Alright, once again I need to get something off my chest...
This site is NOT a site about debating, arguing or mean comments. I want my site to be upbeat and positive. A place you can count on when you want to save money and make the most of your coupon stash. I'm by NO means perfect and this blog isn't either.
I also want you all to know that I can't please everyone. I try... but it's impossible to do! I also try to always follow the rules when it comes to couponing and saving money. However, there is usually somewhat of a grey area on such topics of store coupon policies, using coupons correctly, buying the correct products and the list goes on. Like I said above, I'm not PERFECT and definitely don't know everything there is to know about coupons.
Lots of deals I post on here will be YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) type situations. Meaning that the deal may work for one person, but may not for another. This happens a lot when I post deals about buy one get one free sales and using 2 coupons. Some cashiers will allow it, some won't. You can read my thoughts on this issue here.
I'm sorry for not always being accurate with the deals I post. I do make mistakes all the time and can't guarantee that I won't in the future. What I can guarantee is that I WILL try to post the very best deals for all of you and help each of you SAVE money. I mean, that is what my site's about, isn't it?
Lets all try to keep things upbeat. I think it's great when we try to work as a team and not against one another. One example is when we "Coupon Hunt" on OldNavyWeekly.com. I had so much fun on those nights and it wasn't just because of the high value coupons... it was actually because of all the great comments posted and the way we were helping one another out.
To sum it up, I'm a young sensitive mom trying to pinch my pennies and help all of you do the same. You can read more about my family and I here. Now lets get back to our regularly scheduled program!

Well, I'm not sure where this is coming from and I don't want to know (that is private for you), but if someone is emailing you or hasseling you then I say "SHAME ON THEM!!!" because you are just human. You are to be applauded for all your hard work and the TREMENDOUS amount of time, energy and effort I know you must put into this blog. I LOVE your blog. I think you do a great job and have saved my family a lot of money. I know the deals don't always go perfectly and don't expect them to. We can each read the info. and decide whether we are comfortable trying the deal or not(ie: B1G1 w/2 coupons). Thanks for offering great information. Keep up the good work!

I know that your post was directed to quell any nastiness, and wasn't intended to get all this praise, but I have to agree with all the former posters...this site is invaluable. I started couponing a month ago, after my wage at my job was severely cut just when my husband's child support payment to his ex-wife for my two wonderful stepkids went severely up. These are not good times for many families. I depend on these websites, and yours is at the top of my bookmarked favorites. I work from 8-5 and use my lunch hour and trek home from work to pick up deals. I cannot spend the time in stores to hunt the deals, and I untterly depend on this and a few other sites. YOu cannot know how your sites help us. A sincere thank you.

Couponing is a lot of work and your blog cuts some of the work out for your readers. I know I blog because I like the positive feedback. I hope those peoples' unfriendly comments do not discourage you in posting all the deals.
I know it sounds juvenile, but if they don't like what you write, then they don't have to read it.
There are nicer ways to state an opposing opinions.

I'm sorry to hear you are getting negative comments. I believe we all just have to do what feels right to us. Some "deals" I jump on while others don't feel right so I pass. I think that's a personal decision we each have to make.

Love your web-site, check it all the time. You have saved my family tons of money. I have always loved to shop and find great deals but you have taken it to a new level! I am always amazed at what you can accomplish on a daily basis along with having kids. Don't let the "negative nancys" get you down. Unfortunately there are way too many of them out there.
Just so you know, for every single snide comment, there are hundreds of us who may not be commenting, but appreciate you SO much! I know it is difficult but please try to ignore those that are negative.... when I used to give digital files (for digital scrapbooking) away on my blog there were always those few who had to be negative even though they were getting something for free! You are doing ALL THE WORK and giving IT TO US FOR FREE!!!!
One good example about legit deals not working everywhere is the cereal catalina deal at albertsons... I live in WA and got it several times but others who live in WA didn't get it.
My Walgreens lets me use 2 coupons on the b1g1 deals, one for each... (I did it once but now I just choose not to do it)
For those who get upset about anything she has on her blog that you THINK it wrong or doesn't work just right and you get upset please remember... she doesn't force you to come here!!!!!
I echo the comments already made. Your blog is the best place I've found that lists a wide variety of deals and sales. I check it several times a day and I owe you more than you can imagine. Two months ago husband lost his job and I had absolutely nothing stocked up as far as household items or food. Now we're living on one income and I've got a six months to a year's supply of many household and personal items. I owe all that to your blog and the wonderful sales and deals you post.

Also not sure what happened but wanted to let you know your blog is inspiring. I'm a nurse and I work the night shift (7P-7A). I have two small children as does most of the night shift :) And usually when it gets slow around 3am myself and a few of my fellow nurses will gather around one of our computers to check out what you have added. It's great and eveyone loves to catch a deal. So from the nurses working the graveyard shift we love you and eveything you're doing.

The world really needs positive thinking and actions, we sure don't need any more negativity than we're already inundated with every day.
I turned to couponing late last year after being faced with unemployment and I can't tell you how much help your blog has been for me & my family. In the meantime, as my boyfriend does with his website when he gets nasty e-mails or posts: delete, delete, delete. No response is sometimes the best response (especially when people are irrational or downright rude) - you gotta be proud of your vision and know you're doing the best you can!!!

Collin, I can not even come close to telling you just how much your blog means to my family and my community. I teach coupon classes at local non-profits to disadvantaged single moms and I lead a shopping group that buys first for their families and then for a pantry I keep in my home that serves other families and non-profits. I do this all as an outreach and your blog is what fuels my efforts and makes it possible for me to do that while being busy homeschooling five children and running a business.
