I received a sample of the Nut clusters from Pssst yesterday. Included with the free "full size" bag were 10 (YES, TEN) of the $1.60/1 coupons. So watch your mail :-)

I dont have the $1.00 off on my cellfire. Are those coupons different for everyone?

It wasn't on my cellfire either. Do we know how long this promotion is lasting? I'd love to wait to get my Psst sample in the mail! Great heads up Pam!

My Oregon store add has these advertised at $2.99 before coupon savings, and you only have to buy three for a free box of Betty Crocker fruit snacks, not Capri Sun. Still an awesome deal, though.

Does anyone know what chain Coborn's is from. Sometimes they have deals, but they aren't advertised.

Kelley said...

I'm sorry about my earlier post; it was my Albertson's add that I was referring to.

I have the dominicks ad and dont see the clusters listed, is it different for all the stores? I have HN granola bars, but doesnt say anything about clusters

Kelley said...

I also see the add in my Safeway flyer. You could use the double coupons on this as well, but it lists a specific size for the Nature Valley bars. I don't think the clusters weigh enough to count. Does anyone know if they do?

Kelley,
Check Safeway.com under your zip code click buy 4 save $4 picture or club card specials and then go to breakfast. All participating items will be listed. I checked Safeway.com for my zip, plus Randall in Houston and Von's in Southern CA all had it listed as participating so in all probablility Oregon will too.

Thanks Laina!

Do not make the same mistake I did. Genaurdi's doesn't start until FRIDAY. They still gave me the $4 off and free Capri sun BUT I spent more than I wanted to. I'll go back Friday.

dang! i wish i'd known about this yesterday! my randall's takes off all e-coupons for a product, even if you only buy one. i had several for the nut clusters and for BC warm delights and cookie mix, so i used my $1.60 coupons, plus other BC coupons, and got 3 nut clusters, 1 BC warm delights, and 1 BC cookie mix for just $1.35 (only had 2 nut clusters coupons). a great deal, but this one is way better, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the nut clusters but would never pay full price for them!

Are there dates on this?

YAY PAm!!! I got an email like a week ago to watch my mail from them!!!

Anyone know if you can do more than one set of 4 in a transaction and get additional capri sun coupons? Or do you have to do seperate transactions?

Anonymous said...

The nut clusters are not included in Bay Area Safeway salespaper, just the granola bars and boxes of cereal :-(

I just went and did this in the Dallas tx area and the clusters were not in the add, but were part of the sale. I did not get a free capri sun coupon in the end though. They said it was for only the items pictured in the add. There is fine print that includes the granola bars, cerals and fruit snacks. So it was still free and overage, but no free capri sun.

Safeway is not a kroger store mary.

I love LOVE the nut clusters but won't pay full price. Thanks for the tip Hip!

Anyone know how long this lasts? Just went to Randall's yesterday and I'd like to wait to go again until next week...it is a drive from here?
Thank you!

Question about Cellfire and Shortcuts.com. I take it that these coupons, though they are manufactures and preloaded coupons will decuct above the value of your printed, in hand coupons?

I am really new to this coupon thing, though doing quite well for a beginner, and this would make it even better.

Also select Cambell's Condensed Soups are 2/ $1.00 and there is a $1/2 Cambell's cooking soups coupon that was out there online recently, so FREE Campbell's Soups too!

My Dominicks in Chicago does not offer the special pricing for 4 bags that everyone is writing about; they're charging 3.49 each at my store. Not worth it for me. I then went to Walmart and they were much cheaper, about $1 each after the $1.60 coupon. I tried the cashew nut clusters, but you know what, I really didn't care for them. Mostly chunks of very dry granola with bits of cashews. You hardly tasted the cashews. Doesn't even look at all like the picture on the bag that shows whole cashews within the cluster. They're just tiny cashew pieces mixed in with alot of granola. It tasted like a regular very dry granola bar. They're bite sized granola chunks, which I think would taste much better in a bowl of milk. Walgreens has the True North nut clusters on sale this week and they taste so much better.

Randels in RoundRock Texas, the 4 for 6 deal works but it does not generate the coupon for the drinks, still a great deal especially if you get the preloaded coupond and the psst coupons. They have grapes on sale that i used to absorb the overage and i found som cheap yougurt at 20 cents each on quick sale.

I did this deal today with Cocoa Puffs, Trix and 2 bags of Clusters. The Clusters were not listed on the flyer but there was a tag listed in the store, as long as the items are 4/$10 you are good to go. I recived an overage with which I purchased a gallon of milk and grapes and paid OOP $.26 cents! I did not recieve the cat for free Capri Sun.

I signed up for Pssst long long time ago but never receive anything from them...

Evan and Amber said...

my safeway said they'd only give me one free item (meaning I could only use one coupon for 1.60 off) has this happened to anyone before?

I Heart Coupon Deals said...

Alot of times the items they show in the weekly flyer are not the only products included in the sale. The only way to find out is to go into the store. I am hoping that my local store has the clusters included in this deal.

Also, Vons is very strict with their coupon policy now so it will be a YMMV on how many coupons can be used in on transaction, especially printables.

Cassandra said...

Wouldn't the cost after using (4) $1/1 coupons and the e-coupons be $0 oop? Not $.50.bag?

Cassandra said...

oo got it! You said if you don't have the e-coupons. SORRY!

Anonymous said...

I went to safeway and they would not let me use four separate coupons for four of the same item on one transaction. They said 1 per purchase was the same as 1 per transaction. Needless to say, I won't be shopping there again. Also, if you look at there coupon policy online, they will not accept a printable coupon for more than 50% off of a products value (ie: if a product sells for $5 you cannot use a coupon valued over at $2.25 or more) so the Nut clusters are $2.50 and you cannot use a coupon valued at more than $1.25 off.

I had problems with Safeway (which I wrote about earlier) and I called there customer service and they said you can't even use different coupons if its a similar item - for example, if I wanted to buy a kelloggs cereal with one coupon and a post cereal coupon with another they won't let me use both coupons even though they are different manufacturers.

I went to Safeway on TV Hwy and 198th-ish in Aloha on Monday and they said I can only use one printable coupon per transaction, period. Since I had 12 coupons, 8 of which were high value printables, I had to cancel the transaction and the cashier handed me my coupons, pushed my cart to the side and proceeded to help the next person. It embarrassed the heck out of me.

you only get the capri sun deal if you only buy the cereal!!!

I went tomthumb, I got the Hefty Easy Flaps trash bag 80 counts BOGO(buy one get one free), priced at $7.99, used 2/0.55 qs, also each box has another 0.55 off coupon, the cashier tear it off and scan another two qs, it beeped. (I tell her I can only use two Hefty coupons) However, the cashier manual type in. After 4/0.55 qs, I got 2 boxes of trash bag for only $5.79. Walmart priced $5.98 for 1 box.

I went to Randalls tonight in Houston, TX. I got 4 of the nut clusters and they had a sign saying they were included wyb 4. I used 1 $1.60 off, 2 $1 off and ALL the $1 ecoupons came off, including $0.40/1 Nature Valley BARS (which I did not buy). It did NOT print a catalina for the free box of capri sun, but I asked the cashier (not sure if she was a mgr or team lead) but she looked at my receipt and the ad and then wrote a note on my receipt saying next time I could get a free box. She said maybe the catalina will print NEXT time I come to buy something? We'll see...I plan to go again and try to get more clusters, cereal, fruit snacks combo. The sale for Houston ends on Tues. 9/22

Anonymous said...

Same here, no catalina printed. Per customer service at the store and CSR at 800# the catalina will print on your next shopping trip. Doesn't sound right but I will go back tomorrow and see if its true!

My Dominick;s didn't print out the Capri Sun catalina, but I still got the granola for almost free.

I used 4/$1 printable coupons, plus the 1/$1 ecoupons from Shortcuts (I can't find it in Cellfire) and 2/$0.40 ecoupons for Nature Valley BARS (which I did not buy) form both Shortcuts and Cellfire. I paid $0.20 for 4 packs of Granola Nuts Clusters. It didn't print out the Free Capri Sun.

Nut clusters are part of the $4/4 but not part of the Capri Sun cat. Weird, eh?

I did this deal at genuardis and I only bought clusters and I did get the $4 off and a capri sun coupon!
