited! I usually get them for $2.77-$1Q=$1.77/box at Wal-Mart (cheapest I have EVER seen) so this is such a deal!! I should have ordered more :( We are GFCF so we eat alot of these! And they are better than regular rice crispies bars IMO...even hubby LOVES them!!

I got the same email. I will have to wait until 9/1 to receive it. Great deal though!

Now my order has been canceled! This is what I received:

"We're writing to inform you that your order from The Vitamin Shoppe has been canceled.

Your credit card was not charged for this order."

Anyone know why?? This is false advertising. I was so looking forward to these.
