Walgreens: 20 oz Coke Zero & Reese's Deal!

Walgreens currently has a pretty sweet promotion available thru 9/26: buy 2 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups 1.5 oz (other select Hershey's products are included) and get a FREE 20 oz Coke Zero or Sprite Zero! The price of the coke or sprite will automatically come off at checkout. Plus, there are buy one get one free coupons and $0.55/1 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup coupons available in the 8/23 Smartsource insert.

Deal Scenarios:

#1
Buy 2 Reese's Peanut butter cups (1.5 oz ) 2/$1
Buy 1 Coke Zero or Sprite Zero (free)
Use 1 $0.55/1 coupon (you could use 2 coupons, but then you'll have to deal with the register beeping and the cashier having to override the coupon)
Pay just $0.45 for 2 Candy Bars & 1 soda!

#2
Buy 2 Reese's Peanut butter cups (1.5 oz ) 2/$1
Buy 1 Coke Zero or Sprite Zero (free)
Use the buy one get one free coupon
Final cost $0.50 for 2 Candy Bars & 1 soda!

**Even if you don't have any coupons this is still a great deal--just $1 for two candy bars and one soda!

(Thanks, Traci!)

I was wondering what are the other candies included? I bought a whole bunch of the clearance Symphony bars last week and forgot to try to get the Coke with them. Does anyone know if it works with them?

Not sure about what other candies are included in this deal however, I have done the deal twice with Reese's and got a free Diet Coke w/ Lime and Cherry Coke. HTH.

Not sure if it works for sure but I also heard that if you do 4 Reece's bars and 2 cokes you the system is giving 1 free Stride gum and there is a B1G1 WAG q on the gum so you can get 4 candy bars, 2 cokes and 2 gums for the price of the candy bars. or $2.

The Reese's Whips bars are on sale at my Walgreens for $0.22, so I've gotten two of those and my Coke Zero for $0.44 three times this week!

I just find it ammusing that they want you to buy candy in order to try the diet coke. Eat more junk and drink a diet cola...the great american lifestyle.

I did this deal last week, and got back $1 register reward on the candy I think. Usually don't get RR when I am supposed to, so did not question the extra $1 reward on this deal -- just accepted the bonus. BTW several people have mentioned they cannot find the Trident Layers Gum. I have found it by the registers at two different Wags.

The deal does not work with the Symphony bars as they are the larger size. Just the smaller bars work.

Can I use my free candy bar coupons?

Is it limited to one FREE coke per transaction? I'm just curious if I could use all my Reese's coupons and get several FREE pops in one transaction? Also, does it end tomorrow or will this deal run longer? Thanks for all the great finds!

I did this deal tonight. I got the reese whips for .22 and a free 20oz coke. The whips were expired but he sold them to me and I just left them at the store for him to trash or whatever they do. I also did another transaction in which I bought the cups and used the bogo coupon and the .55 off coupon and got the coke free.

Millrat, it's not just coke zero, it's all coca cola products. That is what the sign says in my wags. Also, I was the Anonymous above, forgot to put my name.

Thanks MomDG, that's right, I forgot that the Symphony is a bigger size.

Check the candy aisle too. There were discounted Reese cups for 22 cents each. So with the BIGI coupon, you can get 2 Reese Cups and a coke for 22 cents plus tax! I did this 6 times! Plus there were plenty for others to do this too! :)

Oh and it doesn't have to be Coke Zero........it can be any coke product. Sprite, coke, diet coke, etc!
