i've been wanting to start the whole coupon thing... but just didn't even know where to begin w/out getting overwhelmed or getting sucked into buying things we do not need and then spending extra money. your site is perfect. i can "prepare" and educate myself before starting. there was a lady at target in the line ahead of me yesterday... she had a lot of little things (travel sized things) and then handed the cashier a whole butt load of coupons... i almost switched lanes... hehe :) but ended up asking her where she got all the coupons... and how the heck she figured everything out! she gave me your blog. So.. thanks coupon lady... out there somewhere! i'm super geeked to begin my new hobby!!!
ps now that i read your coupon 101 advice... she followed everything to a T. and it worked.

I know that the rebates say you will receive them in the mail within 4-6 weeks, but I just got mine in the mail, and it has only been 2 weeks!

Are the rebates from Staples "real money checks" or store credit? TIA. Love the blog!

Pilar,
Yes, they are "real money checks"!:)

Has anyone else problems using manufacturer Qs at your Staples? I had the worst experience there this morning - humiliating and infuriating! They acted like they did not want to take them and then told me I could not use more than one of the same Q in the same transaction. The whole "one per purchase" language misinterpreted yet again! I was trying to use the $1/2 Bic Qs. The manager finally said he could do multiple transaction if that would "make me happy" (argh!) but at that point I didn't want any favors from them. I canceled the entire thing. 20 minutes of my life I will never get back. I have called and emailed corporate HQ about this ridiculousness.

I just bought the printer paper. I'm so happy that you can do the rebate online! I would have never sent one off in the mail! Thanks so much!

I got the fax/copier today!! Yay!! I LOVE these deals that you find. You have helped me so many times with your blog. Thank you!!

BTW, this time my rebate will come in the form of a $50 Visa card, but in the past it has been a check. Even though I like the check better, I am NOT complaining!

I have Norton, how do I get the $20 rebate you talked about??

I just bought the label printer online and will have it delivered to the store for free shipping. I originally tried to purchase onsite but they were out of stock. Next time I will order straight from the site and skip the rat race. It was so easy and I was able to submit my rebate right away.

Forms Processing applications let you recognize forms filled in by hand in order to automate data entry tasks. Handprint recognition has come a long way in the past few years. Cost and complexity have gone down while accuracy gets increasingly higher. This has finally made this technology available to small and mid-sized businesses.
