Can't you use 3 $1 off coupons from the sunday insert? then it would be free :)

Anonymous said...

well, 67 cents per 12 pack, not free, sorry

Cool! I'm going to do this today. Question though... is there a reason why we only use 2 coupons for the Northern? Does RiteAid limit the number?

There is a $1 printable coupon on the quilted northern website... http://www.quiltednorthern.com/coupons.html

Any deals out there for the following recent coupons?
$1.50/2 dunkin donuts coffee
$.40/1 skippy natural peanut butter??

I want to get them for free/nearly free.
Lemme know if anyone has seen anything...i'm desperate!

Same question, why can't we use the 3 one dollar coupons for the Quilted Northern Bath Tissue?????

Jill said...

Wouldn't you only be able to use 1 of the $1 off manufac. coupons since you are already using the $5 off 2 (and your only suggesting buying 3 packs)?

Anonymous said...

The coupon on the Quilted Northern website is for the Soft and Strong, not the Ultra Plush.

Unknown said...

Jill, the $5/2 is a Rite Aid coupon. So you can pair that with the Manufacturer ones.

There was also a $2/1 Quilted Northern Video Value coupon from last month if you've still got that around you can get each pack for only 33¢!!!

wahooo!! we are SO OUT of TP...we are now down to using that horrible cheap Walgreens 1ply that I bought on accident, lol...
thank you for posting this!

My $5 off 2 coupon from watching the video says Manufacturer's Coupon.

Sounds good...going today!!! Woohoo! Im new to this site, have only been couponing the "Right Way" for a week now, and Im addicted...and the husband loves it of course!

Yes, you can use 3 $1/1 coupons. I just updated the post with the correct info! Using 3 coupons will make each 12 pack just $0.66! Yay!

Jill-
Although it says Manufactuer's Q on it, it is actually a store coupon (as long as it has the Rite Aid logo), at least that is how Rite Aid views it. It is even stated as such in their coupon policy. So you can use the $5/2 in conjunction with the Man Q's from the insert.

For the Real Simple Rebate...we just need to send the recpiept with items circled alont with a adressed 3x5 card....thats it? No form to fill out? Just double checking!

Anonymous said...

I just got back from Rite Aid and got my TP! They had no problem taking any of the coupons. The cashier thought there might be a problem but when she scanned all the Q's there were no beeps or anything. I gave the $5/2 Rite Aid Q before the $1 manuf. Q's if that makes any difference. I also used the $5 off $20 Rite Aid Q instead of the $3 off $15 since I was purchasing other items (the Spinbrush, Crest toothpaste and Kotex pads which are all free/cheap after Q's and SCR)! Great deal, thanks!!!

Just an FYI, I have the copy of the Real Simple ad for the rebate, and in the really fine print it says "while supplies last" so I don't know if all people are guaranteed a rebate?

cjs said...

Oh, and there is an Ultra-Plush 'guarantee' if you aren't completely satisfied with the TP here: http://www.quiltednorthern.com/comfortChallenge.html (I imagine you will need to decide which fits you better - the Real Simple Rebate or the Comfort Challenge because you need to submit your original receipt for either/or) Happy couponing!

Heres the sad thing. I have all the other coupons but when I pull up the video page it says "error" and doesn't show any product videos to watch.
Also wonder where I could get the $5 off $20 Rite Aid coupon?
TIA

I cant find the 5/2 coupon??

We were out of TP yesterday and had to run to the store for that and my newspapers. I knew this would happen :( But I might go out today anyway and stock up so this doesn't happen again!!

An even better deal:

Purchase (4) $5.99 each $23.96
Use (2) $5.00/2 Rite Aid Video Values Coupon or there was a $2 RA coupon from Oct Video Values
Use (1) $5.00/$20.00 Coupon
Use (4) $1.00/1 in 10/11 RP
or $1/1 Quilted Northern printable
$4.96 for 48 rolls or $.10 a roll

Plus submit for the $5 rebate so these will be free.

FYI - here is how I did the toilet paper deal.

Purchased 4 QN TP 5.99 each (23.96)
Purchased 2 tic tac chills $1. each
Total: 25.96
(I didn't have the $5/$20 Q anymore, so I had to find a different way with out costing me more)
Used:
$5/$25 PDF RITEAID Q
2-$5/2 rite aid value QN coupon
4-$1/1 QN coupons
2-$1/1 tic tac chill printable Q collin posted a while ago expires this month.
Paid: $4.96tx

Will send in the rebate for $5.00 to get all this free!! I like my senerio better than the one I posted that I found on another site, as I get the tic tac chills free too!

I thought the Video Values coupons state one per customer?

Anonymous said...

Hi Collin! Thanks for this great deal -- you actually got me to go to Rite Aid a second time today! Went this a.m. when I drove into town to get the Sunday paper; now again this afternoon. Of course, this time my husband decided he wanted to come along . . . turned out a chocolate shake & an Angus burger at McD's were the big attraction. Plus going back home the loooong way around so that he could sightsee. About $12 McDonalds and gas dollars later, he ate into any savings!!! But still a great deal:-D

The same thing is going on with me TIA - I have signed in and can NOT get any coupon video to play. There is an error message on the video screen. Is it possible my system is having a problem? Any suggestions?

I did the TP deal as outlined in the post but I also bought two thermacare (buy one get, one l/2 price) using the RA video $1 cpn and two $1 mq. The advantage to that was I could then use the RA $5/25.
Now I'm off to send in my rebate. How lovely.
Thanks to all who helped put this deal together.

My problem with viewing the video was solved when I joined the video "club" then signed in with my user name and password. Once that was done I could earn then redeem the points/coupons using the My Rewards tab. Hope this helps, I almost gave up.

I did register, as well. Maybe there are lots of people trying to watch all at the same time. I will keep trying.

Thank you for posting this awesome deal! I had to buy TP anyway so this helped out a lot. The cashier was an elderly gentleman and he was surprised at how low my total came. I bought more than just the TP with coupons. It made me giggle.

Unknown said...

Thanks you!!!!! Picked up the TP & Crest toothpaste for $8.01 but will get back $5 & $2.69!

Anonymous said...

This deal worked for me! yay! I only had one newspaper coupon, so it wound up costing me a little bit more, but still....saved a ton of money. And we ALWAYS need TP! thanks so much!

Couponing4myTacoma said...

Well I only had 2 of the $1 Q anyways BUT after the rebate it still makes it $3.50 total. NOT TOO SHABBY! :)

OH and this was another checkout that i had to educate the store manager! Oh please tell me i'm not the only one in this town who goes for the deals... :)

I only have cp's for the quilte northern soft & strong, is that the one you are usingor is there an actual ultra plush cp out there??

Anonymous said...

Anybody knows how long it takes to get your fall of gift certi? I requested mine on 4th of Nov.

Unknown said...

I did this deal today, and yeaahhh for super cheap soft TP! (i would rather pay for good TP than wipe my bum with the horrid stuff!)..

If you go to your RA and they dont have what you want.. ask.. :) Mine only had the soft and strong out, and only 2 packs. I wanted 3 packs of the ultra plush. They looked in the back and brought me out what I wanted :) yeah!

and.. Yes you are only supposed to have/use one Video q per account.. (i know you can print more.. its kinda an honor thing.).. I had my november and december q's to use. Im not sure how they would feel about using mine and my moms on the same transaction tho..

if you have to spend $15 in order to get the $5 rebate how would this work?

Anonymous said...

Janine-

Skippy Peanut Butter is on sale for .99 at Albertsons with the in ad coupon. With your .40 off it would be .59 cents.

Unknown said...

I can't get the $3 off $15 coupon to work, even using the 01085 zip code and other advice? thanks

TiffanyG said...

It took me about two weeks to receive the Fall Savings Certificate.

Rite Aid is fairly quick with sending out checks and certificates. It's the gift card that take some time.

I know this is a little off the TP topic. I just wanted to say thank you to Collin for all her hard work by posting great deals. I went to rite aid this past saturday and purchased items with a retail total of $84.33 for .52 cents.
I started looking at blogs a few months ago after losing my job. It has helped stretch out the one paycheck we now receive. I am very grateful for the information.

I did this deal, however I didn't use a manufacturers coupon with it, because my store won't allow it. I did use the $5 off 2 video values.

The video values coupon says manufacturer's coupon at the top and says the manufacturer reimburses at the bottom. Can you use this and a regular manu coupon? My cashier does not let me do it, but she may be wrong. BTW, I swear that woman lives there. She waits on me every single time I go in there.

Thanks in advance!

For those who were like me that were not able to snag the $3 off $15 coupon. I just recieved an email today from Rite Aid with this coupon link for a $3 off $15 purchase. I know its too late for the rebate but its still a good deal with or without rebate.

My 1.00 coupons said for soft and strong and the 5.00 coupon was for ultra soft..,but they all scanned w/out any beeps! YAY! that was my first trip to Rite Aide..I am so excited!
