What a lot of work. Thank you!! Thank you!! I am a regular WalMart shopper and really appreciate your efforts.

When an item is say .97, can you use a 1.00 coupon for it? I would think it would beep because the coupon is for more than the actual cost.

Just earlier this morning I was frantically Googling & searching for a Walmart deals list . . . and now you not only have one, but it's so well organized and beautifully presented. Your blog has become my #1 place to go for info (I'm a little addicted). Thank you for all your work!

Hi,
I bought the Febreeze Noticables starter kit at Walmart yesterday. it was a "bonus kit". It had the warmer and the refill and it was price roll back to $4.84 and with the $4.00 coupon in last weeks paper it came out to only .84 cents. And it smells oh so good!!! :)

Thank you so much for all of the awesome deals you put together! There's also a $1 Kotex IP (good on any product) that can be used to get the pantyliners free!

I saw that Walmart had the A1 Steak sauce for $2.98. With the $2/1 coupon from last Sunday's paper it would be $.98 each. That is really good for the bigger bottle.

At my walmart the wet ones are in the same aisle with the hand soaps.

THANK YOU for such an STELLAR blog! I was just introduced to your page and I know that I will visit this page before I make any future purchases!

As a newbie, what are the meanings of "SS" and "RP" in the following lines:

*Use the $1 coupon from the 4/26SS
*Use the $1 coupon from the 4/26RP

You are doing a wonderful job and I look forward to sharing my finding with the group going forward as well.
~Make it a great one!

Hi guys,
Thank you so much for all the positive feedback!:)

The great thing that I've noticed about Walmart is that when the value of the item is less then the value of the coupon- the register does not beep! Yay! So for all the travle size products that are .97 the $1 coupons will NOT beep!:)

Anonymous said...

I don't receive a SS flyer or RP in my area- i know i can go on your site and see some things but is there a way to go back further for older coupons?

Thank you SO MUCH for your wonderful blog!

now what should you do if the Walmart tells you they dont take IP's and then you whip out their policy and they still dont take the coupon?

Shanika,
Now that I'm looking at the coupon you're correct. I will go ahead and delete that deal.

Laura,
I have Walmarts corporate # in my cell phone. If I have an issue with them not accepting my IP coupons, then I'll call corporate while standing at the register. This has happened to me in the past and was taken care of quickly and with an apology after I called corporate.

I always stand my ground and will NOT back down!:)

Hip to Save,
This is off the Wal mart subject but do you know if $3.49 is a good price for Velveeta (32 oz.)? It's on sale for $4.49 at Meijer and I'd use the $1 Kraft coupon. I don't want to use up the coupon if I can get it for a better deal.
Thanks for your help!

Tara said...

Thank you so much for the hard work you put into this! I went shopping at Walmart earlier today and got great deals thanks to your tips.

Someone had asked about using a $1 coupon on an item that costs $.97 (less than a dollar). It did beep but then the cashier just manually entered the $1. The suggestion to print and bring Walmarts coupon policy with you is a wonderful idea just in case someone questions the printables. I haven't had that problem yet, but have a family member who did.

To All the Anonymous ladies, I used to use Anon. until I figured out how to leave my name...I notice some of you add your name to the bottom of the comment. Please allow me to help with that. After you type your comment, click the circle that has "Name/URL", then a space will appear to enter your name...you don't have to enter anything else, just your name, hit "publish your comment", then your post will say "your name said". I hope that helps. My personal opinion is it's nice to know who left the comment. After a while, the Anonymous posters get all jumbled and we don't know who is who.

It also seems that my Walmart in N.J. has higher prices that some of your Walmart stores. I hope you all can get some good bargains.

I see that you give an option for IE or Firefox and I was just wondering how you do that or if you could help me out? I have a link to a $1.50/1 4 count Yoplait Yo-plus yogurt, but I just can't print it out on my mac. It won't work in Firefox and I can't get an updated version of IE for my mac. I am hoping you could help me out, so that I could print out this coupon on my computer. The link I have is: http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qbbrahj49831708&bt=wi&o=55277&ci=1&c=GM&p=vZpuCdX5 I don't know if you have a general way that I could change these to print out in Firefox since I have come across this problem more than once. I also wanted some a Green Giant coupon: http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qekofot7951146&bt=wi&o=54287&ci=1&c=GM&p=8dH6Da9X I think you are do awesome stuff on this blog. Fran- where in NJ are you? I am in NJ and I think that the prices are higher as well.

I used to live in Buffalo NY and we had two walmarts- they were both within 10 miles of each other and they had much different prices....

I was just wondering alot of the coupons say no trial size. Is travel size the same as trail size?

Hip2Save said...

Tania,
Yes, if the coupon says no trial size, then that excludes travel sized items too.

Hip2Save said...

Jen,
Check out this great post done by the freebie blogger... it should answer your questions!

Hip2Save said...

Jackie,
I live in North Carolina on the coast. I wouldn't say my Walmart deals are on the low side compared to some other locations.

I have noticed, though, that when I've seen other Walmart deal lists sometimes they are super low... like 50% off the price I would find in my Walmart. For example Freshetta pizza for ONLY $2?!?

Does anyone know of a Walmart location that actually sells that pizza for only $2? At mine the lowest price is $5.

Ambra said...

THANKS HIP2SAVE! Thanks to this posting, I walked out of Walmart with $38 worth of items/groceries for just $10!

Thanks for the link to the Freebie blogger. I just printed my coupons from my mac in Safari. You're very helpful and I love you blog.

fran said...

Hi MJ, I live in Mt.Laurel, N.J. How about you? I've gotten coupons ready before with a Walmart list and when I got there, I did get some things, but the prices were way higher, like Carnation Hot Cocoa, it always says $1.00...not at mine in Marlton.

Crystal said...

Oh My Goodness!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.. for dividing these Walmart Deals by category. This is the most helpful way to display them! It is so much less overwhelming than other blog deal lists! You Rock!

The target in cherry hill is by far the best around!

Tara, Small world. Where exactly do you live in Pa? I was born in South Philly, raised in Pennsauken, lived in Lindenwold for a long while, and my husband works in Delran. I know you are familiar with these towns. The Target in Mt. Laurel, in the Wegmans shopping center is the one where I have all the problems. A few weeks ago, I did go to the one in Voorhees, near Office Depot. Are you familiar with that one? They were really nice in that store, but it's not real close to me. There's also one on Rte. 73 in Marlton, but I do most of my shopping around Wegmans area. The Cherry Hill one you are referring to, is that the one across from the Cherry Hill Mall? If it is, and we go to Loew's this week, I'll have to go there...hubby's on vacation this week...although he already told me, he doesn't want to spend his vacation in supermarkets or drug stores. Nice to get to know you, Tara. Now, when we find out where MJ lives, maybe we all could meet at Walmart.

Most of the ladies on this site are very friendly and helpful...ESPECIALLY OUR LEADER, COLLIN:)

Collin - Here in Indiana the lowest price for pizza we have are the Totinos pizza's for $.98. Those are a sad excuse for pizzas tho. : ) Should be called "grease with baby sized pieces of product that we enhanced to taste like meat." : ) I still buy them tho. When hubby works late and theres not enough dinner left over for him to get full off of, he'll throw one of those in the oven. It's about the only thing he knows how to make anymore since getting married. : ) Yeah...he definately came out the winner in this deal.

I wouldn't delete the Colgate deal - I noticed the coupons from the SS did not reference (trial size excluded), but the SS I get out of a spanish newspaper, the same coupon did say "trial size excluded", so maybe just put a reference under the deal - check your coupon 1st to see if it says that. I went yesterday and got 5 free trial toothpaste with that coupon. I had more from the spanish newspaper that had, trial size excluded, I kept them at home and saved them for a future trip where I would use on larger toothpaste.

There was $1/1 coupons for El Monterey Torpedos in the 5/17 SS so that would make them $1 and then free if it has the Free peelie

Herdez Salsa Casera is the best, but I've noticed that the stuff at Walmart is watered down--or maybe 'tomatoed down' is the better term. It's much cheaper than elsewhere, but there's a reason. Check it out.

I am wondering what the "SS" means. Many apologies as I am fairly new to this. :) Thanks for the help!
