I received an email from a reader stating that Walgreens has all their Halloween candy 50% off! She was able to score the large bag of Wonka candy for just $1.99-- by using the $2/1 coupon from Coupons.com!I would suggest heading to Walgreens soon with all your candy coupons in tow! This is a great time to stock up for Halloween.... especially if you have procrastinated like me!

Mine did not have clearance candy yesterday evening.
I'm reluctant to go over there - our Wags NEVER has the same clearance that I read about here! they still had the Brita pitcher at 21.99 when I checked yesterday!

I'm in So. Cali. and no clearance as of last night. I have been checking ever since I read one person said it was 70% off but I have not been able to find it on clearance ....yet. It really depends on the volume your store sells and how much they purchased. I am going to my slow store today so maybe they will be clearancing. Also my cashier told me they do markdowns (for this store anyway) on Thursdays. So here is to hoping!
Just called my local Walgreens and was told their candy was not 50% off, probably not til after Halloween! :(
I have a friend that does markdowns for Walgreens. She says the markdowns come from corporate, but the managers can veto them. She floats, so she tells me different store managers have different attitudes about the deals we get- one was furious about the sugar, another refused to markdown the noodle bowls! So, yes, it really does depend on the manager!

Just a heads up but at my store they were BOGO 50%, not just 50% each.
At the Walgreens in Springfield, MO the candy is buy one get one %50 off. And, most of the chocolate is 2 for $5.00.
I thought I was going to score today when I went in for the BOGO Nature Valley Granola bars. Some flavors have been marked down to $2.79, I had a couple of $1/2 coupons. Unfortunately, the ad says BO at 3.99 get the second free. Bummer. Maybe it will work for someone else though. Our candy was not on clearance yet. I'm waiting until tomorrow or Sat. to go.

I live in Utah and the albertsons near my house had all their halloween candy for 50% off. I used my $2.00 nestle and wonka coupons and got the big bags for 2 bucks!

The halloween stuff is not 50% at our WAGS either. The guys said they usually discount at around 9pm Halloween night.
I got mine for 50 cents at Smiths Marketplace in LEhi, with my coupon. They were 2 for 5$. I beat!
Our Toys R Us has the candy half off. And I don't believe for a second that Collin ever procrastinates!
I went to the one in Republic. I assumed that all the area one's were the same. Maybe a bad assumption.

Anonymous, Do a google search for Rite Aid prescription transfer coupons, they have two that you can use together for a total of $50 and they don't expire until 11/30. My doc always sends my prescrips to Walmart and I transferred 2 today to Riteaid and used the coupons. After figuring the cost of my meds, I still profited $10, pretty cool. I will have to get in on some of those SCR's to spend the $50 GC's.

Thanks for letting me know where you went. Not sure if all Walgreens in our area clearance their stuff at the same time.. I will stop at the nixa one tommorrow and see before I go to school and then probally the one on Sunshine while I am in Springfield tommorrow..
update to previous comment about candy being 50% off, it is still not and does not look as if it is going to go to clearance in So. Cali. before Halloween. :( The signs just advertise the bogo50% deal they have going right now. But on an off topic, the robitussin DM deal is AWESOME! I am gettting the bottle of Robitussin because mine is out of the 2 go 2 pk and I am getting it for the $2.49 price and using a $1 MQ so paying $1.49 and getting $2.50 RR in return. :)

Wags N.CA - Buy one at $5.99 get another at 50% off. No other clearances other than Halloween Costumes, locker decor and .29 Scented Oil Warmers (the ones that you can get for free with coupon). I did finally get the Robitussin tonight on a happy note.
Halloween candy is not 50% off in OK yet. They did have tons of other clearance sales going on though. I was able to get two of the large Glade candles on clearance for $4.99 and I had tow of the $3.00 off coupons. They also had some of their Loreal mineral eye shadows for $2.49 and I had $1.00 off coupons for them. So a couple of stocking stuffers for my daughter. I also picked up some of the Rimmel cosmetics that are 50% off and had coupons for some of them. I wish I had more coupons for Rimmel since they are on clearance. My daughter loves their mascara and eye makeup remover. They also had Bratz paint by numbers for $0.49 and different Disney marker and stamp sets for $0.49. Some really great deals!!
No 50% off candy at the store on Pelham & Roper Mtn in Greenville, SC.
So the Caldwell store on 10th ave is NOT participating(though when I called they said yes) and the one on 10th & Blvd will be marking theirs down tonight. So you could snag some great deals tomorrow!
