Thank you!

I had a quick question - I was wondering if anyone knew if all those B1G1 vitamins (and other health supp) were still on sale this week? I think I remember seeing at the top of the flyer-page that the deal would run in May?

Anyone know for sure? Thanks!

I was all excited about super cheap Purex this morning. When I went to Rite Aid it all fell apart. I was told one internet coupon per transaction. Then the cashier said I could not use a B1G1 coupon on items that are on sale for B1G1. I offered to buy one a get two for free. She wouldn't let me do that either. I gave up and left all the items on the counter.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Is this really their policy?

I have NEVER had a problem using more than one internet coupon in a transaction. I've never tried using a B1G1 w/ a B1G1 promo, so can't help you there. My RiteAid has always been super coupon-friendly, so maybe it was the cashier?

To THF:

It must be this location. I've had lots of problems with them. The next closest one is 20+ miles away.

The cashier makes little difference, from the manager, asst manager, to regular cashier I've tried them all. No good. All of them give me that - Ugh..it's another couponer trying to steal the store additude.

After my post I read Southern Savers "I'm calling corporate' article. I'll be dropping RiteAid an email to ask for verification on their coupon policy.

I would call corporate regarding the issues you've had. They have now changed their polcy regarding Internet printed coupons and state that they now accept $5 worth of IP coupons per transaction. Ask if they can email you their policy.

Also with using a Bogo coupon on a bogo sale it's probably more of a YMMV(Your mileage may vary) type situation. The register will take them, the cashier may not. I always try to explain to the cashier that the coupon is like CASH to the store and there is really no reason why they shouldn't accept it. You are getting one free from the stores sale and one free from the manufacturer. It's a win win situation.

Thanks, H2S

I emailed RiteAid customer service and explained all the problems I had at this store. I asked them to explain their coupon policy. Hopefully, I will understand a little better and be able to avoid these problems.

It was frustrating given the cashier filled out the B1G1 coupon before she told me I couldn't use it. I seriously doubt another store will allow me to use the coupon now. Ugh!

definately emial corporate, i did this last week they have changed their policy

you will be going back to riteaide and will be able to use your q when your done. dont waste you time with the store, go to corporate.

regarding bogo

yes you can use a bogo coupon with a bogo sale and get both free.

you can also use 2 coupons for dollars or cents off on a bogo sale.

you can also use a bogo coupon and 1 other coupon for that same item and that is ok.

they can adjust a $1.00 coupon so you can buy a $.99 item.
i know that is off topic but a need to know.

I contacted corporate and this was the reply:

"You can only use one manufacturer coupons per sale. However, you can use a manufacturer's coupon with a Rite Aid coupon at anytime as long as the two combine do not exceed the amount of the item you are purchasing. Rite Aid accepts all internet coupons as long as the value of the coupon is below $5.00.

Whenever an item is on sale you can use a coupon on the item as long as the value of the coupon does not exceed the value of the item itself. For instance; if you have a coupon for a $1.00 off and the item is on sale for $0.99, the coupon cannot be used as it exceeds the value of the item being purchased. I hope this explains in further detail the coupon policy for you.

Also, you can use BOGO coupons on BOGO sales; however, you still have to pay for one of the items."

Is it just me or are they telling me I would have to check out three times if I had three coupons? And that I am more than welcome to give them a BIGI coupon and receive no benefit?

Anyway, I asked for a better explanation.

Anyone Have any problems with returning an item? I just tried to return a card. I paid 22.00 out of pocket but because I used a $5.00 off 25.00 coupon, the manager said. "I am not giving you your money back!" I paid the store over 20.00 out of pocket after my coupons and he will not refund a 3.99 card! Well, I left the store and thought I need his name to call corporate so I went back in and THE MANAGER was talking trash to a customer he was ringing up about the situation. Needless, to say I have already contacted corporate by phone but has anyone had any issues??
