Walgreens: got2b Hair Products .50 after Register Reward-Starting April 26th!

Alright, I apologize... BUT I just had to mention one more upcoming Walgreens deal starting on April 26th! Got2b Hair Care products will be on sale 2/$10. Plus, every time you purchase 2 you'll receive a $5 Register Reward. To make this deal even sweeter you can print $2/1 coupons from here. This is a legit coupon from the got2b website, with no limits on printing! Wahoo!

Deal Scenario:
Purchase 2 got2b products=$10
Use 2 $2 coupon
Pay $6
Get back a $5RR
Final cost .50 each!

I would go ahead and print all the coupons you want now. You never know when they may remove this coupon from their site!

**Get ready for sooooo many deals at Walgreens. I can hardly wait! Besides listing all the awesome Walgreens weekly deals, I will try to put together some great scenarios to spend the least out of pocket!

I'm sure this is old news to most;however, I was talking to my friendly WAGS Cosmetic Counter Cashier last night and she said they would be having more RR offers to offset the loss of the EasySaver program. This could be fun! [Although I'll still miss the cash on my gift card]

ok, so pardon my lack of knowledge . . . but what do you mean when you say "roll these deals back and forth"? Sorry - i'm still CSL (couponing as a second language) - i'll be fluent soon!

I love Walgreens but at my store I seem to always have trouble when using RR to get other RR from other deals. Are you allowed to roll them over or not? The people at my store act like you can't. My store if fairly new though about a year old. They confuse me. Please help!

I usually avoid Wags at all costs because of bad experiences I've had there with coupons, but I might have to get in on this next week. I'll be looking for ways to roll this with the Nivea one too.

As always, thanks for the head's up!

C and G,
When I say roll these deals back and forth- I meaning you can do separate transactions and roll the Register Rewards you receive from one deal to pay for a different Register Reward deal and then do it again.

For example:
Do the Nivea Body Wash deal and then use the $4.99RR from that deal to help pay for the got2b deal and then get another $5RR from that deal.

Thanks so much for this update, love the got2b and Nivea.
Quick question-- when I print out several coupons at once each coupon has the same barcode number, will it be OK to use all of these?
Thanks

Hip2Save said...

Anonymous,
For the got2b coupon it's ok they have the same barcode. However, Brick coupons will have a unique barcode in the upper right hand corner to prevent fraud.

Thanks for the heads up on these deals. Question...If I buy 8 Got2b in one transaction will they give me 4 $5RR? Or will I have to split up the transactions? Also when rolling RRs to buy another product that I using a coupon for will I have to buy a filler item? I've had the RR beep before because of too many coupons for items purchased. Hope that makes sense. I'm just nervous to go back, my WAGs cashiers are meanies!

Was just double checking that this is a legit coupon. When I go to print it, my computer will allow me to save the picture. Which means if I save it, it does not matter if they remove because I will have it saved and can print it over and over. Seems questionable. Thanks

Anonymous,
I promise this coupon is legit. It's directly from the got2b site. Here is the direct link to the coupon:

Trisha,
You will have to separate all your transactions to get a $5RR for each 2 purchased. Also you will need an inexpensive filler item if you have more coupons then items and remember that Register Rewards are considered Manufacturer coupons.

The coupon says one per purchase(not transaction) -- do you think WAGS will take more than 1 since I am only using 1 per product? And if so, is that rule of thumb on "one per purchase" coupons?

does kmart sell this stuff??? if so how much??

I went in today and actually went ahead and used 2 Got2B coupons b/c my Walgreens was having a BOGO on them and I couldn't resist and wait. I pd 5.99 for 2 styling gels, used 2 $2 coupons, therefor getting them for .99 (and that's oop - no having to wait). Oh, and for those of you with grouchy cashiers...what I did when I wanted to roll my RRs was I checked out first time at register in front, then went back through store as though I forgot something and checked out at photo center cashier. What are they going to say?!

The Real Mom said...

Whoops, that should say 1.99, not .99. I guess I'm too tired!

Trisha said...

Thanks Hip2Save & mom@peace! These deals are amazing and fun, even when the cashiers are meanies. I can't wait to go on Sunday!!!

Hi! There are so many other WAGs posts, I didn't know where to go, so I'm posting back here because this is where I had initially started. Anyhoo...here's my story. I went on Sunday, had nice cashier that said I could do 2 seperate transactions in which I rolled a $10 Dr. Scholls into a $5 Nivea, $5 Got2B, & $2 Ecotrin. I go back today feeling pretty confident and I get the Rembrant, Quick Release, and 2 $1.79 clearance Wags tampons (thanks for the heads up on the clearance deals btw). My total came to $12.06 (before tax) & I pulled out my 3 RRs totalling $12. Now the cashier says that I won't get the Rembrant or Quick Release RRs because I'm paying with RRs. I told her not to worry because these RRs are not for/from the same products, they should work just fine. She very calmly and pleasantly tries to dissuade me from using my $12RRs. I stood my ground and said, "that's ok I'd like to try it anyhow." She then turns over the RRs and starts reading the print and says something to the effect that, "I know it's on here somewhere." Then she begins to read aloud that this offer can not be used with any other offer. I explained that I am not using a manQ and a RR, so I should be ok. Then she tells me that using a RR and receiving an RR is using two offers, ie. the same thing as using a ManQ and a RR. Really? I politely disagreed and asked her again to try it anyhow, if the RRs don't print, oh well. She reluctantly rang up my RRs, I paid $.76 using my Wags rebate card, and watched the $6 Rembrant and $2.50 Quick Release RRs print right out! Ha! She did not say one word to me after that! I thanked her and left the store. Although she acted like she was trying to help me, I really think she was coached to try and scare me so I would not take advantage of rolling my RRs. Thank goodness I didn't decide to do 2 transactions like I had the other day. Tomorrow I'm going back to buy some more Nivea & Got2b, wish me luck! Thanks for your awesome blog and advice on how to handle sticky situations, it really pays to know what you are doing!
