Birds Eye Steamfresh Meals for Two Deals!

As most of you know, Birds Eye released a high value coupon in the 10/18 SmartSource insert: Buy one Birds Eye Steamfresh Meals for two, get one FREE (up to $8.99 value). You can also sweeten this deal further by combining this coupon with the the $1.50/1 coupon from the 9/13SS.

Target has the Birds Eye Steamfresh Meals priced at $5.50 each. Combine both coupons from above and you'll snag each meal for just $2! Also, Randalls has these on sale for $4.19 each, so after both coupons ONLY $1.35 per meal!

Do you know of any other in-store deal for these Birds Eye Meals?

(Thanks, Lisa!)

Has anybody tried these yet? Good deal or not, I'm not making room in my freezer if they're bad. :P

They are really good! Can't remember which one I have tried, but I have had two different kinds.

Thanks, been holding out and hoping for a good deal on these. Was needing to make a trip to Target already.

Is there a way to print the 1.50 coupons? Don't have the one from 9/13 SS

I ate the one with the shrimp very good....

Walmart has them for $4.98 at my Walmart in Northwest Indiana. I did this deal yesterday and combined with the overage from the Rolaids deal, my total was SUPER cheap!

Does anyone know any blog that highlight Hy-Vee Deals? They have Steamfresh Veges on sale for $0.99 this week but not these meals.

I tried to do this deal at Walmart yesterday but the cashier said the computer wouldn't take the BOGO coupon and the $1.50 coupon. Bummer. So I used the BOGO's since that was the better way to go. Now I hope Hubby likes them since we have 4 bags in our freezer.

Julie, I've had that same problem at Walmart. :(

Thanks for the feedback, I'll pick up a few. :)

How can you use a b1g1free coupon + a $ off coupon in one transaction? Thanks =)

Wouldn't using two coupons, both manufacturer, be against the rules? My grocery store has these on sale for 5.99 and i have a b1g1 coupon. How is it that you use two?

Hmmm...seems like you could use both since you have two items and two coupons. Isn't the BOGO free coupon for the free item and the $1.50 coupon for the item you're paying for? I don't know... Probably depends on the cashier you get:)

I usually eat one of these myself. There really isn't that much in the bag...

I would think you could use the $1.50 coupon for the one you are buying as you are still paying something for it, and then get the other one for free. I am going to try...

Most stores will let you use both because you're taking $1.50 off one, and getting the other free.

For CrystalKitten, littlepeoplewealth.com highlights Hy-Vee deals each week.

I really don't understand why stores care so much. They get reimbursed for all of it from the vendor.

I used to cashier at walmart, and I never told anyone no unless it was expired, had no return address, or if the register beeped by itself. So I don't know why they say no if they don't even try.

I would think both would work because they are 2 differnt coupons for 2 items. The BOGO is you get one free with a purchase of another..and the $1.50 would be for the one your paying for. Either way, the store gets their $$ for it. I guess some cashiers are just too scared to do something wrong that its easier for them to say NO and hope you say okay..I'd suggest asking for a manager. CSM's are okay, but in the store I worked at, they were all like 18 and they just said "I don't know..I don't think so..no..sorry I don't think we can do that for you."

So ask for an assistant manager.
Just my thought! OH YA..bought 2 with my BOGO. I'd have to agree..one bag is like a good serving for 1 person..so 2 bags are the way to go for some good grub!

Also, if you have never had these, they are microwaved in the bag. 10 mins and hubby has a healthier dinner than McDonald's. So, ladies out there, hubby's can make these too!

My walmart has these on sale for 2 dollars a pack...

We had the shrimp alfredo one too. It was really good! Pair it with a salad and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Hubby loved it and he is normally a very harsh critic of frozen meals.

We like these too, but they're fairly small. My husband can eat a whole bag himself.

My opinion - if you can get them for a buck or two, i guess try them. I've tried 2-3 different kinds and they were nasty. Reminds me of slop. And I normally love birds eye stuff...

But others may feel differently.

I just used both coupons at walmart and they were only $5, so 2 for $3.50 after the coupons...pretty sweet deal!

The CSM and the cashier at WalMart had a fit this week when I tried stacking the Q's...I was so frustrated. I had 8 of them and I made them take them all back much to the dismay of the cashier. $6 is $6 and if they won't do it...I will go elsewhere. I hate Walmart anymore. Gurr..
