So, can I use all three coupons and get three free items with one purchase? Or do I need to use these coupons in separate transactions?

Anonymous said...

Probably not, but if you know the cashier, it helps!

I still have a $10off $30 purchase. Do they allow you to use all the coupons together in one transaction?

Christan = ) said...

Yeah, I finally got my blogger account to work on here!

I'm so excited! I was headed to the mall anyway. Makes going that much better:)

Christan, can you please post the link for $10 off of #30. Thanks

I went to my Bath & Body Works the other night w/ 3 different coupons & had to do 3 different transactions :( I could've swore they used to let me use all coupons together but maybe the company has changed their rules.

OFF SUBJECT: Is there a limit to how many Cozy Socks you can get at Old Navy tomorrow for $1??

Anonymous said...

I believe the limit is 5 on the ON socks.

Jen said...

Yea, this is my favorite free item too! My three year old stole my old one out of my purse and I have yet to find it, so now I can replace it. :-)

Did I miss a post on the Old Navy socks? What's the scoop?

Christan = ) said...

I wish I still had the link for the printable. When I used my printable in the store, they gave me another one. It's good til the 24th.

Tami said...

Yes you have to do 3 separate transactions. If you read the fine print on all the coupons it will say it can not be combined with another coupon.

Love Bath and Body!!! Thanks Colin!

Is the Old Navy Sock deal tomorrow or Saturday?

Tami said...

I think Old Navy is Satuday??

Friday!

FYI- our bath and body has small gift bags for a dollar. I think that's what I'll purchase to get my lip gloss. :)

I thought this was a good a place to ask as any....what do you do/how do you handle cashiers giving you grief for say, buying a hand sanitizer and then getting something free? I have a "friend" (used loosely) who works at Victoria Secret and she's always groushing about people who "mess up her numbers" when they have a ten dollar coup and come in and buy something for ten dollars. I always want to say something snarky to her but.....i hold my tongue. I wonder how you all handle ti when cashiers get huffy w you

OT: Did anyone get the Aeropostale code for online purchases last weekend? I think it was for 25% off...Someone thru away my card!!

Ashley said...

I know what you mean... cashiers are always rude to me. No matter what I buy and how nice I am to them. I just try to eat in the back of my mind that this is what I have to do to be able to get things. My husband doesn't make a ton of money and I want to be a stay at home mom. To mean companies should not get upset over the coupons because they are the ones that make them up. If they didn't want us to buy a $1 item and get something $8 for free they should not of made the coupon say any amount

abotu cashiers... theya re so mean... this was my experience at target two days ago.
The woman saw my binder of coupons and very loudly and rudely told me to "GET A LIFE LADY" . I was soo mad. I told her that I will have more of a life than she will ever have because I save so much money by using coupons that we can do so much as a family. Then I got home and called corporate. ;)

Has anyone got there 1-800-flowers $20 promo code?

Katy said...

Oh, thank you! I love the B&BW coupons. :)

Did you all know that if you have a Victoria's Secret credit card you can use it at B&BW, too? I think it even helps you gain VS points, too.

Anonymous said...

I haven't gotten my $20 from 1-800-flowers.. I was hoping to have it for the holiday

Anonymous said...

Yes I got my $20 promo code and I have another one coming. I was able to use it to get some free popcorn from the Popcorn Factory! Just call them if you are having trouble, they are very helpful.

I know cashiers and managers are concerned about their numbers at the stores because it affects their bonuses and salaries, which obviously makes sense. I don't let their rudeness affect me.

I try to make sure I am organized with my coupons and my purchase(s) and follow the rules. I make sure I have my cash or debit card ready and I make my end of the deal easy. I don't go to a store with 40 coupons and make anyone's life miserable. I figure treat others the way I want to be treated. If I'm treated badly by a cashier I simply "smile and wish them a fabulous day". Kill them with kindness! If it was a really bad situation I don't waste my time going to the store manager - I will send a quick email to the corporate office of the particular store. Trust me that works very effectively! I also have sent emails about fabulous cashiers. In many cases I honestly think some cashiers just don't know the rules.

My advice, for what it is worth - don't take it personally. If you are following the rules of the coupon(s) and are organized with your purchase including having your money ready then you have done your part.

Colin - you rock!!

I was there yesterday and the nail file was 1.00 and 25% off. Used it as my item to buy for .75 and got my signature item for free!!

i worked retail for many years, and yes, getting items for free does ruin $ per sales and $/ per hour, but i always found, that if i was nice to those people coming in for a free item, when it came time for them to spend money on gifts, they would come back to purchase from me...

and now that im not in retail, and money is limited, i do not waste my time or money in stores who look down upon me for using coupons, if they do not want my money and coupon, another store will..

Anon, I still hadn't received my $40 from 1-800 flowers from signing up friends and family (reminders) and I just called them about 10 mins ago. There was no recording and I went directly to a nice CSR named Howard. It took him about 5 mins, but he credited the $40 to my account without any problems. I'd suggest giving them a call. RE: Coupon attitudes

Read most of these coupons like the Victoria Secret Pink and it's obvious they are trying to get new customers in the door. I don't shop at VS (They don't have my bra size and they changed the way they make the second skin satin panties.) b/c they don't have anything for me. Bath and Body Works has better prices on sprays/lotions and I buy premium fragrances from places like Ulta and dept. stores.

BUT I went with my free tank coupon and spent $10 I wouldn't have spent there otherwise. They were beyond rude and made me feel like I was stealing. I will not shop there again regardless of the sale or coupon!! We spent over $200 on fragrance gifts (Macys, Ulta and BBW) that weekend and only $10 at Victoria Secret.

If they are worried about sales numbers, they should assist customers and be friendly. Marketing depts. come up with promotions for a reason. Stores and customers both lose with these promotional blunders.

TAMI-
yep, I think all of us go in as organized and ready as possible, always smiling, and never trying to "scam the system", but it still never gives them the right to tellme to "get a life".
Even if that had been someone standing behind me that said it, it was JUST PLAIN RUDE. I like to say something back nicely, but firmly and handle things farther with Mgnt/corporate. No need to make a scene, but no need to think they can talk to the next person that way either.

Annon.
how did you get free popcorn? is there a free shipping code for them?

Anonymous said...

Personally I have never had a problem with Victoria Secret. I also never spend much many times I've came in and not bought a thing just got my free panties. I had a ton of secret santa caards and have been going there alot finding a $10 item and just paying tax. Never a problem. Don't let one cashiers rude behavior keep you from a good sale. There is going to always be a cashier who wants to be rude but they must follow the rules so if your following the rules they have to let you use your coupon!! Show them who's Boss. lol

Those coupons are amazing!!! I just came back from the store. I bought a lipstick for $7 and a $4 hand sanitizer and got free $12.50 sented plug in set (coupon 1). Then another transaction I got a $1.50 hand sanitizer and got $5 lotion free (coupon 2) and another $1.50 hand sanitizer and got $5 body wash free (coupon 3) and then a I bought another hand santizer for $1.50 and got $8 lipgloss free (coupon 4). So all together I paid ~$15 and got 3 little hand sanitizer, one big hand sanitizer, 1 body lotion, one body wash, and a sented plug in set all in warm vanilla sugar and 2 lipsticks. Then I went to Hallmark used 2 $5 coupons (yes they accepted both)for a $10 warm vanilla yankee candle and a card and paid $1.09!!! What a deal!!!!! Now I will wrap it all up and it will make a beautiful, expensive looking birthday gift for a friend :-)

Nobody gave me a hard time but the lady at bath and body works looked at me like I was robbing the store especially since at the end i asked for wrapping paper and a bow :-)

Thank you for all you do for us. I did a lot of my shopping today and was happy to see this coupon and Walgreens before I headed out the door. I had a wonderful experience at both places and even had cashiers help me come up with the best deals and use my coupons. BBW cashier even gave me a coupon to help me out. At both places I had saved more then I spent, by a lot:)

Wahoo! I just went to B&B Works and got a bunch of free stuff - over $20 worth and I only spent $15 - awesome! You have to do the three coupons in three transactions. The great thing is the lip product and the travel size item are free for ANY purchase. I picked up some little hand sanitizers for $1.50 each and got a $7.50 lip gloss and a $4.00 body spritz. How cool is that!

I too had a bad experience with VS telling me I couldn't use a $10 off your purchase unless I bought $10 (which the coupon did not state). I came home and emailed corporate. They were very apologetic and asked for my address to send me a 30% off coupon. Also contacted corporate Walmart when they wouldn't modify my coupons down the the price. The store manager called me the next day and apologized.

I went to Old Navy a few hrs ago, in Tanasborne,OR & the cashier told me the cozy sock deal is Saturday.

I'm sorry for everyone that had a bad experience with cashiers. I'm new to couponing, so I haven't had an incident yet. But, for that cashier who said to "get a life," I would have wanted to say, "I saved more money than you make an hour with these coupons." I doubt I'd say it, but I'd definitely think it. Haha.
