FREE Entertainment: Toys R Us, Museum Day + More!


There's some great FREE entertainment available this weekend! Here's a quick round up of all the fun freebies:


  • Kids and Families are Invited to Commemorate Another Year of Fun at Toys“R”Us with a Birthday Party Fit for Everyone’s Favorite Iconic Giraffe! Geoffrey the Giraffe, is celebrating his birthday and all of his friends are invited! On Saturday September 26, from 12 noon to 3pm, kids and families who visit their local Toys“R”Us store can participate in fun coloring activities and take advantage of exciting giveaways and special discounts. Additionally, Geoffrey’s Birthday Party attendees, ages three and up will, receive their own birthday crowns and have the chance to join in a Birthday Crown Parade around the store, held every half hour. The store will also host demonstrations of cool products from Fisher-Price and Hasbro, sure to keep little ones entertained!

  • Lowe's is offering up another FREE Kid's Workshop this Saturday at 10 a.m.! This looks like a really fun workshop--all the kid's will get to make their very own fire truck! Plus, the first 50 children to register will receive a FREE kit, apron, and goggles!

  • This Saturday, September 26th, is FREE Museum Day! You can check what museums are participating here. After you find a museum, make sure you go here and fill out the form to print your Museum Day Admission Card. You must have this with you to get FREE admission! (Thanks, $30WeeklyGroceryChallenge!)

Lakeshore Learning Store has a free craft time for children every Saturday from 11-3 p.m. You can check out the craft and locations at the link below.

The TRU bday party had a handful of good freebies for the kids: a precious princess and a hot wheels DVD, playdough, coupons for free things, stickers and coloring books. We had a great time. Thanks.
