Home Depot: FREE Kids Workshops + More!

On Saturday, August 1st, Home depot will have a new FREE workshop available for kids! Starting at 9 am and running until noon, they'll learn how to build a message center! How cool! I love the fact that it's also something I can actually hang up and use!

On a side note, remember my "planning" challenge? Well, this little activity goes great with having a calendar specifically listing all the FREE kids activities available! On one of these upcoming Mondays I'll talk more about this in detail! Stay tuned for "Planning Monday" starting next week!

Oh and don't forget that if you're planning a move soon or even in the future, then I would highly recommend signing up for the Home Depot New Movers newsletter! You'll get a 10% off coupon just for signing up, with a maximum discount of $200! Plus, they'll email out new promotions, tips, coupons and more! When filling out the form make sure to check the box to join the Home Depot Garden club too! You'll receive an email newsletter with tips about gardening and more! Plus, you'll receive high value Home Depot coupons for different gardening and outdoor products!

It doesn't appear you have to register for this one, like you do at Lowes. Is this just first come, first serve?
I agree, this is a great looking project. My daughter loves to go on a "date w/ daddy" to do the Lowes build and grow activies, but they are usually so quick and simple, and not something useful! But, its free and fun so we love it anyways!

Does the coupon come to your email? No coupon popped up, just a banner. Is that the coupon?

My 5 year old has been attending this workshop since it began over a year ago. He has his own apron and gets a pin for each project he completes. It's free, and it runs at our store from 9am-noon. He loves it and the projects really are cool.
