my walgreens will not allow coupon overage, are they wrong?

Yes, they are totally wrong, they are to price adjust. Whoever programs their registers are not very smart to think about overage or the cashiers are just too lazy to price adjust. When I shop at Pathmark the register will only double up to the price of the item. Now don't get me wrong, I am by no means complaining that stores give overage.

Yes, they are wrong...I had the same problem in 2 different stores in my area...I called corporate and the both stores called me stating that I could come back in and use my coupons...Now I have no problem at all!! Call Corporate!!

I also added in a $10 off $20 skin care CRT store coupon that I got this morning to this deal (got 15 trial size scrubs). You can then get a $10 item for free!!! I got a $10 CVS loadable gift card to pay the tax on all my deals!!!

Oh My God,
Amy99s, you are brilliant!!! You know, I now know that I AM BRAINDEAD...sometimes I can be so intelligent and other times, not so much. You've given me a great idea to use ECBs when I don't feel like hunting for something to use them on...I can just get a cash card. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to do this, do you? I bet we can even do this with RRs when there are weeks with not too many deals....say you have 6 RRs that equal the price of a gift card...get the gift card with 5 cheap fillers, that way you can use the gift card on ANYTHING, and not have to worry if your other RRs will print. I'm loving this idea. There are some weeks I really don't feel like shopping...this is a perfect solution. Thanks for your suggestion.

It's funny. The other day, we were at Blockbusters. I had a $10.00 G.C. I asked the manager if she could add it to my account, so if I didn't use it, I wouldn't lose it. She said she could give me a new gift card in place of the old one. She took a new gift card and I paid for it with my old gift card. I told her that was pretty intelligent to think of that...I certainly didn't (again, braindead!). So this is something for all us to think about.

ShopRite patrons, I saw the St. Ives trials there as well, I think $1.19...I didn't have those coupons with me, so I didn't purchase any.
