Can you use the $12 dollar coupon plus the $5 off of $50 Kmart coupon in the same transaction? Can you use the $12 dollar coupon on another diaper (Huggies) transaction?

I am going to try this tomorrow, Thanks! I am worried about K-mart's policy of not being able to double more than 4 of the same item though.

does the $12 off coupon specified which department it can be use?..like if for groceries only..

How do you find out what to buy to get the extra catalina coupons to print? Is this on the Kmart website somewhere in writing, I am just curious because I spent $150.00 and I am sure I was suppose to get a catalina of some sorts?

I think you are talking about the pull ups.. sorry

No I bought ponds, suave, glade, ragu and ziploc items that totalled up to $50 all alone?

I've done this type of deal several times this week!! It's fabulous! The $5 off $50 never seems to work for me for whatever reason.

Earn a catalina with particpating brands: (Shout, Fantastik, All, Windex, OFF!, Oust, Pledge, Raid, Glade, Degree, Vanish, Drano, Caress, Scrubbing Bubbles, Wisk, Sunggle, Lever 2000, Poise, Dove, Depend, Kotex, Edge, Lipton, Ziploc, Ragu, Vaseline, Skintimate, SlimFast, Viva, Cottonelle, Ponds, Scott, Suave, Sunsilk, Kleenex, Nature's Source, Wish Bone, QTips, Hellmans Saran, Little Swimmers, Huggies, Goodnights and Pullups)
Spend $25 get a $5 reward
Spend $50 get a $12 reward

if you check your local Kmart ad online, it's the whiteish one in the lower right corner that says 'Storewide Savings Guide' Tues Sept 15-Mon Oct 12th.

The 12 dollar coupon is just 12 dollars off your next order of 12 dollars or more (basically 12 free dollars)
but it CANNOT be combinded with the 5$/50 because both are K-mart coupons and you cannot 2 k-mart coupons.
Mommy of 4 if you are worried about not doubling 4 of one, try buying different sizes or types of the dipers? maybe that works. I did it yesterday and had no problems.

Wipes works for this deal too! At my K-mart the wipes were 3.99 so after a doubled q free. It also worked on Huggies brand lotion, soap ect. Make sure you spend the 50 dollars before qs though HTH

I didn't get the diapers for $2.49 but $4.50 isn't bad! I got a $5 catalina to use on next purchase.

Yep, Anon above me is right. You don't have to spend just diapers to get the deal. You can mix and match any of the participating brands products. And my store is sticklers about the 4 of the same coupon, even if it's for different kinds of the same product.
One transaction I did this week:
4 Huggies Diapers (*counted toward reward coupon)
3 Glade Scented Oil Refills (*counted toward reward coupon)
1 Glade Scented Oil Warmer (*counted toward reward coupon)
2 Ponds 15-count Towelettes (*counted toward reward coupon)
2 Friskies cat food cans

Retail Total: $59.01 (tried to use $5 /$50 but it didn't work)
OOP: 25.64.

Another one I did this week:
2 Huggies (*counted toward reward coupon)
2 Huggies Overnights (*counted toward reward coupon)
2 Glade Scented Oil Refill (*counted toward reward coupon)
1 Glade Warmer (*counted toward reward coupon)
1 Degree Deodorant (*counted toward reward coupon)
2 Ajax
1 Rimmel
Retail Total: $59.12 (again $5 was a no-go)
OOP: $25.85

Here are my baby deals:

Buy one filler item (I use the .39 lollipops)
Use 12 1/1 huggies wipes mqs (peelies)
Use one $12 kmart coupon.

Total: .39 plus tax for 12 tubs of wipes.

My diaper scenarios:

Buy one package of huggies diapers at 9.99.
Buy one filler item
Use a 2/1 huggies q
Use a $5 kmart cat

Total: $1.39 plus tax for a package of diapers.

You can also use baby food as a filler item.

I bought 9 big bags of wipes tonight and 9 pkgs cost $54. Then i used the 5/50 and 9 2/1 coupons bringing the total down 54-5=49, 49-36=13, then I used the 2 dollar discover card coupon bringing my total to $9 then got back the 12 catalina, so in the end I turned this into a 3 dollar money maker!

I have gotten over 220 worth of stuff this week for freeeeee!

Anonymous said...

Would someone please confirm whether the $12 catalina prints when the AFTER-COUPONS total is under $50? I was thinking that AFTER coupons my total would have to be $50 in participating products. I would be bummed if I got only a $5 catalina instead. I did this last week by spending $50, but if this week i could spend only $25...I would be way excited! Thanks!

Can I ask where you all print 9 copies of the huggies coupons?? I can only print 2 at a time! Do you have multiple printers in your house?

Unknown said...

YMMV on this one, at our Kmart the huggies were $11.49. Also you won't be able to use the $12 and the $5 off $50 in the same transaction.

You will receive the $12 on your next purchase if your total is $50 or more before coupons.

Anonymous said...

Just got back from my KMart in Mesa, AZ. Huggies were $11.49, not $9.99, but with the coupons and $12 back, it's still a pretty good deal.

Chris said...

I did a similar deal yesterday and received the $12 coupon. If I want to do this deal again (when I have a total of $50 in products), if I use the $12 coupon, will I get another $12 coupon?

Unknown said...

to Anon asking about how to print 9 huggies coupons. You can print 2 per COMPUTER. And there was a Huggies pdf with a $2 coupon so you can print as many copies as you wish.

Chris, and anyone else who was wondering. YES if you use the $12 coupon will get another $12 coupon as long as your total was $50 before your coupons.

So if you can't use the $12 cat. and the $5 off $50 in the same transaction, I am better off using the $5 off $50 coupon, right, and saving the $12 cat. for another transaction? The $5 off $50 further reduces my cost per item, whereas the $12 cat. just reduces my oop, but was already factored in my cost per item in the previous transaction in which it was earned. In the second transaction I would still subtract out the $12 from my total cost, but it would be the $12 earned on THAT transaction. Then I'll have 2 $12 cat's that will need to be used in separate transactions prior to 10/26- but that shouldn't be a problem. The only criteria I saw on the one I got last night was that it had to be $12 or more purchase. (and I'm sure they can't be combined) Let me know if my thinking is correct...

Anonymous said...

To the post above, YES! Your thinking is exactly right. It IS better to use the $5 discount than the $12 that already belongs to you. The only other stipulation of the catalina is that it cannot be used on a buy-one-get-one sale of any type, and it cannot be used with an item you are already using a coupon on (like 2 packs of diapers with two coupons + catalina). However, I don't know if the latter rule depends on the computer or the clerk, because I had used a coupon and a catalina before I knew this rule, and it went through. << Kmart can be really finicky, though...last week the Kmart computer wouldn't allow my hubby to use a catalina on 1(one!) pair of regular-priced shoes because there was a BOGO sale going on. Crazy. He was only buying the one pair. He left without the shoes :p

Where do you get the pdf huggies coupon?

This only works if you purchase $50 of the brands they have listed in their flier. You cannot use a filler item to bump your total up to $50.
I went this morning and tried to use a filler item and I did not get my $12 coupon.
It wound up being a big mess but I did walk out of there returning my diapers and taking my coupons back home with me.
I am upset because I had a pack of Huggies wipes in my third order that I could have easily put in the first order to make it $50 in accepted items.

Has anyone actually tried to use both the $12.00 off coupon & the $5off of $50.00 in the same transaction?

Anonymous said...

but if you earned that $12 with a 0.00+tax oop, then you don't have anything to add to the next tranny.

Anonymous said...

I did this today and it worked! I got $4.00 off on five packs of huggies and even used a $1.00 of wipes I had laying around to get wipes for .99 cents. They took the five dollars off fifty and I still got the $12.00 off next purchase. Thanks! This was an amazing deal.

Anonymous said...

FYI: While you are there, they have Pepsi brand 12 packs for $2.49!

Anonymous said...

Wow- it DOES sound like KMart is finicky! They rank up there with Walgreens with all the "silly" rules! LOL Anon: Thanks for the clarification on using the $5 off $50 vs $12 cat in the second transaction and the rules using the cat! :-)

Huggies are 11.49 here too.

Still a good deal. :)

Anon in Mesa, AZ. If you're going to the power rd store, keep an eye out for Cindy. She's a great, coupon friendly cashier. She kept asking and making sure that I had coupons for everything I had. :) She coupons too, and was at Kmart on her day off scoring deals!

I was bummed to find that none of our local Kmarts are doing double coupons (Gville, SC) - however, I picked up a package of wipes that were on sale for 5.99 to push my transaction over $50 - they took one of my $2 off coupons on it, so it was only $3.99 - definitely a good deal, would be even better for folks whose stores are doubling!

My kmart (SE Michigan) has Huggies on sale for $8.99 a pack so this is going to be sweet! I'm having everyone I know print me coupons, lol!
