Old Navy: $2 Tanks 8/15 + New Coupons!

Old Navy stores are at it again with some sweet weekend promotions! Old Navy tanks will be just $2 tomorrow, August 15th ONLY! Plus, Old Navy Basic T's will be only $3 the following Saturday, August 22nd!

As you may know, OldNavyWeekly.com just released some new money saving in-store coupons. The super high value coupons are gone, but there are still 2 great coupons available. One is for a $10 off a $50 purchase. Just move the headband on the little girl to the other girl and you'll be able to access the coupon. You can also score a 10% off coupon by clicking on the moms coffee cup! Use the 10% coupon to snag each tank top for just $1.80! Yay!

(Thanks, MyFrugalAdventures & Fabulously Frugal!)

(Thanks, MojoSavings and all the reader who emailed about this coupon!)

So exciting! I love Old Navy deals. I can move the headband on the little girl, but it doesn't release a coupon. Is there some place I should be putting the headband to get the coupon?

Has anyone tried to buy the tank tops early and get a price adjustment in the past? I was thinking of doing this too, but wasn't sure it would work.

I used to work for Old Navy and on the recipet it says you can get a price adjustment within 7 days if the price changes. I am sure it would work what a great idea. But you would still have to go back when it was busy.

GO TO ON TONIGHT AND HIDE THE TANKS YOU WANT BEHIND SOME UGLY CLOTHES YOU KNOW THAT NO ONE WOULD EVER BUY. THEN TOMORROW PM WHEN EVERYONE HAS LEFT GO IN THERE AND RECOVER YOUR GOODS!

it will be busy when you go back to get your price adjustment, BUT you will have the colors/sizes you want/need!

i would go early for the price adj. if possible. When the flip flops went on sale for $1 the line wrapped around the store perimeter and then still wound through the aisle twice, and people were pushing each other so much that one person was trampled and had to leave in an ambulance. All this for rubber and plastic flip flops?!? :)

The class of 2010 sale was crazy too, but not like the $1 sale.

I work for Gap and I doubt they will price adjust on this. Price adjustments are only given when something goes on sale - NOT for promotions.

I went today (saturday) to get my tanks around 11:30am. It wasn't crazy. There weren't long lines. All the colors and sizes of tanks were all still there.
Maybe it's only crazy right when it opens because people are afraid it's going to be crazy all day. But if you would just calm down and wait an hour or two, it wouldn't be so bad.
I even went to the changing room to get the right size and there wasn't a line there either.

Thanks! The Old Navy I went to in TX still had a table full of tanks in each size at 2pm. I got some more of their striped tanks I purchased earlier this summer; I only treated myself to 2 then so now I have lots to pick from next summer. Plus 4 more white tanks for pj tops :) A great deal!!

I went in this morning thinking I was too late in getting anything good, but the table was completely full with TONS underneath.
I got the 10% coupon from the link above so I only spent $1.80 per tank. only downfall was it was a limit of 5 tanks. BOOO.

PS. I used to work for Old Navy and I wouldn't recommend the price adjustment thing because it is a promotion not a price that was marked down.
BUT what you could do is return them and buy them back. they can't stop you from doing that!
