Also select other Crest toothpastes are on clearance for only .75. You could use the $1 coupon from the 2/8PG to get a little overage or you could use the .75 coupon from the 3/1PG. Either way you'll snag them for FREE too!
Update: One of my readers, Lacy, just emailed me this:
"Some Walgreens have a tearpad by the Crest or a Crest display on the short aisles near the beauty counter. These tearpad coupons are to send in your receipt where you purchased the toothpaste. They will mail you a coupon for a FREE 4.2 oz. Crest Pro-Health. I grabbed several. Just make the readers aware that these tearpads do exist."

I'm just curious. Do you usually buy bulk coupons online. If so, how long does it take to recieve them in the mail to take advantage of this kind of deal?
Yes, I will buy coupons in bulk on EBay when I know of a great deal that's going on. Usually when you buy on EBay it takes anywhere from 4-10 days to receive your coupons.
Hi
I wanted to let you know that I love your blog :)
So this Sunday we are getting 3 inserts. Do you think there are many valuable coupons that can be used for future deals and suggest buying more than one copy?
Thanks!
I'm doing a post on that right now. Stay tuned... :)
I'm new to your site and am trying to figure out your "coupon jargon" (as you put it) but I still am at a loss as to how I get to many of the coupons such as the Crest one from the "2/8PG" - what does the "2/8PG" mean and how do I access it?
Hi Maria,
The 2/8PG means the Proctor and Gamble coupon insert found in the 2/8 Sunday Newspaper. If you don't have access to that coupon insert, then you can always order coupons off EBay. Just type in the search box Crest coupons and they will come up. It usually costs about $1-$2 to purchase a lot of 10-20 coupons.
I hope this helps answer your questions.
Hi - I've really been excited about these deals and have followed your advice to a T with good success. However, 3 of my 4 closest Walgreens will not honor any type of coupon overage! They won't even accept the coupon up to the value of the product, so I've been left red-faced at the front of the line and had them remove the items that didn't work! At one Walgreens it worked fine because the cashier keyed in the code info, but the others said they've been instructed not to accept these coupons. Any ideas?
To make this fantastic deal even better, there was a tearpad on the Crest display at Walgreen's for a mail-in rebate. Purchase one pro-health toothpaste, send in your receipt, and Crest will send you a coupon for a free one.
Triana,
I'm so sorry they have been giving you problems with overage. The only advice I can really suggest is to buy, for example, 2 Crest Pro-Health products and just use one $1 coupon. You'll end up paying more out of pocket, but you'll get back the $1 Register Reward making both of them FREE!
thanks for the info. I went this morning and bought 4 boxes of toothpaste. They were all on clearance and I also used coupons that I had for ........75 off.Awesome deal. All, I almost forgot the cosmetic lady told me tomorrow morning only they are having some special demo on garnier face products and she said theres lots of samples and coupons. I think I found one very nice lady that works there. (for the people that read my post from old navy).
Nicole,
I'm so glad you've found a nice cashier! That makes all the difference!:)
I am not lucky today. I found the crest prohealth for 95 cents.i used 1$ off but do not let me use this . what should i say to the cashier...
I would tell her that they get reimbursed for the whole $1 amount of the coupon. You using a coupon is the same as paying with cash.
Thank you very much. i also see the vacuum clearance for 39.99 and we can do 20$ rebate.
it comes out to be 19.99 for a gazelle vacuum.
I had 3 coupons for the Crest toothpaste, so I picked up 3 of the pro-health (night)...95 cents each (I'm in WI). The 1st 2 $1 off went through no problem but then the last one beeped...it eventually went through for 95 cents. I'm not sure if she adjusted it or what (she didn't say/teenager? or collage student?)...was that right on her part? because the coupon was for $1 but I didn't get the full amount.
I did get a $1 RR. Should I have split those transactions up with other items for the overage to have gotten additional $1 RR on each one?
Yes, next time make sure to split the same RR transactions up. If you had split them up you would have gotten 3 $1 RRs.
When I did this I didn't get a $1RR :(
For those of you having problems with the coupon beeping because it is over the amount of the product, simply purchase one additional item (that you do not intend to keep) and then after the coupons have been scanned ask the checker to remove the one item as you had changed your mind about it and that way no beeping, no arguing with the cashier, and you get your overage. :)
