Important: Kmart Proctor & Gamble Update!

First off, I just want to apologize about the Proctor & Gamble Deal Scenario I provided in the Kmart Doubles Deal post. The reason for the apology, well, it turns out the scenario is NOT correct and purchasing Duracell & Secret will NOT generate a Catalina.

Thanks to, Elizabeth, for leaving a comment and alerting me to this. The main link to the Proctor and Gamble Kmart promotion has 2 additional links available. Right above the links it states, "See links below for complete offer details." I assumed that meant that both links were showing participating products for this promotion and I was wrong.

The first link is of participating products--which are:
Gain 100-oz. liquid or 63–80-load powder $8.99
Cheer 100-oz. liquid $8.99
Downy 48–60 load 2/$10
Charmin 24 regular,12 Big or 6 mega rolls $7
Bounty 8 regular or 6 big rolls $7

However, the second link is just advertising sale items! I thought the second link was advertising participating products too and that's where I got confused! I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you all. I try to have the deals I post be as accurate as possible, but sometimes I do make mistakes!

Hey, its alright. It still turned out to be a great deal, $2 per 8 pack of batteries. That is still really awesome. Had a great day at Kmart today, $356 worth of product for only $63.00 It is actually more than I usually spend there o.o.p. but I got some really great stuff. Thanks for your incredible website!!!!

When I purchased the Trio games, 4 secrets, and two batteries, I ended up getting two Kmart coupons on my receipt - 1 for $5 off a $5 purchase and one for $3 off a $3 purchase. Awesome deal! This was the first time I did the Kmart double coupons and I can't wait to do it again.

If you look at the ad for this week, it shows that it will generate a $5 off $5 purchase for spending $25 in health and beauty. Went today, spent $6 for $313 in product. I got 4 $5/5 in specific departments, 2 $5/5 on any merchandise and qualified for the $5 gift card rebate on the cereal. I always await your list for K-Mart doubles. Thank you!!

I bought 4 batteries and 5 secret deoderants and I did get a coupon for $5 off a $5 purchase. I did buy more items though, so I am not sure what that came off of. It didnt print in the catalina, but it printed as an add on to my recipt. I thought I was going to get a $10.00 one, and even asked the lady who also did not know why I did not get a $10 one also.

I was just logging on to see where I went wrong, as I did the deal also.

We all make mistakes, no biggy. I'm keeping the items

were you able to use more than 10 coupons per visit???

My store let us use more than 10 coupons, "as long as we didn't go overboard" I used 12 because I didn't know that they weren't enforcing the rules. Paid $2.36 for a ton of stuff though and was so happy.

Collin I did the exact same thing and I didn't even know I was wrong until you just told me! I looked at the same things you did and thought the same thing so don't feel bad. Kmart was not very clear with that strange ad.

It worked for me too! I got the coupons that others are talking about from the receipt tape and I also got a $5 Catalina.

I am such a newbie! Just starting to learn the art of couponing. I thought that when it said $25 worth of stuff must be purchased, I figured it meant I had to at least pay $25 so I bought other things I without a coupon to make sure I had paid at least $25 out of pocket! UGH!! Otherwise my coupons were great - go so much for free!

I do not understand how you can save so much off of hundreds of dollars when you are only allowed to use 10 coupons with a value of up to $2. Please share your secrets.

My son and I went to Kmart today and after using 10 coupons each, we paid a total of $2.67 for $60.84worth of stuff! Checking out was a nightmare, though. My cashier got totally befuddled by double coupons, and my initial total came to twice what it should have been. So the manager had to come over and delete everything and then ring everything up again. Frustrating!

FINALLY found a Kmart "near" me that is doing the double coupons...it's a 40 minute drive, but it sounds like everyone is getting such a great deal that it is totally worth it!
