I LOVE Direct Buy. We have been members for a little while now and they have saved us soooo much money!:)
I have been interested to check it out but curious to know how much they charge for membership.
A few years back, we went to a free night at Direct Buy and it was a total scam! They show you all of these ridiculous videos and then make the husband and wife separate, so they can try to sell you on it alone. Then, they "give you time to talk to your spouse" about it.
DH and I were both thinking NO WAY!
Now, if you do a lot of projects, it's probably a good deal. However, the way the set up the process of you becoming a member is kind of slimey.
My friend is a member - costs thousands of dollars to join - just an FYI
we did it seven years ago. We disliked not being able to see and touch what we were buying. Then we had a problem with our treadmill (which we purchased thru DB), without a middle man store, it took forever to have it fixed. We too thought it was kinda a scam how they power talk you and push, push, push you to sign THAT night.
