$14.99 At some Target Stores

I got this at Target Monday
- Price Matched w/ K-Mart Ad
- Uses $10 Target Coupon
- Used $5 Man Coupon

I did not hand over my coupons till AFTER they price matched it. The manager took the coupons, said "WO What a deal" and smiled. I walked out with this for my 5 year old for under $15 buck!

*Seems some stores are not following or know about the new price match policy. Might try this at your Target! GL

You just have to sign up, takes about 5 seconds seriously and then shop through them. You'll get a $5 signup bonus plus a certain percentage from the store you shop from.

HTH!

Little off subject, but I am so FUMING at AMAZON today. Just got off the phone with them, been calling for 3 weeks now and getting the run around about the free magazine subscription. Today, I call AGAIN because I still don't see anything about it and the lady got rude with me and told me that the others weren't telling me the truth and SHE is!!!! UGHHH!!!! I bought the $25 in the toy department all from the same store. She said I didn't check out right and basically "sorry about my luck"! So, fuming. Thinking about just mailing the darn order back to them and telling them where they can stick it!

Sorry about the Rant but I'm really fuming. Watch out for this company, I've been overcharged 2x this season and never got the mag! This company has obviously gotton too big to care about their customers.

I did the Target price match and coupons with no problem, too. Turned out to be $15.00. I handed over the coupons AFTER the price match, too. The manager was so impressed. I told her I only shop at Target now and she said, "I love you." Very sweet- nicest coupon transaction I've ever done. :)

Were you overcharged after you clicked submit order? or afterwards?

And with many of the extras (like free subscriptions) the CS rep can't fix the issue if the order wasn't placed exactly how the rules stipulated it needed to be placed. Try emailing customer servie and asking exactly why you didn't qualify and letting them know how frustrated you are. They may..."may" give you a promo for the amount the magazine would have cost..maybe.

There is nothing better than getting a truly awesome deal! I price matched at Target and used the coupons. Then I used my $5 gift card from the diaper sale last week and the castle cost me $9.99 plus tax. The guy at the service desk was quite impressed. You honestly can't do better than that!
Thanks for the tips! I love your website!

I just went to town trying to find this, but everyone is out! Can we stack the mfg coupon w/this also? My son would love this & it's a great price. I'm gonna have to snag it!

I also got it at Target today. It retails for $74.99 and I pricematched and used the 2 coupons and got it for $14.99. My nephew is going to be psyched

I was overcharged after placing the order. They double charged my CC. When I called them they did nothing about it and denied it. She told me it could have been a charge just to "check" the card.?. A alerted my bank and had it removed. Also, the magazine subscription: I put the toys in my cart and they all advertised I'd get the Parenting magazine. Then I never got it. They should have advertised the "right way to check out" on their advertisment or when I went to check out. I understand that the CSR might not have been able to put it through just on my word alone. But they shouldn't have kept me going for weeks and having me talk to different departments. I would think the company is large enough that they forgive a few people who a routine shoppers and mistakenly forget to "check out the right way". I did email them, I'm still waiting for a reply....we'll see.

Many companies will put a charge through for a test amount (usually $1.00) before they charge the entire amount. I have 2 such charges on my account now from Mrs. Fields..it is called an authorization charge.
They fall off your account after a few days and you aren't truly charged for it...it just looks like you will be.

As for the CSR's handling the issue for you..they really can't.. magazines are not sold by Amazon but rather by a subscription service who sells through Amazon....
Like I said earlier, they could give you a promo for the amount of the magazine and you could use it to order the magazine. That is normally standard practie when something like that happens..or it used to be anyway.

And for future reference, anytime you see a deal like that..there should be a blue hyperlink that says something like "more info" or "Get details" ..click that and it will tell you exactly how to get the deal they are advertising..

former CSR..lol

Hi Collin,

I just wanted to share with you another way to score a deal on the King's Castle Trio. This deal was too good to pass up, but Kmart, Target, and Amazon were all sold out in my area. I got to thinking, and decided to run to my local Toys R Us. They were willing to price match from the Kmart ad, and take both the man. Q and the Target Q for a total of $14.99. Even if they don't accept Target Qs, other readers can still score a pretty decent deal at TRU with a price match from the Kmart ad!!

Joy

PS I love your site!

Thanks to all who posted about doing this at Target. I got it for $14.99, too!! I am so excited about this deal! At first, the manager said I couldn't use the coupons, but I said, "Not even the manufactuer's?" and she just scanned them both and said, "Well, it took them." I love this site!
