I tried to use one of those Huggies internet coupons last week at Rite Aid and they would not accept it. Has anyone had problems using internet coupons at Rite Aid?

I would love to try the Johnson's deal!

The Rite Aid's near me in Massachusetts will not take any internet coupon unless it is a Rite Aid one.

That's it I need to move near a Rite Aid and Kmart!!

I'm in N.J. and I have no problem using internet coupons at Rite Aid. A couple of weeks ago I used a $7.00 coupon on the Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Kit. I know now that they only take them up to $5.00...and I don't think that rule is because of me:)...for those of you that might be thinking that.
You know, another thing...if you buy something without a coupon, and then you come across a coupon within a month, you can take the coupon with your receipt back to the store, and they will give you the money for your coupon.

"Cents"able Momma (http://www.centsablemomma.com/)has this scenario for Zyrtec:

Buy 2 Zyrtec @ $26.99 each ($53.98)
Use $4.00 Zyrtec QP (only use 1 QP to keep total above the $50 threshold)
Get $2.00 Zyrtec SCR
Get $10.00 J&J rebate
Get $25 Rite Aid GC from allergy rebate
Get $10 Rite Aid GC from Zyrtec Rewards
Get $10 manufacturer rebate
Total after Coupons and SCR: $7.02 overage

Hip2save, is this valid??

Anonymous, When I read that senario, I thought it was pretty good, but then I looked at the May Rebate Directory. On page 7... that Zyrtec offer is for online participation only. I can't see Rite Aid giving 3 rebates on the same item, maybe 2...but I don't know about 3. I know you can use 2 mfr. coupons...they don't affect the $50.00 purchase to get the $25.00 gift card. Hip2Save might have more information on this...if not, you can always call 1-888-213-9920 (the contact # for rebates). If there is a way to make this work for you, Hip2Save is your girl.

I'm not a rite aid shopper but i went there once and had an issue with my coupons. I shouldnt sure of the thier policy so i agreed with the cashier. Is there a limit to the Internet Coupons??? The cashier told me only one Internet Coupon per order per day. Is this true???

Hip2Save said...

Hi guys,
What I've heard is that you can use up to $5 worth of Internet coupons per day. Although, you may be able to use more depending upon your cashier. If you are having trouble, then I suggest you call or email corporate regarding this. Make sure to ask them to email you their coupon policy. That way if you have any issue you can show them the policy.

angela- the people at my rite aid are so nice. i went yesterday and tehy let me use the $5 off one and then all my manufacter coupons. most of my ooupons were internet printable coupons

nicole said...

oh and btw i used $22 dollars in internet printable coupons. + the $5.00 0f 0ne.

Hip2Save said...

Fran, What rebate is for Online participation only? I'm looking online and don't see it. Thanks!

nicole said...

hey guys i have a question for you all.

if my rite aid has got2b products on sale for buyonegetonefree and tehey are priced at $6.49 can i use one or two coupons($2.00 off)

thanks!

Hip2Save said...

Anon,
The scenario looks good to me as long as all of the rebates can be submitted from in-store purchases and not online purchases.

Also, you will need to stay above $50 if you want to get one of the $10 Rite Aid gift cards back. It states the $50 need to be met before coupons and all other discounts

Here is a deal scenario: to sweeten this further:

Do 3 transactions:

#1
Buy 1 Zyrtec @ $26.99
Use the $5 off $25 coupon
Plus, use the $4 coupon
Pay $17.99

#2
DO the exact same thing as above again.

#3
Do the exact same thing as above again.

Final out of pocket cost=$53.97

Then you'll get all of this back:
Get $2.00 Zyrtec SCR
Get $10.00 J&J rebate
Get $25 Rite Aid GC from allergy rebate
Get $10 Rite Aid GC from Zyrtec Rewards
Get $10 manufacturer rebate

Final cost 3 Zyrtec for FREE + a $3 moneymaker!

Nicole,
Yes, you should be able to use 2 $2 coupons.

ellen said...

My Walgreens doesn't like internet coupons but my Rite Aid does...the cashier even wanted to know where I found them all!

Anonymous said...

Just went to RiteAid & they are saying you can only purchase 1 J&J product per person. I tried to debate this, but the cashier wouldn't budge. She also says it doesn't qualify for the rebate??? Anybody else have this issue?

for people in wisconsin and minesota. free suntan lotion,

Hip2Save said...

Anon.,
I would call corporate. They should not be limiting customers to one J&J product. That's so ridiculous! Also, the rebate clearly states Johnson’s Baby products are included.

I think you must have gotten a cashier that has no clue what she's talking about. Wish I could have been their with you to educate her!:)

Anonymous said...

Thanks, I will contact corporate, because that cashier was just rude about it. I came home & checked the sales & rebate papers, nothing pertaining to limits. Thanks for the input, I'll let you know what I find out.
Stephanie (I don't seem to know how else to sign beside anonymous)

fran said...

Hi Collin, On page 7 of the May rebate directory, it states you wouldn't qualify if you do the rebate through the mail, just online participation...you also must register at www.riteaid.com/zyrtecrewards in order to qualify for program benefits.

What is the Johnson & Johnson rebate?

Stephanie, instead of checking Anonymous, just check the Name/URL option...a spot will appear to type in your name...the URL spot is optional, so just fill in your name and hit Publish. I like when people use their name instead of Anon...that way we all kind of get to know each other...with anon., they all run together, no one knows whose who.

fran said...

Collin, Me again. I forgot about the "rebate based on actual price paid (after any and all coupons are used)". I don't think I've ever noticed that before...has it always been like that with these G.C. offers? I've done 1 or 2 in the past, and I'm sure I used coupons. If you have a lot of items on your receipt, there is no way they can tell whether or not you used a coupon on that particular item. What do you think?

Anonymous said...

Is this just a regional deal b/c I Just went to my Rite Aid and they didn't have any advertisements or any markdowns?

Anonymous said...

I have double checked my ads and in store and in Nashville, TN we don't have the Johnson and Johnson deal. Has anyone else had this problem?
Tiffany

Anonymous said...

I have a question. I was trying to do the Johnson and Johnson deal and they would only let me print 2 coupons and it says to use 13. Is there a way to make it allow me to print more that I don't know about?

Ellen said...

Tiffany, I live in Alabama and I haven't found this offer yet....but i did print all the coupons!! And if you go to her last "click here" it takes you to a j&j website where most of the coupons came from!

ellen said...

I didn't realize it was the mailin rebates! go to the rite aid website and check out their p&g rebate

Melissa said...

Do you have to purchase all of the Johnson's in one transaction or can you buy a few at time during the week?

Heather said...

I went to Rite Aid today and got 11 Johnson's products and one Tylenol Allergy because it is part of the $10 SCR #50, and my store didn't have two more $1.99 items. I used a $5 off $25, and I used 11 in ad coupons and 10 manufacturer coupons I ended up paying $5+ for all of it with my HSA card! So I will still get back $10! Awesome! Thank you Collin!

Hip2Save said...

Fran,
I'm guessing it will work too! I just don't want to guarantee that it will and then have it not because of the coupons. I do understand what your saying and have never had problems getting rebates after coupons are used either.

Hip2Save said...

Anon.,
The only way you'll be able to print even more J&J coupons is by having access to more then one computer. I've asked neighbors and friends in the past, so even if you only have one computer you could possibly ask someone you know to print a few!:)

Hip2Save said...

Melissa,
No, you do not need to purchase all of them in one transaction. You can do as many transactions as you like.

Just remember to submit all your receipt numbers online.

RITE AID SUCKS IN LONGVIEW/KELSO, WA! No Internet coupons accepted and I was accused of fraudulently bringing in copies anyhow! LOL... Great customer service right there... what a hassle.

Sharyn said...

Hey! Just wanted to mention that those of us that are in the East Region for Rite Aid don't have the J&J deal this week. Seems like we get left out of some of the really good deals - what's up with that???
Thought you might want to mention to your reader before they got too excited!!! Boo hoo!

maureen said...

Hi all
I just tried to do the J&J offer at my rite aid- I bought all the 1.99 items they had- I plan to hit up another irte aid tomorrow- my question is- the rebate is for $25 spent- but my receipt only shows $8.00 after coupons....the original total before coupons is not listed- how can I get the rebate???

Thanks

Mara said...

It's so frustrating to find out about an awesome deal like the J&J and find out that it's not available at my stores. I wonder why Rite-Aid varies so much by region?
le sigh.

At my store in WA they were marking down a bunch of J & J products for clearance...and I bought 19 products for a total of $30ish, and used the $5/$25 and a bunch of $1/1 coupons and paid $7 and will get the $10 rebate..yay!

Anonymous said...

My rite-aid said I couldn't use the in ad and Internet coupon. So I ended up paying 99€ for each one.

Sara said...

Wow, so much variance! I did 4 different RA and doubled up a MQ with an in store Q and no problem, got 13 J&J products free and submitted all the receipts online for the $10 rebate. Oh and to the anon above, Im also in MA and had no problem, I really think it depends on the cashier and time of day?!

Danielle said...

Well I am in the East, New York and we have this promotion. Of course I waited to long, and I was only able to snag 4 gift packs, from 2 different stores. Both cashiers did say they are getting more on Friday, so I am excited about that!! Except I think I am down to 4 coupons left :(

Plus I didn't know about the rebate and I threw my receipts out, I HAVE TO KEEP THEM. I have missed out on sooo many rebates!

How do you organize and keep all your receipts??

Hip2Save said...

Danielle,
I have a rebate binder and I put the rebates in order of expiration. I also have envelopes I put my receipts in. Each store I shop at has a separate envelope. I'm hoping to do a post about coupon organization in the next few weeks.

Anonymous said...

Hi! Where do we get the manufactures rebate for the $10.00 on zyrtec? I cant seem to find it. Thanks, Beth

Also I email rite aid corporate about their internet coupon acceptance policy. If youd like a copy of the email let me know id be happy to forward it on. Happy Qponing!
