Sounds like a more expensive version of a library. I think I would rather go down the street and get the book I want and support the local community.
BTW, if your library doesn't have a book you want, they can usually order it!
I love the library and so do my kids I buy one used book ever few weeks to helpsupport the library and have our library grow at home my three year old loves walking home with a "new book" of his own
I agree, library. Mine lets me put books on reserve online. Then I get an email when they are ready to pick up. And it's FREE.
I agree with you guys, but I have been using Book Swim for a little bit and like it because of the conveniance.
I tried Book Swim, but it wasn't for me. I would rather use a book swapping site or go to the library.
ohh the library is a much much much much cheaper and smarter option. $100+ a year for books sounds foolish
I did some checking around about BookSwim. Found that their shipping sucked.
If the book is damaged or lost, you have to pay for it.
And the packaging that the book comes in is very flimsy (same for the packaging that you send the book back in).
Often people wait about 2 weeks for the book to come, that's half of a month!
I am a major bookworm and often the libraries doesn't have the book I want to read or would be on few months wait list. I rely on coupons for the bookstores and sharing books with my friends. I also check Half.com
I was hoping that BookSwim would be great but seems like they have alot to fix before it gets my money.
