Pillsbury Back To School 24 Hour Give-Away!

Our favorite snacks around here are usually home-baked. My son's favorite are "Power Muffins", which I found on Money Saving Mom's site a while ago. They're healthy, high in fiber and fruit and so good!

My daughter is still in daycare, not school yet- but I could totally use this pack for the lunchbox and to organize her coloring stuff! Every day when we pick her up, she says, without fail- "I want a pop!" i.e. popsicle. It's definitely her favorite after "school" snack right now! :)

It is funny you mention those cookies because those were (and still are) my favorite snack. I remember growing up I would look forward to the holidays because that was the only time they would come out (with either a Santa, or ghost, or bunny, etc). Now they are starting to come out with more and I love it. I now have my daughters (mainly the youngest) hooked on these. If I let her, the two of us could easily go through a box just the two of us.

My sons favorite snack is to cut an apple into wedges, spread on the peanut butter and add little marshmellow on top of the peanut butter for the teeth, you have a smile. If you only have large marshmellows, cut them up.

my son loves toasted cheese bread, which is just cheese on a slice of bread and you broil it in the oven just to melt the cheese. Plus it is a very easy snack to make. My daughter is into having Twinkies as her snack.

My little girl LOVES to freeze yogurt and eat it like ice cream! Sometimes we will poke a popsicle stick throught the top so she can eat it off the stick. Much better for you than ice cream or popsicles.

My kids like to have and yogurt parfaits. I layer an ice cream glass with yogurt and cut up fresh fruit. I got some cute ice cream classes at Goodwill. The glasses make the parfaits look like a special treat! The most festive part is the rainbow sprinkles on top!
