Walmart Deals & Freebies
Walmart Deals:
(Remember that Walmart does price match local competitors ads. This is very helpful when items are out of stock at other stores. For example, Target has a $15 sale on Leapfrog games this week. If you notice all the games are out of stock or they don't have any of the games available you want to purchase, then just bring in Target's ad to Walmart and they'll match the price for you. You'll even be able to use the $5 coupon from coupons.com!)

**Please remember that Walmart's prices do vary a little from region to region.
**You may want to bring along Walmart's corporate coupon policy in case you have any issues. In their policy it states they DO accept Internet Coupons. If a cashier tells you otherwise just whip out their coupon policy!:)

Do you know which coupon book the kraft is in? Is it the RP or the SS?? Thanks so much!
The Kraft dressing coupon is in the 3/29 Smartsource insert. :)
Sigh....I searched again and do not think I have the Kraft...onto ebay in search of them I guess...lol
Thank you for adding Walmart's coupon policy! I used to get on the internet all the time looking for coupons (manufacturers) to print out and save. Then one day a cashier informed me they no longer except them? I don't know the reason because she didn't have one..I'm presuming they thought they were fake or something? So I lost about $10.00 in savings that day.
I will be sure to print out the page and bring it next time along with my printed internet coupons!
Is it Walmart's policy to price match? About 2 months ago our local Kroger had a 10 for $10 sale. I called our Walmart and asked if they did price matching. They asked what I was wanting them to match a price on. When I told them it was the 10 for $10 items they said they wouldn't match those prices. Did they go against the corporate policy? Is there a policy in writing I could use as "ammunition" next time?
Walmarts policy is to price match certain items and I'm sure each Walmart varies a little on what they will match. Here is these guidlines off their corporate site:

Schick Disposable Razors $1.97
Us the $2 coupon from the 2/8SS
Final cost FREE!
That coupon expired 3/22
Thanks for letting me know! I will go ahead and delete it.
i did pricematch at walmart the other day and they said that i was not allowed to do both a price match and a coupon...anybody have anything to say to that??
So bummed my Tri-Cents thingy wasn't on sale for $4. It was a whopping 7.82! UGH...Oh wells. Didn't hurt to try but I did get some avennos for .97 and the oust. Plus some free buddies soaps. YAY!
What they told you is WRONG. I would call Walmart corporate regarding this. A manuf. coupon has nothing to do with the sale price or price match of an item. They'll get every cent back from the coupon you use by the manufacturer, so it should not matter.
You might be able to get something in writing from corporate about this too.
Where are the Seventh Generation Wipes? By the baby wipes? I've looked at two of my Walmarts and can't find them. Maybe my stores don't carry them I guess....darn.
Tapuosi Family,
I would call your Walmart and talk to the stores manager (if you haven't already) and question it.
I worked for Walmart for 3 years..2 being in the accounting office and I asked our assistant mgr. about the comp/coupon method. She said yes we can do that! She said that we want the customers business, and if we didn't match and take the coupon, that we would lose the sale because the customer can easily say "well no thank you then" and go to the store featuring the sale price and use the coupon.
I did hear about the the not being excepting the 10/$10 deals...but I don't recall what the reason was. That would be a good question to ask as well! I mean I would think you could use the coupon at the store featuring the 10/$10 deal....?
I went to Walmart the other day to use my wonderful Kraft dressing coupon of $1.50 off making the dressing only .08!
Of course the register beeped the coupon and said "item not found"?????? The coupon was for 16 oz. any flavor and I grabbed 16 oz. Green Goddess. She knew I had the Kraft item correctly so she hand punched the coupon in for me thank goodness. I'm not sure why it beeped though.
THank you sooo much for posting this bit of info! I was shot down so many times w/net coupons that I quit trying. I just got off the phone with the assis mgr at my local Walmart, telling her that I'm looking at corporate's coupon policy in front of me, yet her cashiers refuse to take my net coupons...and she said that if I ever had a problem again to simply ask for the manager and they would clear things up (and she apologizied, letting me know that they did NOT want me having to go to diff't stores to use the coupons). So BIG thanks! This will probably save me $1-$5 per week.
