Ok. Here's what I've been thinking. Tell me if you think this should work.

If I buy 8 of the Fabreze Noticeable Starter kits, that totals $52. I pair that with a 10/50 coupon, and then 8 $4.00/1 Noticeables coupons. I pay $10 oop and get $25 in ECB's. Any reason why this wouldn't work?

Thanks for all your great tips!

Alisa said...

Anon--if that works, let us know!! I don't know why it wouldn't, except that some of those 10/50 coupons say after all coupons. However, I have heard of people handing this over first, THEN, giving all the other coupons. I am curious, though! Sounds like a great deal!

The Head & Shoulders is $2.00 ecb when you buy 2. Not 2 ecb each...

Anon- Look at your ad again it is $2ecb each. Don't miss out on a great deal!

I made a CVS run this morning and the .89 CVS pantiliners produced a .99 EB. Small moneymaker, but every bit helps!!! =)

I made my CVS run this morning. Great day for savings today. I did 3 transactions. 1st: bought 3 tapes, 2 packs of pencils and 1 sharperner, used $7ECB and $.54OOP, got back $4.47 & $2.97ECB. Then I did the febreeze deal: (4)noticeable kits, (3)fabric freshners, (3)air effects, used $10/50, (4)$4/noticeables, (3)BOGO on air effects, and $4.47 & $2.97 ECB, OOP $11, got back $25ECB. I splurged and used the $25ECB to buy 2 beach chairs and (2) head & shoulders shampoo, OOP $1.35 plus I still got back $4ECB

There are .50q off any Dawn in the Home Made Simple Booklet. I have two of these, so I'm getting 2 free bottles of Dawn!

If you don't need the pencils for you kids, PLEASE donate them to a middle or high school teacher.

I teach 7th grade and a LOT of kids either come to school without pencils or lose them during class change.

Everyone loves to give supplies to elementary kids because they're so cute. From my experience, the upper grades teachers could use them more.

I have a $2q off any 2 head and shoulders shampoo or conditioner, when combined with the BOGO q, it is a $1 moneymaker. (the coupon is from a 2009 PG ad, but I don't know which month, expires 7/31)

Anonymous said...

The $2 off 2 Head & Shoulders Q is from the 6/7PG.

Anu said...

Can you use two combined coupons for head and shoulders?
The BOGO as well as the 2$ off one?

Anonymous said...

Can't Print the Trail Mix cereal coupon. Said the limit was reached or something. :(

Anonymous said...

In the CVS add, when it say limit 1. Is that limit one per day, or per sales week?

Tried the St Ives face scrub 1.50 Q on the trial size and they would not take it. They told me that the value of the Q can not exceed the cost of the product. which was 1.49. Is this how CVS normally works or did i get the "bad" cashier? I was in Tallahassee FL.

Anu - You can combine a bogo and $/off, even on the free one at my CVS.

I have had a cashier tell me that she can not adjust the value of a coupon down, nor can she adjust the value of a ECB. I've actually had another cashier do both for me, so I know it's possible, but did not have a policy to point to. Does anyone know the CVS policy?

Rach said...

Anon 1 and 2:

That is not right. Maybe I just have "Minnesota nice" cashiers, but they always adjust my coupons down. Pretty sure that is their policy. It was probably some cashier who didn't know the policy and din't want to look dumb. I'd ask for a manager, and they will adjust the coupon down. I've had problems with this at Target too. They are supposed to adjust the coupon down. :) If all else fails, bring their store policy in, or call corporate :)

First thing I did was scan my cvs card on their price checking machine (usually close to the front door) it will dispense additional coupons and today it gave me $4 ECB (Yay!) Here was my coupon triumph...

1ECB -used 2 .25 Q
(2) olay body wash 2/$12
5ECB -used 2 $2 Q

5ECB -used 2 $2Q (got one cereal but had no coupon for that one :(
(2) febreeze noticeables $6.50 each

(1) fbrz air effects $3
10ECB- used 2 $4 for noticeables; bogo on air effects for buying fabric spray
(2) head & shoulders $4.99 each
(1) pantene $4.99
6ECB - used bogo on H&S; $1 Q for Pantene
(1) 2pk listerine (1000ml together) $3.99

My Head and shoulders coupon BOGO rang up taking off 5.99, and I paid 4.99 each for the shampoos! Nice little deal with the ECB

ugh - just did my CVS run for the week and they said they are "cracking down" on their coupons - I was not able to use more than one coupon from online (I wanted to use 3 trail mix crunch coupons for 3 boxes of cereal)!!! They've never said that before - they also said they are no longer taking coupons that are a higher value than the product - like the St Ives wash for 1.49 with a 1.50 coupon. AND they said I can only use on CVS card per household - no person! My husband and I both have one and they will not let us both use them anymore!!! What's happening! I am going to a different CVS tonight!
