I didn't get the Nexxus Q on my SS insert either. Leaving now for the great Staples deal.

I did the huggies deal this morning, and my receipt states that I can do it one more time (buy 4 packages/2 offers)...and my receipt also printed a $5 off $25 - whoo hoo! :)

Just came back from Staples. I knew that I had to go early. Wow, those notebooks for $0.01 were flying off the shelves. The manager had to make announcements, on the mic, to remind people about the limit of 6 notebooks per person. I saw a guy trying to buy 30 notebooks by himself. LOL My girlfriend and I got 12 notebooks + 2 Casio label makers + 2-pack markers + 4 reams of multipurpose paper. They're out of the pencil sharpener, but we had picked up 2 already from last deal.

I'm still trying to figure out the ECB's for CVS. So when you buy something, lets say shampoo and it gives you ECB's back can you use the bucks on anything or does it have to be on shampoo? I hope that question makes sense.

My CVS had some Colgate Total Toothpaste on Clearance for $1, along with a Colgate Wave Toothbrush for $0.75. I bought the clearance items over the sale to maximize my coupons! Double check the Toothpaste isle.

Please be warned about Naked Naturals Shampoo Try Me Free Rebate. I sent off for the Naked Natural Shampoo TMF ($6.99) rebate, and I received a letter from Continental Consumer Products, a Division of Continental Fragrances, Inc, with a partial rebate in the amount of $5.40. The letter stated that I "was not eligible for the full rebate amount of the normal purchase price due to the application of other in store offers that reduced the dollar amount paid. Rebate terms and conditions clearly state that the rebate cannot be used in conjuctions with other offers." I called the company at 248-758-1817 and spoke to Stacy. She said that since I used CVS Extra Care Bucks to reduce my total that I was not eligible for the full purchase price. This is ridiculous!! I told her that I used the ECBs just like money for payment of my items. The ECBs are rewards for other products that I had previously purchased. I DID NOT use a coupon for Naked Naturals Shampoo. She would not budge. I told her that the whole reason for the TRY ME FREE rebate was to get customers to try their product, and if this was the way that they would treat their potential customers, I would not be buying their product in the future.

I then called CVS customer service at 888-607-4287. I explained the whole situtation to the customer service rep. I told her that I did not have a complaint with CVS, but with Continental Consumer Products, and that I would hope that CVS would not sell products from a company that treated their customers this way. She wrote up a report, and said that they would be checking into it and possibly contacting this company.

Thankfully, I am only out $1.59. It is just the principle of the whole TRY ME FREE idea that burns me up. Maybe I will just return the shampoo to CVS.
