I want to thank you for putting this together for us. I was so excited yesterday when I found out my store was doing up to $2.00 that I started to put a list together right away! This helps me out so much. Thank you for all you do :)

BTW the list is HUGE!!!

Jen D said...

You are the best! Thanks so much for putting the list together especially since your store isn't participating.

I love your site! I bet I check it 10 times a day at work! LOL

2migirlsmom said...

I don't know if you had the Band-Aid will be 0.49. Simple Green will be around 0.79 with the coupon on coupons.com. LA Makeup coupon in All You would make it free too.

Kate said...

Wow, thank you so much for this! I never shop at KMart so I have no idea what their normal prices are on things.

The $5 off coupon says "after other discounts have been applied" and "Cannot be combined with any other coupon for the same item(s)" - Is that really true or will they let you use it on stuff you used coupons for?

Hip2Save said...

Kate,
When the coupon states this it's meaning that the coupon cannot be combined with any other Kmart dicounts or coupons. Manufacturer coupons are like cash to the store, so you should be able to have them scan the Kmart coupon first before any of your manufacturer coupons ae scanned.

evilstepmommy29 said...

I was looking at my Kmart flyer, in the small print for the double coupons, and it says "Limit 25 coupons per customer per day." Have anyone had to stick to this? Or is it all about getting the "right" cashier?

Hip2Save said...

It's all about getting the "right" cashier!:)

Together We Save said...

Wow your list is huge. I am so jealous I don't have a Kmart within 100 miles doubling coupons.

April said...

If I use a $4.00 do I get $6.00 off? Thanks for all your help!!

Hip2Save said...

April,
Are you in the region that is doubling up to $4 value coupons or just $2 values?

Also what item are you talking about when you are saying will it double up to $6?

April said...

My store is doing up to $2.00 doubles, but I would like to use the Schick coupon for $4.00 off so I was wondering if I would get $6.00 off? Hope that make sense!

Laura said...

Thank you so much for this great list. I'm sure it was a lot of work to put together!

2migirlsmom said...

Each of the past times with doubles, I have used the $5 off coupon with each trip. They even let me use it at the end because once a cashier rang up each item and each coupon together. It even went through without a beep then too.

Hip2Save said...

April,
If your store is only doubling up to $2 value coupons, then the $4 Schick coupon will not double at all.

Anonymous said...

what region are all you from? My K-Mart hardly EVER has double coupons :(

Anonymous said...

At my store it depends on the cashier if you can use the $5 off coupon.
As for the 25 limit. I only get 25 items and then i go to my car and go back in for the next 25 items. Repeat and shop. Repeat and shop.

Hip2Save said...

My Kmart is not doubling either this time. I just made up this list for the kmarts that are doubling.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if they will take internet coupons? I read an e-mail somewhere that said they don't, so I was wondering if they are firm about sticking to this.

Hip2Save said...

Anon,
In the fine print for the double coupon promotion it doesn't exclude IP coupons anymore, so I think they are now accepting them at most locations.

Anonymous said...

thank you so much for this, my mom lives by a kmart that does this i've been trying for a looooong time to convince her to try and save on her shopping, she thinks it is to overwhelming, i cut and pasted your post and deleted anything without a link to a printable coupon, hoping she would see how easy it can be

fran said...

Hip2Save, It's amazing that you did all this for us. Thank you so much. I bet that took some time to compile. When I went over to kmart.com to see if my store is doing doubles (they are, $2.00 will be doubled), I found a good coupon. I clicked on "coupon center" and found a coupon for Free 24 pk. American Fare water with $50.00 purchase of health, beauty, or pantry items, $2.99 value, limit 1. The ad states they are 3/$10.00, so you'll probably have to pay $.34-not bad. I'm not printing mine until I'm ready to go as I don't know what kind of expiration date it would have. I've never printed a coupon from their site before. Since your list is sooo long, I wanted to copy and paste it, then make a copy. Is that OK with you?

lily field furniture said...

I just saw on another blog that they will take IP coupons but only at face value (not doubling). I HOPE NOT!!! Does anyone know any more about this??

Sharon said...

My friend Becky at bargainsbythebagful, wrote a post about the offer from Glamour magazine. Buy $50 at Kmart and get a $25 KMART gift card. Click here for details: http://bargainsbythebagfull.blogspot.com/2009/04/k.html#comments

Hip2Save said...

Fran,
Yes, that is fine!:)

Chris, heidi, Eden,
The register will double IP coupons automatically. Kmart also just came out with a press release recently that said they now take IP coupons. I have never had ANY problems having my IP coupons doubled.

I guess it all depends on the cashier you get, but I think most stores are getting better about letting us use them.

lily field furniture said...

thank you! I was so worried my whole organized free list was going to be ruined!

Kate said...

I'm confused by the very first thing - the cereal. Wouldn't you pay $6, and then get the $5 card and pay 25 cents per box?

Thank you so much!

Pami said...

Girl - you ROCK!!! Thanks for putting together such an incredible list!!

Your post w/ pics re: your epic Kmart trip last month is my inspiration ;-)

Hip2Save said...

Kate,

The cereal is $2.50 each, so when you purchase one box and use the $1coupon from the 4/5RP; each box will only be .50 (after the $1 coupon is doubled). Your total for 4 boxes will be $2 and then you'll be able to submit for the $5 gift card. Final cost FREE + a $3 moneymaker.

Does that make sense?

Chris said...

I have some coupons for a free 64 oz ocean spray juice when I purchase 2 boxes of Smart Start Cereal. Assuming KMART has both items, can I piggy-back these on the Kelloggs deal you mention and add 2 free juices to my free cereal? (4 Smart Start, 2 juices, for a $3 money maker?)

Anonymous said...

It looks like you get a $1 instant coupon on general mills cereals or granola bars if you buy 3. The cereals appear to be on sale for $2. Does anyone know if any of the granola bars are as well? I have a bunch of coupons that I need to use before they expire.

Hip2Save said...

I just updated the post with the General Mills Cereal deal. If the Honey Nut cheerios are on sale for $2, then the doubled IP coupon I have posted will make each box FREE!

Also, I added the Capri Sun deal. The 10 pks are on sale for $2. Combine with the $1 coupon that will be available in the 4/19 insert to snag FREE capri Sun!

Anonymous said...

What am I supposed to do if my Kmart says they aren't doubling, but I have a email from corporate saying they are? As well the weekly ad says they are too! Should I just take the email to them and be like "here look!"?

laura c

Hip2Save said...

Laura,
If your weekly ad states they are doubling, then you'll have no issues. When the cashier scans your coupon the register will automatically double them, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Heidi said...

WOW!!!!

Anonymous said...

splena $3/2 should net some free splenda..I think it is in the All You april or march not sure.

Hip2Save said...

Anon,
Great tip about the Splenda. That reminds me, there is also printable Splenda coupons. I'll go ahead and add this to the deal list.

Anonymous said...

thanks for your hard work! When I click on the link to print the Nature's Bounty vitamin- it prints off a listerine coupon? Any one else have luck?

LisaC said...

I went to my Kmart today to "scout-out" some deals, and I checked for dates on some of the sales--Capri Sun ends Saturday. They were what I was really excited about getting free! Oh Well, they'll still be cheap..Some sales end on the 18th, some on 5/11.

Hip2Save said...

I fixed the Nature's Bounty link. Sorry about that!

Hip2Save said...

Lisa,
The Capri Sun sale is strange because it remains on sale for $2 till Tuesday, the 21st if you have a super Kmart... at least that's what is stated in the ad.

Anonymous said...

Is anyone else having issues with the 2nd link for the GM cereal and/or the clean & clear site? I've registered for both but after sign on and click on the coupon link it makes me sign in again. I just keep going in circles but never actually get to the coupon.

Anonymous said...

Can you give your advice on the best way to tackle this? Should I plan on just getting the 25 coupon amount worth Sunday morning and then go to a different KMart until I am finished? I just noticed on your last post when KMart did this that you must have done a lot more than 25? I am just scared if I get up there with more that I will have to put things back and such... What is your advice on checking out and going to more than 1 store? Thanks SO much! This is my first time doing doubles (coupons really)!

Monica McCoy said...

Thank you! Thank you Thank you! This is SOOO helpful!

Natalie Park said...

I am from Utah. Does anyone know of any Kmart stores are doing the double coupons?

PLEASE HELP! I swear I have looked at almost every single ad! Thanks!

Hip2Save said...

Anonymous,
It all depends on what you feel comfortable doing. This may sound odd, but when I walk in Kmart I always look at the cashiers first, then from there I decided if I'm going to get more then 25 items. Some cashiers tend to look more coupon friendly, usually the young guys!

If you're are worried about having to put items back, then I would suggest just doing 25 and then going to another Kmart.

Anonymous said...

Thanks so much for the list. What a great time saver. This is my third time with Kmart doubles. Wow, what a great stock up opportunity.

mathmomof2 said...

What an amazing list! You are awesome! My kmart did not participate last time so this will be my first attempt. I was curious about the coupons that say Do Not Double or Triple. Will they stick to that?
THANKS!!

LisaC said...

mathmomof2-I have found that if the register automatically doubles, like at Kroger, they ignore the do not double wording on the internet coupons. Of course, ONCE AGAIN, it can depend on the cashier. It's so funny, but I have always found the young boys are MUCH more laid back. My son was a cashier at Walmart, and I can just see him letting anything slide :) Although I hate to stereo-type, middle-aged female cashiers tend to be the grumpiest! I PROMISE I'M NOT BEING MEAN!! JUst truthful(from my experiences), unfortunately.

Anonymous said...

i aready have sunday coupons, but dont have any J&J coupons are they regional? thanks

melissa said...

wow - that is really generous of you to share the deals, when you are not able to get the deals yourself!

What about coupons that say "Not Subject to Doubling"? For example, the Wet Ones coupon from a Feb. Insert?

I'm looking forward to a shopping trip early in the week!

Julie said...

Thanks so much for compiling this list! You rock. I check your site all the time. This is the first time my Kmart is doubling! I am excited!

Hip2Save said...

Anonymous,
The Johnson's $2 coupon may be regional. I'm not positive, though.

Melissa,
Read LisaC post. I agree with what she said. The coupon will double even with the do not double wording, so it does all depend on the cashier.

Anonymous said...

I just contacted my local Kmart and they are telling me that I can have no more than $40 in coupons!

LisaC said...

Anon-
I would take the big red ad on the front of the Kmart circular with you-it says nothing about a $40.00 max.
Kmart has the new Marcal Small Steps paper products on sale-T.P. and Paper towels. The paper towels are on sale for $2.79, and there was a coupon in the 4/5 inserts for 1.00 off. That will make them .79-which might for a good time to try them!!

Suave haircare and body wash is in the ad for 3/$5. There is a unilever coupon (don't know what wk) that is worth $1.75/3 and one for $1/2. They expire 5/24. That would make 3 for $1.50 or 2 for $1.33. The coupon is only good for hair products. Thanks for the list this is a big time saver, especially since my closest Kmart is a 20 min drive. Oh and my mom works at Kmart as a manager so I will ask her about the doubling question. It shouldn't be a problem though because it would be too much trouble to program the registers to not do it to certain coupons.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know which Kelloggs cereals apply for the cereal deal?

Heidi said...

Re: Kellogg's cereal, I know Corn Pops & Rice Krispies for certain -- it definitely was skewed more kid cereal. Unfortunately not Special K!

the halls printable says "do not double" do they stick to this?

The Halls coupon will still double automatically anyway. the only problem you may encounter is if the cashier notices the wording and doesn't allow you to use the coupon.

I am getting really frustrated because none of the coupons everyone is listing for these doubles was in my SS - must be a regional thing? I am missing out on these good deals! :(

Marcie,
My local paper does not usually have the good coupons so I buy the Milwaukee Journal. It has all the good coupons and higher value ones. So I would try and get the "big city" paper if you are able to versus the local, you pay a little more but I think it is worth it. :)

Your mega list = gold once again! THANK YOU!!

I got a great cashier who i asked up front if i could do 2 transactions using a $5 off $50 Q on each, no problem (as long as they were 25 Qs max each). So combined, i got $107 worth of stuff for $3.57+tax!

I still had the $2 All Small & Mighty Qs, so i got those for .79 each (sale price: $4.79).

Also some great clearance finds - especially St Ives scrubs and masks (used $1 and $2 Qs, making them free)

I live in a small town with only one Kmart. My BF & I 'teach' a class on how to coupon and get the most bang for your buck. She spoke with a manager yesterday at our local Kmart and the manager told her that someone 'tried' to create their own printable coupons so my local Kmart is now really cracking down on this event. We have to put the coupon on top of the item so the cashier can make sure you are getting the correct item that goes with that coupon. I however didn't run into that problem yesterday morning...I too scoop out the cashiers on my way in and went to a very adorable young man. I paid $4 for over $60 of products!!!

BTW - thanks so much for compiling a list of AWESOME DEALS!!!

8 cent poerade. Powerade is on sale for .79 (chicago), Just powerade not the zero one, but still a good deal. If you live near a Jewel (not sure about other grocery stores, we have a .75cent q off 2. This makes the powerade 8 cent each. I bought 6 at a time and 2 baby wash/lotions and paid 1.37 and that is with chicago taxes..people behind me were amazed. Also check the clearance makeup section. I found some Kiss decals for 1.50, for my daughter and i had a 1.00q from the Kmart book that doubled to free. In total today i have spent 6 dollars on 12 powerades, 4 bodywash/lotion (2 of each), nail decal, sally hansen clearanced nail hardner, tweezers, 2 packs of sunflower seeds (10/10 and had 1.00/2 q from a magazine= free), 2 juicy juice 8 packs, the new st ives cleanser (green one) on clearance 3.84, had 2.00q = free, and a few more. Thanks hipto save you are amazing.

I just want to let you know that my husband and I did a total of 6 transactions at our local K marts yesterday and we saved sooooo much money. I am also proud to say that I didn't look at your list until I was done and I bought nearly everything on your list. I'm finally beginning to feel like I know what I'm doing with this whole coupon thing.

thanks for everything you do.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but does double "up to an including $2 value" mean that the most you can get off is $2 or $4 (are they only doubling $1 up to $2 off or $2 up to $4 off?)

Hip2Save said...

Thriftymom,
That is not a dumb question!:)
When it says up to and including $2values-that means that a $2 coupon can be doubled up to $4.

Ok, I have a few issues with KMart--went shopping yesterday and these are my problems:
1. Half of the things you have coupons for--KMart does NOT have them. Their selection stinks--and yes, I went to a Super KMart. I left with over half of my coupons unused.
2. They will NOT let you make money on coupons--they had to touch a square on their screen at checkout that went along with your item--that way, you were not getting money back, you just got the item for free.
3. The KMart I went to had issues with any coupons printed from the computer--if they scanned, then great--but if not, they were not allowed to enter them in manually.

I did get some great deals, but it was not even close to what I've seen on here. Maybe it's just the KMart by me?

Hip2Save,
Thanks so much for this awesome list. I went to KMart yesterday for round 1 and was really pleased with the results. I'm wondering if anyone knows how the Kellogg's cereal deal works. Is there a limit to how many deals you can do at once? Or, could I buy 5 sets of 4 different cereals all at once and get a $20 rebate?
Thanks! Michelle

so i called my kmart and they told me that they are doing the double coupons but they said if you buy an item for say $3.00 and have a $2.00 coupon for that item they will not coupon it so you cant get the item for free...is that true??

Hip2Save said...

melissa,
No, that is NOT true. If you purchase an item for $3 and use a $2 coupon, then the coupon will deduct $2 and then the doubled amount will be $1-making the item free. The cashiers have no control over this and the coupon will double automatically up to the value of the item.

You will never get overage during Kmart doubles, but you will be able to score lots of free items. I would just disregard what the person told you over the phone.

Seriously, thanks for such a thorough list! I went today and picked up some things and have plans to get more tomorrow!
Out of curiousity, I printed out some of the coupons you had listed, such as for the Suave Lotion. It would only allow you to print out one, but do you know if they were photocopied if you could use more than one?
Thanks thanks thanks again!

As someone else said, our "Big K" did not carry a lot of the items on the list, especially cleaning supplies. I left not being able to use a lot of coupons.

Also, the prices at our K-Mart were MUCH higher than what is posted here or I have seen in price books. I mean, CRAZY high. If it hadn't been for the double coupons, I never would have been there.

Lastly, our K-Mart had no problem with my Internet printables at all. The cashier did count and check to make sure I only had 25 though. He said they were being very strict about that.

My local Kmart did not have the double coupons on their sale paper, but I decided to call yesterday and ask, anyhow. They assured me that the coupons were going through as double. I spent the afternoon/evening gearing up for this, and then went in first thing this morning. I checked again at the service desk, and they said that even though it wasn't in their ad, the coupons were in fact doubling. I had sorted my coupons between health & beauty, cleaning stuff, pet stuff, and food. I shopped solely for health & beauty this morning, but in hindsight I should have done some grocery, too - to use the $5 off coupon. I paid $18 for $50 worth of stuff. Not as awesome as others have done, but not too bad!

My major frustration with Kmart is that the prices at my store (Indiana) are much higher than the ones listed on the three blogs I checked. Quite a few of the health & beauty items were at least $1 more! I only ever shop at Kmart when they are running this special!

Has anyone used the Huggies coupons for wipes? I tried, and the cashier wouldn't let me - she said they're only for the body wash, etc. She had already scanned one, and the screen popped up where she had to select the item the coupon was for. I asked her to please try it anyway for the wipes, and she refused. I'm going back later, and will try again with a different cashier! I figure I've got all week to get them to let me have free wipes!

Fiber said...

Yes, I recommend trying a different cashier and also remaining firm. I took a copy of the ad just to be sure, as well as a copy that said they accept internet coupons. One of the cashiers tried to say that they didn't accept them, but I proudly said, "Well, I was here last night and they accepted them."

In all, I was able to get $82.03 worth of stuff for $24.11. Not shabby at all.

*Also, in the most recent 4/19SS, there are $1 off coupons for SaniKids handwipes. These are $2.49 each at Walmart so I got 3 containers for .49 each.

ilja said...

you only need one coupon per item. If an item s $3.99 and has a $2 coupon, then you will have $3.99 deducted.

Is this TRUE!

FYI to anyone in the Raleigh area, the Kmart in Cary is NOT participating. I just wasted an hour and a half there before I found out at the register :( They used to participate so I don't know what is going on.

Jen said...

Well, I went back a second time around noon, and tried again with the Huggies coupons. I chose the ONLY young guy running a register! He took them for the wipes just fine, except that he used a $1.50 coupon (total $3) on a $1.99 package of wipes instead of choosing the $2.50 package. I started asking him to do the more expensive one, and he hit the cheaper one - then said, "It's not popping up with that one." Um, hello - I could see the screen! It DID pop up! Oh, well. I still only paid 50 cents for 3 small packs and 2 large packs of wipes!

Thank you so much for taking the time to compile and update this list! It is much appreciated!

My Kmart in Illinois is always a lot higher priced than Target. I only bought items that were a savings over Target's regular prices. My Kmart would not apply the $5 off $50 coupon until after all my coupons were taken off. I even talked to the manager and he showed me the fine print. Bummer. They were not counting how many coupons were used. Before coupons my total was $70.40 and I paid $22.83. Couldn't use the $5 coupon:(

My Kmart had almost all of the Fit&Fresh containers half price. I picked up the salad shaker and the lunch on the go for $5 each and there was a $1 coupon inside so today I went back and got another one for $3.

Thanks for helping us save money! I love your website.

In my store on Sunday I saw that the PhisoDerm facial cleansers had $2 peelies on them. The regular price was $4.99, so I got two good-sized bottles (all they had) for 99 cents each. That seemed like a good deal to me!

Thank you for putting together this list!!

I went last night and it was such a pain in the butt!! I'm in NE Ohio and my nearby KMart has ridiculously high prices! I'm not sure how it stays in business considering there is a Target and WalMart within a mile of the store. I'm not the only one that thought this, as the store was littered with coupons - even with doubling it could be found cheaper elsewhere! I took hubby along and 100 coupons to potentially use... we did one transaction and used less than 20 coupons.

My cashier insisted that the $5/$50 coupon couldn't be used - it wouldn't even take she said. I asked that she scan it anyway, just to try. Wouldn't you know it worked! I spent $28 for $85 worth of products. Two of my best finds were Edge Series shaving cream (.69) and John Frieda shampoo/conditioner (.49). The John Frieda is BOGO 50% off, and I used 2 $2/1 coupons to get $8 off!

I hope everyone is having better luck then me... I'm still so disappointed about the high prices here!

Well, I have been to K-Mart every day this week and got some really big savings. My main complaint with K-Mart is that once the cheap or free coupon items are gone...that's it, they don't re-stock..I think this is deliberate, but oh well!! Today I yielded 2 free glade candles. It doesn't help that die hard couponers were lying in wait at 4 am Sunday and gleamaed the shelves clean. spread the love people!!!

I'm being advised by Kmart that their policy when you have a coupon for multiple items (i.e. $2/3) is that the coupon will not double if the coupon amount is equal to more than the retail price of a single item.

So for example- if something is $3/5 ($1.66 each) and you have a coupon that is $2/3 it will not double because the $2 coupon is more than $1.66.

Anonymous said...

Thank you so much! I did not even get that much stuff at Kmart today but did get $39.22 worth of stuff for $4.22!! How exciting!

I noticed this deal and didn't see it on your list so I wanted to let you know because it's a pretty good one. Purex laundry detergent is on sale @ 4/$10 (50 oz. liquid). Use 2 BOGO coupons (internet pirntable)+ (2) $.35/1. In the end it will come to $4.30 for all 4 laundry detergents! PLUS if your area is doing the Super Doubles then you could get an even sweeter!

I love this site so very much and I want to first thank you for taking time to research and share your findings freely. In Jacksonivlle, Fl K-Mart will not accept internet printable coupons during the double days. Beware before you go and some will on take 25 coupons at a time..
