I also got the same message but I didn't from my hubby's cell. I think mine didn't go through as I have done a Always text sample in the past.

This is a new deal though as it was in (Dec) Seventeen magazine.

I pay for texts and it was discouraging to have to reply about 5 times for them to ask me for my name, address and phone number. However, thank you for the info. :)

JO- If you sign up online you wont have to reply back with that info.HTH

it is asking for my age...do I have to reply if I'm already registered?

Jo Girl and others -

You can go online to shoptext.com and make an account so you won't have to text numerous times.

I was asked for my age this time before I got the message that it will be sent.

WOW... I received a text that said "Thanks! Your order will arrive in 6-8 weeks"

.. and just now I received another text that said "Sorry, we're unable to process your order. Reasons may include a previous order sent to (my address listed)"

No worries... I have a stockpile of that stuff because of this wonderful site :)

this is oof topic but I just bought two kids meals at Wendys, hoping to get the 5$ leapfrog coupon everyone is talking about and there was nothing on my bag or in it that had a coupon. Where did you guys find these at?

Anonymous said...

I found mine @ the Wendy's in Ofallon Missouri. They had the leap frog promotion advertised on the drive through sign. You also get a cool leap frog toy. One of them is a pretend cell phone that is actually a calcultor.

Totally off topic, but did you see that Target changed their price matching yet again??

Target coupons will be deducted before price matching. If the price in the competitor ad is still lower, then that price will be applied and any manufacturer’s coupons will be deducted. So basically Target store coupons can no longer be deducted after the price match is made.

Poop!! I was afraid that would happen when so many people got the Leapfrog Alphabet toy for 49¢. Just wish people would be fair and realize that the mfr never intended to sell such a good toy for so cheap. Especially considering that Target does not get reimbursed for the Target Cpn.

I talked to a manager today at Target and he said Target lost a HUGE amount of $$ on that deal alone. As it was, Target was losing a tiny bit of $$$ if they sold the toy at $10.

Oh well...

Question, on these kinds of text deals, do you have to text the code word AND your address the first time??? Because I just texted Always but not my address? are they going to txt back asking for my address or give me some kinda website code??
Sorry, but my first time txting these kinds of things...I have to pay for txts b/c I don't txt too much, but I did it from my fiance's phone.

This is off topic, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up on the Marcal coupons (the free napkins, the $.50 coupon, and the free toilet paper, tissues or paper towels, or $1.00 off napkins). These coupons are "one per person"...yesterday I had 5 coupons, but I was able to use one of each of the above, and I had her void the other 2 off my order. I just wanted you all to be aware of this in case your stores know about this. Some of these coupons are getting to be a pain to use. Do you think they are actually trying to discourage us from using coupons?

Fran's question, regarding if I think they are discouraging cpn use... I don't think so. What I do think is a few (or maybe more than a few) GREEDY people may have used 10 or more Qs at a time for the free item, so they changed it drastically to one per person. Now we all know many ppl will just go in ten (or more times) to different checkers or at different times or days, but I think it is just what mfrs or stores do to try to keep everyone fir. It is too bad that some really abuse things. ANd that results in stuff like anon's 9:14 post. Which really does stink!!

I meant "fair", not "fir!!"
